What I think you should do is make sure when your customer calls to extend a rental of a truck you extend it for the right truck & not mark it off as I got a whole other rental from a different location! Dropping my rental back off today was RIDICULOUS!! Now I have to wait till Monday to speak with a manager about a refund for a rental truck from a whole different location I didn't even rent from! I will NOT be going back to this location that I rented from!

I would NEVER work with this absolute horror of an owner. He is rude, argumentative, seems to find joy in tormenting his customers. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, I was appalled and shocked at the level of disrespect I was given at asking for help with a process I was unsure of. I then was sitting silently waiting for the online process and I looked at him which seemed to set him off as he then just kept repeating “You need to learn patience.” I deliberately didn't speak to him after the complete lack of help he afforded me at first, so why he decided to start admonishing me out of nowhere, I don't know. He then berated me for asking him to not speak down to me and told me that I was harassing him. He scared me to the point of tears and then laughed and mocked me. I had to beg him to just give me the key so I could leave as I was on my own and had been dropped off so I didn't have a mode of transportation. I spent the next two hours not even able to start my moving process because I was so shaken by his behavior. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.

The owner needs to have a better attitude. If the business closes at 1pm and you are walking out the door before noon when the customer arrives don't continue walking and say you (meaning us)selected self pickup anyway and continue to get into your vehicle. Even though he eventually came out of his car to help us he and had the audacity to tell my husband that he owns the business and I told him yes that is why you can afford to act that way and as a self owned business owner you should be more accommodating which you are not. My husband went inside to finalize the transaction but this is the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

The location's posted hours were 10-5, we showed up at noon and no one was there. Another customer stopped by and said they haven't opened today (she had stopped by right at 10). We also did not receive our refund from the lack of furniture pads.

The system for returning the truck via the app relies on having internet, so when we arrived we were not able to pull up the check in page. We had to drive to a nearby restaurant to connect to wifi only to learn that we'd need to give the app our location at the site which is impossible to do without internet. We had to get close enough to the location while still being able to connect before finding out that all we had to do was drop the key in a box. A process that should've taken 5 minutes took half an hour because of this

Was a great experience through every step. Website was pretty easy and helpful. Picking a location and equipment was easy and up front. The man at the pickup location was extremely nice, helpful, and quick with the process. The return of the equipment was also quick and easy !!! Will definitely go back next time I move.

Upon arrival to the rental store, I was met with a rude owner who instead of calling me prior to tell me he didn't have a rental for me, waited till I got there to tell me he couldn't rent me a truck because he was scared I wouldn't return it in time for the next customer the following day. After assuring him I only needed it for 4 hours, he reluctantly signed it over. On my way to drop off my load, the brakes went completely out on the interstate. Luckily I could maneuver the truck with the parking brake onto the exit and into a parking lot without hurting myself or anyone else. After an hour of being on hold, I finally got through to roadside assistance. I was told they would send out a replacement truck. After an hour, I was called back and told instead, they would send me a tow. An hour later I was told instead of a tow they would send out a mechanic. When the mechanic arrived he spent 2 hours trying to fix the brakes but was unable to locate a part he needed to replace it. I was then called and told that they meant to send a tow truck initially but there was miscommunication. I then waited another hour for the tow truck. It took me 7 hours to get home and I never left my city. After a few days I decided to call and let someone know my whole ordeal was an overall terrible experience. A day later I received an email stating that they inspected my truck and could "no faults" and it was fully operational so the best thing he could do for me was to offer $50 for my time. Although my complaint was not about the money, it was offensive to be told that my experience was false. I wasn't responded to via email and I never received the modest $50 I was told I would in compensation for "my time". Overall, this experience has been horrible and the customer service has been absolutely terrible.

Was concerned items I rented (two Dolly's, floor dolly) could be stolen overnight after I dropped off vehicle since parking was not secured and i could not lock the sliding back door. Was concerned if items were taken I'd be charged for them.

This location was very convenient and easy to drive to. Glen was very helpful and friendly. I encourage customers to use the Online Check-in. Your key and contract are in a lockbox which opens with a supplied code.

There is sexist signage posted all over the interior of the office. The person working in the office made multiple racist statements. I was also issued the wrong truck and accused of being a sex trafficker. To be clear, I am not, I am a soldier in the US military.

When I called the 833-399-0504 number, the uhaul representative hung up on me twice and didn't provide any help. I had to enter 2 alternate contacts and the website didn't say that it would try to call the alt contact. It took way longer than it should and was extremely inconvenient. Im renting another uhaul without a representative at the location to assist me.

the mobile app is awful though!!! it was incredibly hard to get my truck and start moving since there's barely any service at this location. i think i got there a couple minutes before my pick up time and i ended up staying an extra 40 mins after my pick up time. very disappointing.

During the check in, I was asked multiple times to add another number and I added the numbers I had. Tried calling and couldn't get anyone on the phone. Then the wrong keys were placed in the lockbox so then entire check in time took30 minutes.

The entire remote 24/7 pick up was a shit show, for lack of a better word. The automated system didn't work, then we were being asked for passport information (who has that handy?!), and when we called the help line we were on hold for almost 45 minutes to no answer. THANKFULLY the gentlemen at the location (who is a 3rd party vendor, doesn't even work for U-haul) was able to cancel our original reservation after we exhausted all other avenues, made a new reservation through his system and got us on our way in literally 5 minutes. It was such a pain, unnecessary stress the morning of our move, AND it made us late to meet our movers. The only reason for the "Above Average" rating is because the attendant at the 3rd party location helped us. U-haul as a company and process would get "Poor", or zero stars if possible.

You are by far the worst customer experience in the market today, dying to be taken over by an enterprising app. I cannot understand why it's so hard to run this business and provide a quality experience for customers as so many people need it. I rented a truck from the location on Burnet which is closest to me and when I arrived, I stood in line for about 20 minutes because there is one f'in person at the counter and she's telling stories about her life to the person standing in front of her. Once I get to the counter, I'm told that my rental is at another location and they have no trucks. I go over there and the place is closed. Some guy walks out of the door and says 'we don't open till 9'. Then proceeds to tell me that I have a mobile app pickup, which I did but the app didn't work. I finally got into my truck and there were no furniture pads that I ordered. Then checking it back in after I was done was impossible. The location I had to drop it off at had no cell coverage... which isn't your fault but the asshole at the place from earlier, was no help whatsoever. I really don't ever want to order anything from Uhaul again.
