The entire experience was unfortunate to be honest. I booked my Uhaul weeks before the move and was notified 2 days prior to moving from NYC to Chicago I would have to drive to Garfield, NJ to pickup my truck, and extra 45 minutes. The dispatcher said he would issue a credit due to the inconvenience, however this was not honored. Karen was wonderful and hospitable, did what she could to mitigate the situation but her management was unable to execute. Additionally the team did not notify her I was picking up the truck. The truck was dangerous - there were several issues with the drive, including a slipping transmission and the vehicle would not accelerate over 72 MPH. I was very lucky to make is safety. Extremely disappointed with Uhaul.Lauren F.
Brilliant customer service. Technician arrived 10 minutes early to hook up the trailer. He wore a mask and practiced social distancing. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable!Robert B.

I paid for a dolly I did not receive. I also was unable to receive a refund when requested at the drop off location. The pickup location was suppose to be open at 9am Incase of assistance although no one was there when I arrived and I was there untill 930 trying to pickup my truck. I understand things are out of the ordinary with COVID. But the store not being open during there operating hours made it difficult for me to figure out how to do the mobile pick up as well as I had to move without the dolly that I had ordered.Kaitlyn G.

In spite of booking an appointment well in advance, we go one hour earlier to pick the track and they don't have it. This is uhaul standard horrible behavior and they just play with people letting them book at the same time for the same track and whoever comes first will take it. For this reason I am moving to the competitionPuneet A.
