After being denied a request to refund the $30 fuel service charge by the regional manager, I spoke with uhaul corporate and they made things right to retain my business as a loyal customer. My company spends hundreds per year with uhaul and I was prepared to move our business to Penske but a friendly representative at the general customer service line did the right thing. Thank you!

My experience was so poor that I would like to request a refund. The truck bed was not only full of ice but also full of broken glass. Extremely dangerous and the staff did not care at all about it. I have photos to provide and would like to receive a refund due to such bad experience with this Uhaul location. Please and thank you for the support.

My answer to the previous question (would you recommend this location to a friend) is really MAYBE. It took me quite a bit longer than it should have to obtain my rental. While the woman assisting me was very nice, she didn't seem to really know what she was doing. Since I had booked the rental online, I expected the interaction to take all of 5 minutes... it took at least 20.

I strongly feel if you are renting to someone that is coming in from out of state. Your facility should have someone to calll and check on appointments for rentals to double check the time and make sure they can get in and out without call a customer service agent or another store.. the app you have is not a good way to do business when people are in a hurry.. I had to call another store to ask for help with the payment method.. thank God he gave me his cell number to call if I needed assistance... Robert Strada turned a complete disaster into a peaceful and stressless day for me... He need a raise and needs to train employees how to go that extra mile.. I saw him treat 2 other customers like I would want my employees to do for my company.. This guy rocks he needs to be recognized for his hard work!! Thanks

The location was fine; the U-Haul app is the piece that is problematic. What would have taken 5 minutes with a staffed location took three times as long. The only thing that redeemed this experience was the work of Jeremy and Mia to make sure I had a truck and I could pick it up on my schedule.

Though I would recommend this location, my experience with UHaul wasn't a good one. I reserved a truck online. When I went to the location my email confirmation listed (the location I wanted) they weren't there. I had to wait over an hour and twenty minutes for someone to return. Then they didn't have a record of my reservation. Uhaul had sent the confirmation to another store. Luckily the woman at the Stapleton Storage place had a truck. This entire time I was paying movers to sit at my house. I ended up having movers for an additional hour that just sat around while I waited on the location to open. I also had wanted a smaller truck and ended up having to drive a larger truck through rush hour traffic (since things got pushed back an hour and a half). I am not sure if I will use Uhaul again.

The mobile app is horrible and doesn't work. Failed for both pick-up and drop off. Luckily the HUMAN working at this location was excellent and was able to get me moving. Please get rid of the app and instead spend the money on good employees.

Train the staff better. The woman working the counter was borderline incompetent. It took me 40 minutes to get the truck and I was the second person in line. She was trying to do a million things at once and gave my truck to the people in front of me, delaying the process even longer. This lost time made the move very stressful knowing I had to get the truck back in time or be charged an additional fee. I will not be going back to this location (Stapleton Storage)

Would have been nice to complete the paperwork early (like in the morning), then pick up the keys and start the rental at a later time (like in the afternoon). I was pressed for time when I needed the rental to start.

it was good till I needed truck for 3 more days and they wanted another 120.00 bucks for 3 days that's when I found out that its 19.95 for truck and 20.00 per day for ins that my friends is crazy and that cost is so well hidden .nowhere in your contract is that info available and if it wasn't for district manager phone call I would have never found that out ether so keep that in mind the next time u rent a uhaul truck

The process was confusing. I signed up for one day and when I received my confirmation email it said my pickup was the following day. I also wanted to do an after hours pickup and the woman who worked at Stapleton Storage couldn't tell me what the process was other than to "just do it online". I could not take the chance that after hours pickup would not work so I came in before closing to pick it up. Because I was scheduled for after hours pickup she just gave me the lockbox code and told me to do the paperwork online. I went to do the paperwork after I got in the truck the website told me my paperwork to do that wouldn't be available until 6pm that night. When I went to check in at 6pm after I got home it said I couldn't do it because I wasn't at Stapleton Storage. The next day I got a call stating the reservation had been canceled. We ended up getting it figured out but... When I dropped it off the same woman who I worked with the previous day told me I just needed to drop off the key and that's it. When I told her I needed a receipt so I could could know what I was finally being charged and turn it in to my company she acted annoyed but got me a receipt. I see two issues that made this process rather unpleasant. One was the website is not very clear as to how the after hours pickup works. The second and most important was the woman who I dealt with was terrible. When I called she was obviously extremely annoyed. I called a few times and it was the same for each. When I got there she was still annoyed. Her attitude combined with the reservation made the experience terrible. I've rented from Uhaul before and the experience has always been great. In fact, the incorrect and confusing reservation issue would not have been such a big deal had the on-site customer service not been so terrible. Finally, I had two brief interactions with a couple other employees and they were fine. Thanks, Dean

Overall the crew in Pueblo was very good. The truck was ready and with the exception of dirty mirrors and windshield inside and out the truck seemed move worthy.

