Floor on driver side muddy dried and uhaul did not check equipment available so delay in pickup time

Mileage was off, fuel was off, truck was not clean and all damage was not marked. Contract was not put in my name and charged me for insurance that I told him that I did not want. Took him 45 minutes to do the rental. Was not professional and cursed in the office.

The check out process took too long. The check in process was a nightmare. The lady typed and submitted the mileage wrong resulting in an EXTRA charge on my account of $417.00. It was corrected and I was charged another $315. The first charge was refunded, but it took a few business days to process resulting in bank fees as a result of my account going negative.

I tried to come before they were open using the 24/7 truck share. My reservation was taken care of a week in advance. When I get there before, I tried checking out with the app and it said that I had to wait a whole hour until they opened. I called customer service and they said this location just forgot to put my key in a lock box the night before even though they were given plenty of notice. After waiting an hour, was able to get my truck. The only solution that was given was to wait while I had people at my house waiting to load up the truck. Why offer the truck share 24/7 if the location can’t deliver on it. Very frustrating. Not using UHaul again.

The truck ran great and was exactly what I needed. The inside of the truck was cover in dog hair (I'm guessing). The first thing I had to do was wipe the inside down. My 36 furniture blankets were not there with the truck. I was told drive over to another Uhaul and get them yourself. NOT what I was paying for, but that's what I had to do. Does that count toward my mileage? probably, thus a double whammy. Tried calling them for 3 hours Friday to confirm my order, I was told by the dispatch that where busy helping other customers.

The lady who runs the site was very helpful the rest of my experience with Uhaul not so much! I had so much trouble even making a reservation for a 20’ foot truck. Everyone I called told me there were no trucks available for the date I needed. One guy even told me there were no trucks with in a 5200 mile radius for the whole upcoming week. I knew that couldn’t be right. Then up on calling Uhaul itself for the second time I found a truck for the day I needed after the run around I had gotten from the first three calls. I never received my confirmation call the night before and the email I received had the wrong pick up address for the truck. The morning of the pick up I was told that there were no trucks for me at the address they had listed for me. Then I was given the run around once again. Finally after many calls I found my truck I had reserved. Then Uhaul had a computer problem and was down for hours and I couldn’t pick the truck up. My reservation was for 10am and I didn’t get my truck until 12. Once I was at the site of pickup I once again had problems with the text they sent me to confirm my truck was suitable for me to check it in. The text had a totally different truck number then what I had been given the keys to. So once again I had to walk back to the office and let her call and see what was going on there. The truck wasn’t in the best shape either. It rained multiple times while I was moving my stuff only to find out up on unloading it leaked badly all over my furniture and boxes. My couch got wet from where the water came in through the moms attic space down into the lower part. Several of my boxes of glassware were soaked badly on the bottoms and backs that it was very hard to unload them. When I showed the guy at drop off he said he couldn’t do anything to keep them and send them to Uhaul itself. So my overall satisfaction was a disappointment really. For as much trouble as I had and the price I paid for a one way trip, I didn’t expect wet boxes and furniture when I arrived at my new location. Hopefully if I have to ever rent another one it is much better then this one has been.

The cab of the truck smelled terrible! The second I open the door the stench of dirty, wet dog hit me in the face. No amount of air freshener or airing out did any good. It was almost unbearable. Had I been flexible on my move date I would have requested another truck on another day.

Was told one price and when I retired the vehicle I was charged 90 dollars more than the original price

The reading on the gas gauge was off by a quarter of a tank and the sales clerk acted like it didn’t matter even though, with a tank that size, that’s a lot of extra gas I’d have to put in before return. So I was very grateful for the online system that allowed me to submit updated pictures.

U-haul changed location 16 hours before we were to pick truck up. then 30 min. prior to picking it up they had no truck for me after I had driven 3.5 hours to the location. could not pick truck up till next day. Extra cost of hotel room plus I lost the help to move my daughter had to load truck with just me and my wife. Not pleased at all. the problem is this is the second time this has happened in a month!

I was given the wrong truck and because of this told I would be given a discount instead my account was charged again for other fees. My truck didn’t have a passenger side mirror, the gas was wrong, the back door DID NOT WORK PROPERLY!!!! And the truck DID NOT run well.

I had a bad experience with the last uhaul I rented I was charged cleaning fee and gas when I let them know that the gas gauge was not working correctly and that the truck had issues I hope nothing happens to the next person who rents that truck.

Both Office personnel were rude and belligerent. The red-headed woman was angry with someone or something when I went to turn the rental in. “Rude”. David the manager automatically thought I was prejudice against Mexicans when I asked that the truck be inspected and noted on bill before I leave. He insisted that I didn’t trust him. I had to threaten to call the Georgetown Police before they would do their job. After I took photos of the truck the manager, David came out of the office and began the check out process. He insisted that I thought he was trying to cheat me because he was Mexican. I told him I had no idea he was Mexican and also I didn’t know him from Adam. My insistence he inspect the truck was only business.

My only complaint is that the truck and auto transport trailer should be picked up at the same location.

I initially had a reservation with Scott Co. Transmission. Upon arrival there was no one on site. I had to scramble to find another truck at the last minute. Judy with American Mini Storage found this opening and made my reservation. The woman working at Storage Rentals Elite was great as well. Those two saved my moving day.

attempted to use the uhaul app to pick up and drop off. the app simply didn't work correctly and it made the whole experience worse than simply going inside like the old way. the truck itself looked like it had been in a crash up derby, major damage on the passenger side and muddy like it was in a mud bog

Sales clerk was rude when we called on the phone to let her know we would be late, and we underestimated on the time frame we would be there. We get there, she was at lunch and wanted us to wait until she was done. We drove almost 5 hours and were on a timeline to load and go and we couldn't wait. She was rude in person as well. Uhaul directed me to this location for drop off. Representative there stated that we do not take trailers. Told her that is where I was sent. She had me unhook the trailer from the truck before I left. Not a task that I should have had to complete. She wanted me to take everything to another dealer and I was not going to do that because of mileage

The man that waited on use was very hatefull. He said we would have to pick the truck up somewhere else not sure were. We did pick the truck up at a different location and the lady there was very nice. Just wish we were told hours they opened. We told by the man 10:30. When we pick up the truck the lady said we open at 9:00
