The staff at both locations were very friendly and personable (the regional manager especially,) but the equipment was not in a safe or acceptable status, also U-Haul changed my pickup location and even changed the equipment (closed trailer swapped for an open trailer) on a rental earlier in the week. This trailer had a flat tire (pencil sized hole) on pickup @ 9am, to put this in perspective, I made sure to get the earliest pickup time because we are going through a heatwave (111Â° F) and I didn't want to load it after noon... Well, the roadside assistance took 3.5 hours to replace the tire (in town,) during which time I couldn't load the truck. I was forced to load later while constantly burning myself (think blisters) on the trailer and nearly suffering heat stroke. I will never rent from U-Haul again, and I do regret that decision, I should have stuck with a Penske truck again. Improvement: Verify equipment status is safe and acceptable for use prior to customer arrival.Adriel O.

The actual location was a little bit difficult to navigate but the personnel more than made it worth it. Super friendly and helpful. My ability to understand on line check in was below average and their help saved me from getting charged an extra $60.Julie H.
Steptoe Cleaned up the mess AAA storage rented me. Reserved a 15' truck, was told the fuel was siphoned out. Went to nearest gas station to fill it had a 1/4 hole in the fuel tank. And Steptoe provided me with a replacementTyler W.

Do not pick up truck after office has closed! Phone reservation app is horrible! I was unable to enter mileage or fuel tank level and I was charged over $60 for less than 20 miles. The truck was not in the location shown on the app. The key box was at the top of the window and I am short so I had to stand on running boards to reach key box. I was charged $10 for a dolly that was not in the truck when I picked it up. Then when I returned truck I was told by the office that they would remove the charge for the dolly but they did not.Onette G.

Workers made me drive and park all the equipment because the workers did not have enough skill to use the equipment. It's small dark and a stupid drop off area. Everyone I've told will not use uhaul in the future.DONALD H.
