The storage place I rented from was so unprofessional too slow and I had everything done online and ready my reservation was at 9am and I didn't get out of there till 9:40 and then I was over charged and uhaul wants me to go thru the storage place with no help. The facility can be difficult to enter on a weekend due to heavy traffic. There is also limited customer parking. Customer service was great.ANDRE S.

When I got this truck, it was extremely dusty. I spent a few hours to clean up before I load my personal belongings. I reported it to the clerk at the storage, she said that window cracked open during the Hot days before I rented. They didn't aware that inside was so dirty.KYOKO O.

Upon returning our Uhual vehicle, your staff, Daisy, was attentive and great. She greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. We ordered extra pads, not knowing how much we needed for the move. We ended up only using 2 bags, instead of all 6 bags. Daisy helped us get reimbursed for the extra 4 bags that we did not use. I would definitely recommend renting from location.MARINA N.

My reservation got canceled, due to your closure on thanksgiving day, without any notice. It would be fair, at least I should be notified. I have to reserve an extra day to get my reservation, be able to process. As for the 15' uhaul truck I'd reserve. It would be great, for safer of driving at night, to have brighter light.thach H.
Honestly the customer service was not very helpful. We were not directed and guided on the self mobile check in and out which ended up costing us an additional 20-40 dollars. Wish UHaul was more clear from the beginning about these fees. It felt like we were tricked into a seemingly affordable option only to find out that we had to pay a lot...Sarah I.

At first I made reservation for cargo van for next day she first said it will be transfered over to other spot the wait there was so long only one employee there was a line then they said it was never transfered over to there spot so I had to go back to get the van when I returned it to spot I owed 26.00 more so she said go to the other spot they take cash so there were two guys and only one could do my transaction so I waited and waited then he goes takes customer out to back to urned around there were others behind me they were getting inpatient so they went out to back to find him he was goofing around with other guy while we were waiting patiently but then knowing I was next this man pulls up needs propane he waits on him first I had a fever sinus cold I was very sick when he did Waite on me he says nothing was ever put on hold for my money so I got up and left told him I'm going to deposit cash in bank call me when u take out bottom line is that you need to hire responsible people to work at these placesLiza V.

I was promised with a credit direct from U HAUL has of today nothing happens. Credit promised because I made my reservation online and then a day later I received a call U HAUL let me know that my pickup will be in a different location. Your rep told over the phone that U HAUL is goin to issue a 10 credit. It never happen.CARLOS ALBERTO F.

We are glad we went to the UHaul dealership on Valley Blvd in Rosemead. Michelle at the front desk was very helpful and even made a phone call reminding us of our reservation for a van. My experience was the absolute worst! You over charged and when i paid for another 24 hour rental , not only did you harass me by calling me 5 times , you threaten me that i had to have the truck in within a few hours or you were going to charge me more. So i get there on time but didn't have time to clean it out, because you didn't give me enough time , so you rushed me toget my stuff out if the truck and clean it which i didn't get to finish because you wanted to go home so you kicked me out and told me not to worry about it and then you charge me for it. Who does that. Rent a truck and then harass them by calling them all the time , i couldn't get my things done and lost money. Not only was i confused why i had to have the truck back but i was fustrated and mad as hell. I will tell everyone about my bad experience and recommend not to rent with you. And i will leave a review on Yelp and everywhere i can!!?Mireya G.

I was assured my card would not be charged upfront, but it was. My pick up time was delayed by 45 minutes, because vehicle not available.Debra M.
On Friday morning about 11:50 A.M. I was personally at the 600 S. Garfield Ave. Alhambra CA 91801 to make a 10 foot truck reservation. The manager, Mr. Frank Tullo, promised me that I could picked up my truck 2:00 just after his lunch break at 1:00. At the meanwhile, a customer popped up and interrupted our conversation few times, but the manager still confirmed my booking of 10 foot truck at two while I was leaving. At the meantime, he copied all my documents, driving license, credit cards, e-mail address and etc. At 2:00 P.M. my wife and I arrived at the Alhambra store; Mr. Tullo shockingly told that the 10 foot truck was reserved by another customer because of his inadvertently mistake not double checking with his computer. He offered me another 15 foot truck with a higher price $10 more; certainly it would cost more gasoline for my driving too. I politely explained to him that a 15 foot was too big for my apt driveway, but he insisted that it was suitable for my moving which is a groundless statement. He made a mistake, offered no help to me but a ridiculous explanation. According to his explanation, the customer Mr. S. Huang who jumped in front of me, was the culprit of this problem. And I should told Mr. Huang not interrupt. Do I get pay to do his job? Finally, he referred me to the Rosemead store without any discount, even though I persisted and told me that it would cost more in the mileage, gasoline and an extra hour to pick up a truck in Rosemead due to my moving right at Alhambra. Because my wife had already set up a plan, without any other choice we just rushed to Rosemead and rented a 10 foot at there. I still cannot understand how a manager could not deliver a face to face booking with customer; furthermore, he cared nothing for his silly mistake but his customer paid it. All the mistakes r caused by Mr. Haung, so I cancelled all the rest booking with him as I lost my confidence in him. You may call me to obtain any further details; by the way, I could only make one trip instead of two because of time restriction. Now I hire a moving company to finish my moving. Mr. Frank Tullo rushed us to Rosemead store as there's no guarantee for us to get the truck.Tony N.

All of the personnel that I interacted with on the telephone and in person were professional, friendly, and helpful. They were all excellent, The rental truck however was not up to par. The transmission on the truck was in extremely poor condition. When driving in reverse to back up, upon giving it gas, it would not engage, and then engage all at once and jump back extremely fast which is very dangerous when trying to back up a 15 ft truck in a narrow tight space. Also, there is a rubber strip that has separated from the engine cover in the cab that interfered and would catch on my shoe upon acceleration, which is extremely dangerous and a huge liability! I did not feel safe in your truck and had a truck driver give me his professional opinion and he said it was in bad condition! The windows were dirty, the upper storage area inside the truck was very dirty and transferred onto all of my belongings. The facility itself was fine. Other than the truck it was fine. I had requested a consideration for a credit of some kind, but have not heard back.Denise S.

Check in was not great. First they told me if I purchase extra gas, I will be reimbursed. Then they said I would not. The truck I rented had a little bit of dust and tiny debris, which I didn't really mind. However, when I returned the truck the man was extremely rude. He went in the back room and handed me a broom and pan and told me to clean it up. He said if I didn't, I would be charged extra $25. Which is ridiculous because first of all I didn't create or leave any type of mess and it was simply dust that was already there when they gave me the truck in the morning. Secondly, that is absolutely no way to talk to a customer. He then proceeded to grill me to ask me if I hired anyone to load the truck and then insisted they were the ones who left dust. Then continued on and on about the dust. That man should definitely not be working there at all. When I talked to the man at the counter he actually backed the rude co-worker. It's good to be loyal to your friends and co-worker, but at the same time when he is completely unreasonable and rude you shouldn't be supporting his bad behavior.David C.
