Got done what I needed to get done. Thank you. Please educate your employees working at this location to inform the customer that the final total is the cost, including original payment. When I had paid 150.00, and came back to drop off, and was told I owed 331 more I was mortified. That was until finally she said, the 150.00 I already paid was towards the whole. Geesh. Mom and Pop Indian store no clue about reservation made at Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach U haul store. Incredibly irritating reserve a truck and be told to pick it up at another location in another town. Shop and Go people are nice but totally incompetent. Call the 877 number, they say they don't assist with payments, that's on the location, call the location back, different person answers, says I have to call the 877 number. The trailer worked fine. The trailer was messy and the one strap was so badly damaged that the store had to provide a strap for us. I was also charged double my quote, I am supposed to wait 5 days to see if it is resolved. No the best uhaul experience I've had.Joel A.

Gentleman behind the counter was friendly but had to take pictures of my credit card and identification with his personal cell phone because the owner was not in and she had to process from home. Over charged on mileage by 6 miles. It isn't much and I refuse to go back over 5 dollars. I returned the uhaul in before time. I was informed that I would be reimbursed the time that was not used. I received my receipt which indicated I turned the uhaul in 6 hrs later. I contacted the telephone number on my service contract on yesterday to dispute the time and as of Monday morning I haven't heard from anyone. Also my account was charged the entire amount. In addition, I returned the uhaul with more fuel than originally rented.Sonya K.

First, I was overcharged by almost $35. Second, I requested a dolly and never got one. Third, I booked this online for a 20ft truck and it was verified and booked and when I went to pick it up, all they had was a 26ft which was very hard for me to drive. Overall it wasn't a good experience and the ones who rented it out weren't exactly pleasant!Cindy S.

I rented a truck with an appliance dolly. The cashier forgot to ring it up in my rental agreement and charged me separately. When I asked, before I went out to the truck, if everything was in order, they said yes. I had to back the truck out of a very narrow gate, and when I got home I realized there wasn't an appliance dolly. I called U-Haul, spoke to someone in corporate who told me I would be receiving a phone call in the morning from the stop and go. No call. I had to borrow a vehicle to go to another location to pick up a dolly. Very inconvenient, and not receiving an apology phone call is very poor customer serviceMary M.

This was the second time that I dropped off a U-Haul truck at this location. My experience was really good both times. The drop off process is easy and quick and the operators at this location are friendly and helpful. I have no complaints and will continue to use this location in the future. It's ran out of a convenient store. They had me re-sweep very minor dust , not even enough to fill the palm of your hand, and had me back up the 26. â€˜ truck in a side alley. Had to wait for store customers to get taken care of before I could leave and I was there first.Aaron A.
While dealing with U-Haul corporate was good, the individual pick up/drop off sites were lacking info.. Most told me I could drop my truck off after hours at ANY location, YET thats NOT the message I got from corporate. I had my drop off location changed, BUT that locaion called to say they didn't have room so it was changed again. AND, it was changed to a location that was even closer to my moving address so I would have thought it was the first drop off location choice. Also, pick up location didn't go over paperwork with me or anything to ensure I understood the agreement, etc... Just seems like information and caring was lackingRonald D.

When we got to New Smyrna Beach Florida the trailer was not even attached to the vehicle we had to call somebody for help when he came he said it was very unsafe and had to have a spa low him to the yard and get another trailer and then he helped us. Mark in New Smyrna Beach was wonderful he was the only good part of this entire move. When we got back to Las Vegas nobody wanted to take back our equipment when we were in Florida we were promised $200 off the bill once we got here and nobody knew anything of it. And you have very lazy rude people working for you that do not want to helpDiane K.

This was a bit intimidating, as it is a convenience store in a â€˜shady' part of town. The storefront and inside the store weren't very clean and if I were a single woman, I would have been crazy to go in alone. Fortunately my husband was with me....The truck had a dinner plate sized grease/dirt area on the seat that we had to scrub off. So that was a bit gross.Ian C.

The young man who helped us at this location was wonderful. My issues are with the original reservation I had at The Spot Food Mart 218 N DIXIE FWY NEW SMYRNA BEACH,FL 32168 (386) 957-5616 The elderly woman working there was quite unnerved as she couldn't reach the owner and she couldn't access our records in the computer. You did do a good job of finding me another truck quickly but I would just like to voice my displeasure of the original confusion. Obviously the owner of that store should not be a UHAUL distributor if he can not be there and take care of business.LEON C.

This was the worst experience I have ever had!! This place really sucks and is lazy and don't tell people what they need to know about the U-Haul. I'll never go back there again. After they took out what I owe them $73 and was the correct about they want to come 3 weeks later and bill my card another $41. Call and complain and was told a manager will look over my case and give me a call back and still yet nothing from them!! Never againTrinity Z.
