I had a horrible experience with Uhaul this time except when I got to the pickup. The main uhaul people called two days ahead and said I didn't have my truck. It messed my move up. The only good part was the very professional and kind host at the storage plus. If it wasn't for her I'd be looking into some kind of complaints with BBB or more. Not happy at all with the way this company is ran.Chris G.

While attempting to pick up my rental I received the wrong key. I had to spend about an hour trying to get a hold of someone to get the situation resolved. Meanwhile my rental time was ticking by. Turns out my key was in another lock box and I was given the wrong box and code. There is literally 2 lock boxes. I don't think it would take too long to ensure the correct key is in the correct box while placing them. When people are renting Uhauls they are usually on a schedule and don't have an hour to kill. Nor do the people hired to help move.Sarah B.

The staff was very friendly and the process was easy, but I was charged for 40 miles on the van, when I drove about 5 miles. I'm not sure if they added someone else's mileage onto my bill or what, but I drove about 3 blocks, not 40 miles.Daniel D.

The van was dirty inside and out , smelling strongly smoke, pipe or marijuana. Then the app locked up, was not taking pictures, review driver procces a mess. I took the van, and when I turned on the heater the smell was unbearable. I return it back, then the app was telling that I was going to be charged a cleaning fee. Thank God the girl in the location made a note for me in the system and reversed the charges. I ended up in Penske, and I am happy I did. I will take a brake from Uhaul for s while. Once again, the online check-in and check-out did not work and I had to wait for the facility operator. The step for uploading my drivers license (on check-in) and photo of the mileage and fuel gauge (check-out) kept failing. I may try another provider with my next move.Perry J.

The truck was dirty. Someones stuff still remained like sunglasses in the glove box. A cigarette in the ashtray. Seat was dirty from something that spilled, like soda. Bottle opener and ashes from smoked weed found in the door handle well. We cleaned the truck out when finished! We were also charged for a dolly and hand truck that was NOT in the truck when we rented it!Shannyn A.

Pam had us dropping the U-Haul off in Garden City, when it was original set up with John to drop off at Storage Plus in Eagle as that is where our storage units were located. I had to spend 45 minutes trying to get through to someone at U-Haul to get approval to drop it off at Storage Plus as the app would not work because I was not at the Garden City location.Deb E.

We reserved and paid for 2 utility dollies. During our mobile pick up we discovered there was only 1 in the truck and the storage location was closed for the day. We sat in the parking lot talking to a uhaul rep for nearly an hour trying to find a solution but the only one offered was that we could go back in the morning to pick up another one when they opened. Obviously this was inconvenient as we were moving in the morning and already had a million things to do. Going back to that location after they opened was really frustrating. I thought at least they'd cover the cost of the missing dolly but I was still charged for both.Kristina W.

The key was not in the box. The location was closed because of the corona virus. The sign on the door said to call the number listed for help. I called, no one answered. Had to call Uhaul 800# and they had to call around, eventually getting in touch with the regional manager who contacted the facility and someone came out with the key.Mike T.

I feel that I was unfairly charged for fuel. I returned the truck with the fuel level at the same as i recieved it and yet im charged over $12 for 3 gallons of gas when I only drove a total of 11 miles. Doesn't that seem absurd? Not only would not recomend this location but I will reconsider other using any other U-Haul affiliate in the future.Alex P.

One comment: The 15 ft. van we rented had some holes in the roof that we did not notice until we were loading the unit. It was raining, the day we left so there was some water leaking on the items in the van. We did inform the fellow at the drop off location, so you probably already know this.Sandy D.

I picked up the Uhaul on Sunday when the office was closed. Will never do the again!. I had ordered a dolly that was not in the truck. That delayed how long it took for movers to move furniture.Bert G.

I rented a pick up truck from this location ( Storage plus in Eagle, Idaho ) and dropped it off after hours thinking everything was OK. I was surprised the next day to find a damage charge for $117 on my invoice. There were supposedly scratches on the driver side door, but since I didn't park the unit next to anyone and was with the unit the whole time I could not have done these and must've missed them on my walk around pre-rental inspection. Nanette in the front office of Storage Plus was unwilling to adjust my charge, telling me I had to take it up with U-Haul. She did not notify me that there was a problem, and if I hadn't checked my invoice total I would've never found this out. Needless to say, I won't be using this location again for any reason.Eric A.

I pre-registered beforehand, and still had to jump through hoops on site (there was no one there, so I was completing on my phone). I had to â€œawait approvalâ€ and then got charged incorrectly. So disappointing that you can't do better.KELLY F.

Have a truck that has an accurate speedometer, truck showed under the speed limit, then once I turned the truck off and restarted it, it showed about five mph above the posted speed limit.Ray S.

Do maintenance on truck before renting. The truck had issues when driving it. The motor got super loud like there was an issue with the exhaust. Then the truck overheated on me so I had to stop for an hour to let it cool down. Super annoying.brent J.
The transmission needs to be checked on that truck. It struggled to get past 35 miles an hour. I was afraid it would break down the whole time.Richard E.

While everything was great for what I needed it for, I was bummed I had to pay $10 more than my original quote as I was not able to get the truck from where I originally had requested. This caused the mileage to go from 4 miles to 12. Otherwise everything else was great!Jennifer C.
