Recommend having the vehicle fuel full when renting. Trying to match the 1/4 tanks is a hassle.

Nicholas MThe dolley was not in the rental like I paid for. I made an online reservation for one way and it changed it to in town and added a bunch of charges. They charged me double the price on top of the rental because I returned at different location even though at pick up I stated the location I was going to drop off. I called I 800 go U-Haul and they were horrible.
Rosa Ethe location and truck had no problems....it was the surprised, forced, and unwarrented, $25 cleaning fee which i provided all the pictures at checkout. i only went 14miles with large furniture. I called and was told i would get a refund but never received a call back from uhaul or the refund.

Lillianna PAlthough the people were very nice and appeared competent and helpful they apparently rented the "local truck" which ended up causing all sorts of issues down the line. I tried to add another day and was told I would have to call the regional office and I did and they said they would take care of it and then texted me new information. Well, that new information had me brining the truck back to this same location which was not the case.

My vehicle insurance covers rentals. Then to see the final bill. I was floored. Never again. What a scam. And to rent it out with 1/4 tanknof gas? Rediculous. Person that helped me get it was not helpful and had no interest in trying.
Clara RYour website was difficult to use for the mobile check in process. It was very clunky and hard to navigate. The return was difficult as well
Christina WThe truck had spilled fruit loops in the drivers seat & a cat collar in the passenger seat. When we got there to start the reservation, the truck had no fuel. When returning the truck, we didn't know where to park because there was not a spot or parking lot.

MARC SPlease contact me at 717-460-4303, I was charged for gas when I should not have been and was told by the attendant there was nothing he could do because the person before him put the wrong reading in and I would have to call for the refund of it, someone else's mistake is somehow my problem and headache, this is not ok

Erin MWaited I the lobby. Nobody around. Office door finally opened and guy said, "hey what's up?" I said I had a truck to turn in he said oh I am not expecting one. You have to go somewhere else. I said this is the place I picked on my contract online. Why give a choice if I can't use it? He said " Yeah, Indont work for UHaul". I called UHaul and was told he can't ask it and you are now on his log to turn in. I went back inside and told him he said. RUDELY, " Yes but I didn't want it!" How is that my problem. He shouldn't be allowed to even have an affiliation with UHaul He is disrespectful and rude to UHaul customers. He gives UHaul a bad name.
Patrick DI drove 12 miles, and the gas went down less than 1/8th of a tank. Admittably, I did not refill the 1/8th of a tank. I was charged $35 for that gas. I saw the $7.50 per gallon charge prior, but knew I did not use more than 1 gallon of gas. I am very confused how that adds up to $35.
LYDIA CTeach Michael customer service, clean the truck before someone new gets in it, especially during Covid times we are in, it was gross, don't make someone get in a truck parked on black ice, fix the issue where a customer has a reservation then you get there and told you are supposed to be somewhere else and get told, " I can't magically make a truck appear." And "this happens all the time."

JOSENATIVIDAD OStorage Sense was professional and quick and local to my location. Signed up the day before, picked up the truck and got on with the job. Rental was in great shape and met my needs. Service was excellent. If you need to rent a Uhaul dont hesitate to use Storage Sense for your needs! 10 out of 10 would rent again.

Joan mI booked the truck for stating friday 5pm for 12 hrs.. but i know based on my work i could extend upto 23hrs for same rental. But the person at store almost warned me, that i have to drop the vehicle at 11.15am bcos there is other person taking it from 1130am.. thats not my problem.. if i extend i am going to pay thats all. He also warned me you have to out gas.. else i will fine you.. sont feel bad about that.. and started giving abc of everything... i literally dint like the way he behaved. Uhaul will loose customer with this kind of behavior.
vignesh sI would have to say that my experience with the U-Haul reservation pickup and drop off process is the worst I have ever encountered. How better it gets is entirely up to whomever is reading this. Friday 9/24 4:00 pm - I arrive a little early at Storage Sense Mechanicsburg to pick up my 9' Cargo Van. After much wrangling with the App, chat, two phone calls, and the clerk at the desk, I get my van 90 minutes later. The van itself performed fine. It held my cargo easily, drove very well. Only thing missing is remote controlled mirrors. I was by myself, and adjusting the passenger side mirror correctly proved to be a difficult task. Sunday 9/26 9:00 - I arrive to return my cargo van. When using the App, I try to upload the photo of the dashboard with the mileage and gas gauge. I do this after enter both in the app. I try this TEN TIMEs without success. I leave to walk the dog in a nearby park. Sunday 9/26 10:00 - I return to try this again. I repeat this process: When using the App, I try to upload the photo of the dashboard with the mileage and gas gauge. I do this after enter both in the app. I try this another TEN TIMEs without success. I call the number for support. I am on hold for 45 minutes before speaking with a representative. She is very cordial, and places me on hold for another ten minutes. She informs me that she noted my return time of Sunday 9/26 at 10:30. She further informs me that she is unable to complete the return and I must call Storage Sense on Monday and complete the return over the phone. I spent two hours trying to return this van on Sunday, without success. Monday 9/27 9:30 am - No answer via phone at Storage Sense. I drive down to the location, and speak with the clerk. They took it upon themselves and completed the return. They get an A+. Now it is up to the customer service at Uhaul to do something. I spent a total of FOUR HOURS of my life dealing with pick and drop off of this vehicle. This was not a fun four hours, but very aggravating to say the least. I would expect more than a simple, easy to give apology. I would expect something to show how sorry you really are. Please prove me right. I can be contacted at david@porcelan.com or 717-805-0105. David PEmployee was late, shrugged and said "traffic" when we said we had been told 9:15 and he opened the door at 9:43. Said they don't even open til 9:30, our email said 9:15. Said we could enter as soon as we were wearing a mask. Dont mind being reminded to wear a mask, no need to be hostile!! He shouldn't be working with the public, too rude, not helpful at all!!!
Thomas BI wish the pickup via mobile would have a better way to validate renters like myself who have no intention on stealing the truck. What I mean is…every time I try to use the app/iPhone browser to rent I get stuck at the verification screen. They want to call everyone I know to confirm I'm who I am. Wish by the way is fine…but could this be done once!? It seems every time I go to rent the system always asks for that info.
Jason TI did the early pick up and there was not a dolly in the truck. The chat uhaul folks provided solution was to go inside (closed) or get a refund by calling uhaul. I needed the dolly to move, so I had to spend another 15 mins on the phone with uhaul to then go pick up the dolly at another location. More time lost for me. This was all after I was pushed from my originally requested location and had to pick up my auto transport the next day over 45 mins one way from my house. I have moved probably 15 times over the last 20 odd years due to the military and the clear lesson is always use a "uhaul store" where their main business is renting equipment and storage. The rest of the uhaul locations are all over the map as far as reliability, cleanliness, safety, etc. This location was nice, but I don't blame the owner for not keeping up to date on equipment rentals since it looked like they only had 3-4 pieces sitting there. Not their main business, so it did not surprise that the dolly was missing--in fact, I was just surprised that the truck was there.