Great customer service, fast service. The owners are very nice. Budget truck cancelled my truck at the last minute. This owner helped get me in a truck at the last minute and took stress off my shoulders. Uhaul trucks above the others.

Reservation was supposed to be 'self pick-up'. However, Stapleton Storage did not enter this correctly into the computer and we could not access our information or the key lock box for over 45 minutes. When hiring a moving company that charges by the hour, this was very frustrating and should have never happened.

I got there to pick up my trailer, and the lady behind the counter pulled up my file and the reservations wrong. I then pulled up my reservation of my phone she told me that she didn't know she had the trailer. After we sorted that out which is, which was a 20-minute process, she insisted to know what I was hauling in the trailer.

2 people helped in renting truck. 1 failed to follow through on discrepancies in fuel at check out. Next person was rude, accusing, and did her best to make me feel like crap. Will never go back, and would never recommend anyone to use uhaul.

The facility was poorly maintained. Not only were there lights that didn't work the entire time since June, & the gates frequently were stuck open. Attitudes from staff were "who cares" "move out."

Well to start with I rented the truck for a couple days and told them I will return it a day earlier, she said that is fine I won't be charged for it. I returned the truck early like I told her before 9 like she spoke about and I was charged for 3 days. To top that off I called them about it and she told me sorry not her problem. Never using uhaul again. I tried to give them a chance after friends told me uhaul was this bad and not a good idea I didn't listen. Lesson learned. Don't waste your money people.

This location actually had good reviews which is one of the reasons I chose it and am so glad I did! Thank you!

The outside of the truck was filthy, the windshield was cracked across almost the entire windshield and there was no windshield washer fluid so when I went to clear it to see better, it only made it worse.

Reservation was not in the locations center when I arrived but the manager was very able in assisting me to obtain the truck I needed. I was in and out with the truck inside of 20 minutes.

The woman at the desk never once gave us her full attention, and spent half of our interaction on the phone. As a result, she gave me an extra dolly and 6 furniture pads, without checking that these were already in the truck. I was then double billed on my final receipt because of her inattention and error.

We dropped the truck off after hours, but the online drop off procedure takes way too long and is ridiculous in what it asks for. It took me 20 minutes to work my way through the drop off process because the website and the signs outside are not clear or helpful.

The only complaint I have is that I was told the vehicle had a full tank and that if I didn't bring it back full it would be charged $3.75 per gallon plus an additional $30 fee. Well, I only drove 11.6 miles and and figured I'd only need to put a gallon at the most to top it off. Turns out the tank wasn't full and I ended up stopping at 4 gallons and hoping the gauge would show full enough that I would get charged anything. Kind of annoying since I already had to pay for mileage on top of the daily fee.

The trailer had a faulty connection piece to hold he ball in place - per the Highway Patrol and the Manager for Western Region of Wyoming. Both came upon the accident - when the trailer can completely off the vehicle. Additionally the safety chains had not been properly attached by uhaul staff. There were no injuries but it could have been catastrophic. I was going 55 mph on a two lane highway. A guard rail stopped the trailer.

The location was clean, the truck was fine, and the employee (I think Mercedes was her name?) who was at the location Saturday 6.3 was very professional but U-haul's scheduling was AWFUL. I was sent to 6 different U-haul locations and physically drove to 3 of them each time having the truck that was reserved for me to be given away to another customer. I'm FURIOUS with U-Haul's reservation process and policies. Mercedes at 9591 E 22nd Ave was eventually able to get me a truck that was returned Saturday afternoon after having 5 trucks reserved for me rented to someone else and wasting 3 hours driving around Aurora/Denver to pick up trucks that weren't actually available. I would like a refund.
