The location was great. However, I had to call customer service en route and it was an awful experience. I waited on hold for 15 minutes to ask a simple question about how tolls work. The person who first answered heard my question and immediately transferred me with no information. I had to wait on hold for another 15 minutes to ask my question. I got an answer, but the answer did not hold true to what happened. The rep told me that there was a sensor in the truck that would allow us to go through all tollbooths just like my EZ pass transponder. However, that did not happen. Luckily we were cautious and went through a lane that had both options or else we would have been stuck in a lane unable to move because of the gate arm. Thoroughly disappointing. And the process of paying for tolls is ridiculous. $1 charge for each toll is extremely expensive, and given that there's no way to pay for it ourselves (using our transponder for example) it's quite limiting.Nathan M.
The location was closed that day due to a family emergency by the people who run it. So we tried to use the online instructions to return the rental. Oh my god, your online site is awful; it refused to recognize we were allowing location services and we wasted over an hour, going back home, loading the app, and trying again. Your people are great. Your online service is GARBAGE. Hire more people, and pay them well; that's how you can improve things for your next customer.ROBERT B.

My mom set up to rent another uhaul at this same location. But for some reason the wedsite wouldn't get us pick it up. So I had to rent another truck. And finally after an hour of waiting it let me pick up another truck.Simone F.

I spent 20 minutes trying to check in via the website. Using two different browsers, both with location lookup allowed, it failed to recognize my location. This would have been fine if there was some way for me to manually agree that I was at the correct location (with some hefty fine if I wasn't), but there was no way for me to get past step 1 of the process. So at like 12:30 am, I had to call to check in the truck. After 10 minutes of one of the more infuriating hold loops I've ever been subjected to, I got someone who said they could transfer me to the right person. I was then on hold for another half hour when the system just hung up on me. So I wrote an email directly to the rental agent, hoping they wouldn't charge me extra for something totally out of my control. All that said, one of the locations I have regularly rented from doesn't even have cell reception let alone enough signal for data. Really not sure what I would have done in that situation. Please at least fix your check-in site. Maybe also plan for the fact that not every location (or customer for that matter) is going to have ready access to it. Thanks.Michael P.

Customer service was abysmal. They did not clarify that we had to use the app to pickup the van, and then when I went to return it, after calling in advance, no one was at the location when I arrived and I once again had to use the app to return the vehicle. Poor communication and always seemed like we were bothering them with questions. Will not rent at this location again.Miream L.
Being a non-US resident made the pick-up far more difficult than was required. If we were told we would need our visa for the pick-up, we would have saved over 1.5 hours. Please keep policies for international drivers more front and centre!Mukund P.

Make it very clear from the beginning that if people are using phone check in, they should download the app and that it likely won't work from a browser window. Tell the individuals working at the location, make it clear on the website. The call representative I finally spoke to said he gets many calls a day about the problem. It would've saved me 45 minutes of hanging out alone in a dark parking lot trying to figure it out and being on hold.Rachel T.
