Quick and easy rental AA

First time customer, I needed to rent a U-Haul, drive 3.5 hour to Orlando, pack up an apartment and get back to Broward. The only issue was the battery that died when I pulled over to get gas. It was repaired in a timely fashion, with only a minor delay and getting everything done exactly as needed. The amount of money I paid, it's pretty fucking annoying. I'm not sure who's fault that might be but I'd suggest making sure all vehicles have a new battery at least every 4-5 years. Everyone I interacted with, Heidi specifally was especially nice, professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire experience. Her service was a complete 5/5, but I have to give a 4/5 because of the battery.

Well it would be easy for me to have collected on the 50 $ guarantee as they lost my reservation this was not the fault of the staff at this location but these nice people made sure I got a truck. I was delayed I getting my move started but did get a truck

The location was more than efficient. Unfortunately, the on-line reservation system is very inefficient, took much longer than the time I used the truck itself. I will never use it again.

A hydraulic ramp that is wider than what U-Haul has, would be good. It would be also good to have persons on the premises to help with moving stuff in and out of the storage space. Alternatively, it would help to have forklifts.

Pops Fleet Service didn't have a truck available for my reservation. I picked this location because of its proximity to the locations I needed to visit in the truck. It was a huge inconvenience on moving day. To add insult to injury, I was charged $18 in gas even though it was left on full. Even more, I was charged double mileage than what I would have used if my original reservation wasn't messed up (by not fault of my own). So will I use Uhaul again? Most likely not. Why? Because I was terribly inconvenienced on my meticulously planned moving day, throwing off everything. Then Uhaul nickel and dimed me on every mile, gas, and pain in the neck that they caused. I really hope no one else has an experience like this. This was a bad experience and I don't wish it on any future customers. Oh! And I have yet to receive an email response to my email outlining all this. It's been over 3 days.

The vehicle was clean, but it was not mechanically sound. I filled it with petrol, as the customer who utilized it before me did not. U-Haul used to provide free local mileage, now they charge a per mileage rate. As with all corporate empires, they exploit their customer base to maximize share-holder value.
