You can have what the customer ordered. I ordered a 15ft truck and 12 moving pads. Got to the location and no moving pads. Told us we would have to just deal without them. I was mainly moving furniture... mostly wood and glass and needed the pads. I had hired moving help to arrive after truck pickup and therefore had no choice but to go to Home Depot to buy pads... they cost $160 dollars! I am extremely unhappy and should have just booked a moving company for this additional money. It makes matters worse that I got a call the day before to confirm my order was ready at that location. I will never use this location again and honestly would reconsider U-Haul entirely. I put a request in to speak with the manager and never got a call back as well.

Our original location and pick up time guaranteed on our reservation were changed to this date/time and location. Our experience at this new location was great. At the original location, our guaranteed reserved vehicle was not available. After several phone calls with a U-Haul representative, an alternate vehicle and location were found, but resulted in lost time and additional mileage.

This location was great and very accommodating. However, the experience to get to this location and find a truck was awful!

This comment isn’t just for this location but uhaul customer services in general. We had an issue with the brake lights on the trailer, I called the place we picked it up from they told me to call the 800 number. After getting sent back to the main menu 3 times I finally talked to someone in road side assistance. After a brief conversation with them he said well it doesn’t sound like a uhaul issue even though uhaul installed the towing package. I took it to a shop and paid $125 to find out uhaul did not do the wiring correctly. Extremely disappointed in the lack of service, help I received after the money I spent.
