Online pick-up system sucks! I was going through the motions for 20-30min and finally went inside Storage Cache for some in person assisting. Once I had a real person helping me out it was quick and easy. But the online tool doesn't work as advertised.Barbara D.

Was told to drop the key, THEN use the website to check in. I needed the key to provide all the requested info on the truck. Also, the passenger side mirror was floppy so I didn't have a side mirror. I duct taped it.Angela C.
When we arrived, the key was not in its proper location. Owner did not answer calls. Wasn't able to pick up the Uhaul, BUT WAS STILL BILLED $79.04, even though I called that morning and spent 20 minutes waiting for a Uhual representative to take my call so I could cancel the transaction. When I asked for a cancellation number, she was not able to give me one. She said she would contact the local owner to cancel the transaction.David D.

In the past mileage has been included up to a certain amount of travel. This was so expensive, and I don't think I'll use U-Haul again for a move. The fuel alone was $85, plus the daily rental fee of $29.95, plus $.79/mile @ 200 ish miles. The daily rate wasn't prorated based on a 24 hour fee, had I know that I wouldn't have rented for 2 days. I assumed it was similar to a rental car (based on hour / 24 hour period). Pick up location was good, and personal were very nice.Christina B.

When I picked up the truck the cab had dried mud caked on the floor and drivers side door. There was also mud on the exterior of the truck. When I brought it back I had swept out the bed but there was still some wet mud in the bed. So I won't argue with the cleaning fee, but if I'm being charged a cleaning fee? I have an extensive relationship with U-Haul I've been renting U-Hauls for about 9 years now this was the worst experience I've ever had with your company the man who rented me the truck did not know how to close the latch on the back door did not realize the latch was jammed so it would not close all the way so I fix that I put the key in the ignition and it fell back out did not need a key to start the vehicle the man was very rude and very inconsiderate of the fact that I was paying so much money for a truck and the truck was not what it was supposed to be I've never rented a truck that was so old this was a 2006 vehicle was not clean it was filthy inside the back of the truck have leaves and mud in it. I would never recommend anyone to go to this person or this location ever again.SUZETTE V.
We had a problem with pick up locations. We were moved to four different locations and given a different time. An hour before pick up we were told that the truck was there, but the person working wasnt going to be there and we would have to wait until the next day. When we said this was not acceptable she moved the location of the truck and downsized the truck. The represetive had horrible phone skills and never did a greeting when calling, she would pick up the phone and ramble without you knowing what was going on. The location we picked up from from friendly, but tried giving us a guilt trip because the person dropping the truck off before us wanted it longer but because of US couldnt. Overall trying to schedule and pick up a truck was a nightmare I never want to repeate.Joseph A.

I reserved the U-Haul for 24 hours and 100 miles. We ended up dropping it off 4 hours after we rented it and only put 54 miles on it. Somehow, our reserved rate of $127.67 jumped to $187.67 and all we got refunded was $45.00. I would not rent again from this location. They are nice people, but I can't afford to have over $300.00 of my money tied up for over a week, because the $127.67 is still pending as of this morning as well.Chasidy B.

We live in Palmer, we called the Palmer location but apparently they can't be bothered to do business so we had to deal with the Wasilla location...10 miles from our house. We used over 20 miles on our move just getting to and from the Uhaul store. We didn't even put 40 miles on the truck. Unacceptable. We also did not get a hand truck or blankets, we will be looking for other options next time we need a truck.Darret C.

The $19.00 a day is misleading. A couple hours cost a 1/4 tank of gas and over $40.00. About 20 miles total.Van W.

I paid for the vehicle with an estimated 20 mile allowance. The cost at that point with insurance was a total of about $56.00. I returned with an additional 7 extra miles on the vehicle over the estimated allowance and even returned the vehicle with an additional gallon and a half of fuel over the original amount and they STILL charged me a total of about $86 bucks. It was a pick up truck I literally only drove to my house and then the dump. What a rip off. Never again.Dominick D.

Ensure the vehicle is operable for dispatch. In this case the truck would not start due to a weak battery and the company did not have jumper cables available to start it. This created a delayed departure.gary G.
