The woman we worked with was very nice and helpful. Our original reservation with uhaul didn’t go through on their end and they had us pick up a truck at a closed location. Super frustrating! This was a huge inconvenience since we were moving. Sterling Hastings was great- it was just frustrating working with uhaul to pick up a truck.

This does not appear to be a real uhaul dealerships. Parking is on the street and the office is across the street. This is not their primary business and, as a secondary it received that kind of attention. Even the personal appearance of the contact person left much to be desired

I rented the truck and booked movers from uhaul website. The movers never showed up. It took extra time to rent truck because having trouble with taking payments. I got out later than requested time. Place to return truck was closing before I returned truck. They closed st 2pm. I get a call at 3:30 (original return time) asking where the truck is and that someone is waiting for truck. I assumed because I got out late I had the 6 hours I originally ordered truck for. I was still hoping to hear from movers. Finally hear from movers after repeated calls that they were returning from vacation and thought they had blocked the day off and blamed the website. They said they would call me in 45 minutes....of course never did. So woman telling me I needded to return truck right away or I would be charged for customers waiting on truck inconvenience. When I asked how much she said she would have to ask the regional manager and get back to me. Of course heard nothing. I raced to get truck back, top off gas tank even only drove 5 miles only to find no one at the rental place and no one answered phone because it was 4 pm and they closed at 1. Needless to say I will not rent from uhaul after this move is over.

The location was great. However, U-haul overall was terrible. We made an order online only to show up and find out that our requested equipment was not there. We ended up having to spend almost 1.5 hours trying to find everything we needed at other locations.

They did not put the hand dolly in the truck costing me money and time. The whole reason I did the mobile app pickup was to get started early. Moving is never easy and I had help for a limited time frame that was blown out of the window. I am very pissed off. Getting a simple reservation done accurately seems beyond U-Haul's ability. The mobile app sucks. The whole experience sucked.

I notified the woman at the office of this "contractor" that I had exceeded my alotted mileage allowance but she indicated that U-Haul would just bill me. I calculated my overage at a cost of $186 at $.40 a mile. I believe I have been overbilled by at least $40. I also left the vehicle with more gas in the tank than when I picked it up in Kennewick.

Kimberly at the rental location was wonderful to work with. She was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She made the whole process easy to understand. She was thorough in showing me how to operate the vehicle. She explained the return procedures completely. There were no surprises because Kimberly explained each step of the rental process.

Droped the U-Haul off after hours so I didn’t really get to see the place nor did I speak to anybody. I called in the next day and they said everything was fine.

The customer service here is non existent. I booked a 26 foot truck and was downgraded to a 20 foot truck without being told. When I raised this concern I was told by the u hail people that I had to call the 1-800 number to try and fix it. They then told me that 4 other people wanted a 26' that day that were going to get the same news I did when they showed up, as if this is a normal thing and not their problem. Then, after raising the issue I was offered a 5x8 trailer "because it gives me an extra 2 feet". I had to explain to them that even though the trailer is 2 feet longer it is more narrow and not as tall as the truck and there fore less cubic space. They didn't care and just told me it was the only option. Because I was moving 1300 miles away and had to be out of my house that day they in fact we're right and they new I was out of options. Because of this poor service I ended up having to throw away our couch so we would have enough space for everything else and effectively coating more than the cost of the uhaul it's self... I would never ever recommend them or uhaul. Penske or Budget is more expensive but now I see why.

The truck floor was littered with broken glass and dirt. I was not told about a limit on the mileage on a one way rental. Nor was I told that if there was no one at the drop off location I'd have to use a smart phone to turn the truck in.

We had a bit of a hiccup with the first location we tried to rent a uhaul from on the 31st (the uhaul website said the location would be open, but they were not) but Stephanie stepped up and went above and beyond! She was incredible at helping us set up our new order and getting us a refund on the first order mix up. If we or a friend ever need a uhaul again, we will DEFINITELY be coming back to Stephanie at Sterling Hasting and Sterling!

This location was prompt and efficient can’t say the same for the original location where I made my original reservation ( 5th ave and 13th st) they did not have the vehicle I reserved and there were no customary calls and when I drove to location they sent me away and never called back!!

You had me drive 35 miles to pick up equipment. I made a reservation on July 2, for 2 days. I got an email confirmation of my reservation. You people changed my reservation twice without notifying me. You dropped it to 1 day, and I needed it for 2. On Sunday the 29, I spent 2.5 hours on the phone trying to get my reservation back to 2 days. I did. Later I called back to make sure that my reservation was for two days. It was. Within the 24 hours of that call and me picking up equipment in another city, you changed my reservation again, WITHOUT TELLING ME. The way you run your business is deplorable. If you go to a restaurant and order a steak, and they bring you chicken and then tell you that's what you have to eat, you would be pissed and never go to that restaurant again. That is exactly what you've done here. I will never be using uhaul again. If I can help it, my family and friends will NEVER use uhaul again. I would be 3 times as much just for the knowledge that my reservation will be handled properly. You people are the worst, and you made an already stressful time so much worse than it needed to be.

The trailer was not functioning when we got there. The light wiring had been removed to repair a different trailer. We hadto wait for them to go get different wiring to install and wait for it to be installed. Both tires were bald and unacceptable for our 3,200 mile move. They didn't have any other tires in the store, so we had to go and get new tires installed ourselves. The roof of the trailer allowed rain to leak onto our belongings. We were not impressed.

Ridiculous staff and location. Was expected to back a trailer down a long driveway to return with zero help from staff. Extremely disappointed. I paid for a service and did not receive it. Will never go here and after I submit this I will hop on yelp and Google to put my reviews to warn others
