Only complaint is they left a dolly and bag of some other stuff in the uhaul atttched to the wall with zip ties. If you cut them off you are charged. But yet their equipment was in the way of us moving stuff. We had to make two trips with the uhaul. In turn causing more money in miles and more time.JESSICA H.

Clean trucks when asked, do not provide vehicles that are on spare tires, EXPLAIN in detail the drop-off through the online portal. We were told to just drop off keys in overnight box then realized we had to take a picture. I could not upload my own personal picture of the milesLESLIE K.

I was not impressed with the service I received at the drop-off location. Because I did not receive any service. Nobody was available to assist me. I not was posted on the door to the facility with a phone number to assist to talk to the manager, but it was an answering machine. There was also a note on the door to the facility that stated that if I wanted assistance with dropping off a U-Haul vehicle that there would be an additional $20 charge. Therefore I used the U-Haul app to return the vehicle. I took several pictures of the vehicle because I did not trust that the vehicle would be looked after properly. I will not use this location in the future and will not recommend this location to my friends.William S.

The original pick up location was old trolley road Summerville where I got the truck on Monday, They were supposed to give me a location to pick up the car hauler on Wednesday because the were closed that day. They never called me back and left me hanging.John H.

I don't understand why you charge for gas when you already charge $.99 per mile. It seems like you are double dipping to charge both.Kenneth G.
The national help center is not always on the same page as the local dealer. Reservations were not synced properly and in one case was duplicated for some reason. Wasn't offered a choice for a drop-off location that was more convenient for me. Ended up taking it there anyway and they were able to accept the drop-off.Daniel M.

Rapid City, South Dakota: Our truck developed engine problems. When the truck developed engine problems I called the 1-800 U-Haul number and the individuals we talked to were very responsive to our situation and set us up in a Hotel in Rapid City and helped us get a replacement truck. . The U-Haul facility in Rapid City, 20 Deadwood Ave was great. The manager there was professional, prompt, courteous and took care of our needs. At the facility we were given a replacement truck that had been maintained well. The employees were very attentive and helpful in getting us the new truck and attaching the trailer to the truck. They gave us some tips on using the trailer. I thanked them for their help and their response was that they were simply doing their job - how refreshing. The moving team that U-Haul hired to transfer our household good from one truck to the other were professional, friendly and took care of our household items. Overall our experience with U-Haul in Rapid City, SD was very satisfying. Summerville, SC: The U-Haul facility where we dropped off our truck and trailer was professional, courteous, and made the process for turning the equipment in very easy.Richard O.

No representative came to check the trailer in or assist with parking location or detachment of the unit. I had to help another customer hook up a trailer and check lighting operation because the Uhaul representative was unavailable/unwilling to help. This is unacceptable as I do not get compensated by Uhaul for doing their work.Stephen P.
I called ahead, as we were dropping off a day early. The lady indicated that they were open and could accept it early. When we arrived, the office was closed for lunch, and she did come to the door, but would not check us in until her lunch was over. We checked in online instead.William M.

When we dropped off the truck the sales associate seemed less than thrilled we were there. I called the office the next day realizing that I left something of importance in the truck I rented. Everything, location, agent, truck were pretty good, better than expected. However, it was just terrible online service and on the phone (never got to a live representative). It was a holiday, but the drop off system just didn't work. Wouldn't read the location, no matter which phone was used.Sharon N.
The van smelled like a cat sprayed, looked like it got the windshield. The van I was promised, was promised to someone else, my card has been charged 68.00, pending along with a little over 10.00 for a quarter tank of gas. The customer service was poor. The truck provided had an engine light on and was told that they had been sending it out anyway because they knew what was wrong with it. The truck had to travel a round trip of more than 200 miles and it felt like the transmission was not shifting properly.James W.
