I want to give a shoutout to the manager (Steve?) who called to alert me of road construction and traffuc detour :45 before my anticipated return time. This was helpful and afforded me time to better navigate to his location after a long and exhausting day of moving and driving in bad weather. This attention to detail and personal service is rare today and is vital to return customers. I'll be referring others to this location as opportunity arises

What could you do to improve service?!?! Everything! Service was horrible, management was horrible, staff was horrible, can’t blame the new guy, no one trained him. Prices varied from website to phone prices to in person pricing. One of the most unorganized and awful experiences we have ever been though. And if that wasn’t enough, I left my AirPod Pros in the cup holder and when I called the next day to retrieve them, they knew nothing about them. Shocking! Will not go back! Will not recommend! I really hope corporate sees this. But I’m not expecting much.

This location offers only one access/egress, and that's to an extremely busy arterial within a few hundred feet of a traffic light at the intersection of another equally busy arterial. Also, this location's drop-off area is extremely limited in size, so it's necessary to wind thru the curves of a mini-storage lot to drop a trailer in an isolated cranny. Never again at this place.

Staff was very kind and helpful, would certainly rent at the Steptoe location again. Trailer that I rented was clean on the inside, pulled predictably, and was also reasonably easy to back up.

I returned the truck about 45 minutes past the drop off time with more gas than the required 3/8 tank (returned with 1/2 tank which equates to about an extra $25 in gas). The lady working told me the additional charges were $150, when I asked what that was for she mentioned the extra mileage which I expected - about $85. I asked if the additional amount was "taxes" and she said yes (so she lied). She did not mention to me she was charging me an extra day fee of $40. If your policy is to charge an extra day for being a few minutes late, that's a bad policy. The rental pickup time says 11:33 but I didn't get the keys to the truck until closer to 12:00 because the guy had to get blankets and pull the truck around. So in reality I was about 18 minutes late. If your policy is to charge for that then I won't be recommending Uhaul or using your services again. One additional note on this - the pickup location is a gas station - why the hell am I picking up a truck that is only 3/8 full, fill it up so your customers don't have to make additional stops for gas!! Tell your dealers to be upfront about what they are charging for, don't lie to your customers or you won't have them as customers...

It wod be helpful if the phone agents and rental agents had access kr knew what the best trailer hitch drop was per trailer type. I was told a 2-1/2 drop would be fine for my truck. Not even close I ultimately had to buy an 8 inch drop for the 5x8 inch trailer I rented.

This was the second location I had to go to. The first didn’t leave the lock and key for the uhaul. I callled uhaul and they sent me to the second location to get a van. Then when I get billed it is for almost double what I was quoted. I was charged for an after hours pick up. Not at all what I thought I’d pay for using a uhaul for 15 miles.

Location is a little compact but the staff had the trailer set up where I could drive straight out. Staff was perfectly competent and quick. Only complaint about the trailer is that there was a bit of metal debris and some rust flakes in the bed, but I wasn't charged for cleaning them out ta the return and they didn't cause me any real trouble.

Tried to call over and over on Monday tried calling customer service no one answered. I was charged for over night and i don't know what that means. I choose the 14.00$ insurance and y'all charged me 28.00 it wasn't a good experience.

The staff at both locations were very friendly and personable (the regional manager especially,) but the equipment was not in a safe or acceptable status, also U-Haul changed my pickup location and even changed the equipment (closed trailer swapped for an open trailer) on a rental earlier in the week. This trailer had a flat tire (pencil sized hole) on pickup @ 9am, to put this in perspective, I made sure to get the earliest pickup time because we are going through a heatwave (111° F) and I didn't want to load it after noon... Well, the roadside assistance took 3.5 hours to replace the tire (in town,) during which time I couldn't load the truck. I was forced to load later while constantly burning myself (think blisters) on the trailer and nearly suffering heat stroke. I will never rent from U-Haul again, and I do regret that decision, I should have stuck with a Penske truck again. Improvement: Verify equipment status is safe and acceptable for use prior to customer arrival.
