Russell MarcheseUsed the 1-800 number to reserve a truck to empty a studio apartment in Batavia and to drive it to Greece in storage. Was talked into using mobile check in as the store wasnt open on Sunday even though I lack technical skills and I use an old cell phone. Was reassured that mobile check in was quick and easy. Spent 20 minutes outside of facility trying to figure out where and how to get key to reserved truck. Went back into car as weather was wet, cold, windy to call customer service. Spent 60 minutes on phone being talked through the whole phone process. Finally got key and started truck while I cleaned off snow from windows to out of. Drove 2 miles down the road to apartment and landlord left. Tried for 20 minutes to get a hold of landlord to come back to apartment to let us in. Finally get a hold of landlord and he would not return to apartment complex that day as he said he waited to long for me (we were on the phone with U-Haul). Had to return to truck to the same U- Haul location 2 miles down the road. So basically my time, money, energy was wasted for nothing.

Rick BurgettThe truck was clean, but needed work: exhaust, especially transmission in my opinion. The truck rattled and it took a long time to change gears. It served my purpose. I would not recommend this truck on long hauls. Should be serviced.

Jennifer AmacherTalk with your rental locations about the equipment. I live in PA and went to NY 4hr one way to look at it truck to buy and was going to tow my car home, I had a Tow Dolly reserved at another location they called me while I was ar the dealership at 430 to tell me the dolly had a flat tire and wouldn’t be available until the next day. I called U-haul to find another one they did but were closing at 5 so I had to rent a room and stay all night in NY which wasn’t planned. And the next AM pick up the dolly from Sterling tents and awnings.Both rental places were extremely nice and friendly. But if the Dolly would have been available at the first location the dealership was willing to take me to get while they were detailing my truck . So I would suggest keeping in touch or having your locations do an equipment inspection. But overall it was a good experience.

Michael FaganI do t know how to answer this. There was nothing wrong with the location. They were closed when I picked up the truck and the uhaul website said they would be open. I had to use the mobile app and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with technology and I am pretty well versed in using apps for many purposes. Screens would freeze or prevent me from moving on. UHaul experience was terrible. But Sandy from this office was very helpful on what seemed like her day off. Thanks Sandy. Uhaul… you need some work.

Lydia BruceThe original location I was to pick up the vehicle at was closed. I traveled over 2 hours for this vehicle reservation. I called U-Haul and the representative stated that there wasn't even a vehicle in that lot that I requested. I then was told of a different vehicle at a different lot. I went to new lot at new location. The window was cracked upon receiving the vehicle. Various dents, etc that I documented in pictures. The whole process was a headache.
