Online rental system is terrible. Waited an extra hour in the rain because the system couldn't process a dolly rental. Dolly was busted and covered in dirt/grease. Called U-haul to return and was told to leave the keys in the truck and lock the door then had the rental location call and complain that I had followed U-haul reps directions. I will pay double to another company before I allow U-haul's low quality and disorganization to ruin anything else ever again.Adam T.

I'm not sure there is much room for improvement from the people at Stark Store Room. They are always ready to provide top shelf service for their customers, whether it's renting a U-haul, or anything else. They are just great people to deal with. When I rented the truck, it was not suggested to me that I download the UHaul app for an easier return. That would have been helpful, as I had already locked the truck and dropped the keys in the slot when I saw the little sign about the app. Other than that, all went well!BARBARA M.

U-Haul was a pain to deal with. I reserved my equipment online and even talked to a representative on the phone to ensure everything was correct. I was given the wrong pick up location. Get the right one and they had the wrong tow dolly. Finally had to go to a third location to get the right one. I was told I had the tow dolly until October 1st when my truck was due. I was charged for an extra day because U-Haul says it was due September 30th. Then I turn my truck in and was charged an extra day for it as well even so I turned the truck it at the location U-Haul asked me to on October 1st before 10 am when the truck wasn't even due until October 2nd. It's been nothing but run around lies and bullshit on U-Hauls end costing me time and money during a move that should have been easy. I WILL be posting publicly on Facebook all around the horrible experience and money stolen from me by your company. Get your act together and work on your communication skills. Because I rate them a negative 10 out of 10. I would expect this from a brand new company not you.Rachel B.
Uhaul did not inform me that I must arrange for pick up thru express check in, only that it was an option. The office doesn't open until 10am and the on site manager had to come down and check us in. All the while telling us it was her day off and she didn't have to do this but she was being nice.Rebecca W.

I was charged 14 $ for 3 gallons of fuel but I left it as I got it 5$ a gallon where do you get your gas ! Terrible.....Erin R.

Moving is stressful. When you finally reach your destination, the last thing you want to hear is; â€œyou cant return the truck here and we can't rent you that one month free storage as promised.â€ We had to pay $200 for storage, return the truck at another location and get in touch with the movers to direct them to new storage. Also, an un-used tv box couldn't be returned. Never again!lynne A.

Thought they got me pretty good on the cleaning fee - I swept it out and they said there was some mud still there. They said the cab was dirty and it sure as hell wasn't . I rent about 6 times a year and have never been charged a cleaning fee at all. It might have taken 10 minutes to hose it off - I will try Pensky next time I guess. I liked Kelly - she was helpful but I am not happy about 40.00 cleaning fee - it's winter you know?Louis M.

Since it was the end of the month, it was understandably busy.The attendant was working diligently, but still the wait was almost an hour! Perhaps there could be some additional staffing for days when there are several pick ups scheduled.... (ps -I didn't get the hand truck I was charged for, probably because he was so rushed. fix your vehicles, and when someone places their reservation and tells them "THIS" is your flat fee and thee is "NO" extra or hidden charges even after you ask 5 times indicating about miles, taxes, maintenance fees... Fuck Uhaul for over charging me and then when i tried to dispute they said "ohh well you signed the paper" of course i signed the paper i was told i could call in and dispute it... and all i get is an email saying fuck you youre not getting your money back. keep in mind im literally disputing about $50... fuck uhaul once again. It took a long time to get the rental due to the computer being down and then I looked at my final bill only to find they overcharged me on the mileage (which I have pictures to prove the actual miles) on the final bill. As if it wasn't expensive enough to begin with, very disappointing...greg T.

Whatever cleanser/fragrance was used was OVERWHELMING to say the least. Both my boyfriend and I were getting headaches/nauseous from it. It wasn't just in the cab, but the entire trailer. We had to take breaks from loading and unloading just to get fresh air. I've never experienced a fragrant uhaul, but it was not pleasant- especially when is absorbed into the mattress and other furniture. Other than that, the experience was pleasant and Mary Jo, the woman that assisted us in the rental, was very helpful- even staying late to get us set up.ALISHA H.
