When I was phoned and given a different pickup location I was not told to download the app to pick up. I was 2.5 hours late getting the truck which I had to pay for an extra day.

Joseph CThe only thing is the truck had no cruise control and when moving to another state, that is really hard on your legs and much safer when you can set your speed. The other thing is there no way to charge your phone. NO usb ports. Sounded as if the lifters were starting to stick in the engine as well, so that was a little nerving. Also, there was not contact with me during my 3 day rental to inform me where they had me scheduled to drop off the truck no longer excepted drop offs. Thank GOD someone was there to tell me where to take it as I had no internet service in that area and it was out in the sticks...so easy to get lost. I finally made it but those things are important for future choices on who to rent moving trucks from or recommendations. The people I dealt with were all helpful and did their job well. Other than all of that it was fine. Thank you.
Dianne FCouldn't get app to work on phone so trying to return that morning was a problem. Customer service tried to help but easier to pay the convenience fee as business was closed. Overall everything was top notch.

JAMES Oforgot to bring back 1 of the blankets that was rented when returning the truck, guy at the place said to bring it back whenever was convenient (ending up bringing it back the same day). after all was said and done still got a message on my phone saying that i still owed uhual fees for dont know what. so just going to assume that uhual wants even more from me than the 3.5k they already got. if so they can suck on my hairy taint. everything else was fine. (uhaul has already been paid in full, if you want more money from me then come and take it)

Ronald GStarting pick up process should be easier. Location was switched by provider, had to call to initiate pick up process using the app/website. This should be simpler. Seems to be high cost mileage rate which makes me much less likely to ever rent again. Spikes is a great location and our previous rental experience was much better than this recent one.

Richard CStressed over pickup on the phone since it was freezing out and we had to call because the key was in the wrong box. We called and that was nice they gave us a different box for the key. Bringing it back again stressful since mileage was wrong on their end . Called again and on hold but they managed to fix that. I’d do it again but hopefully while they are open

Peggy WThe furniture pads I reserved were not available at the time of my rental. I reported this immediately, and never got a response. I reported this again at my equipment return, and never got a response. I was billed for the pads yesterday, replied to the representative that sent my bill, and never got a response. Worst U-Haul experience ever.
Eric CHave the company over ensure the vehicles are good to go, I had a bad experience with my first time use, the location was good, the man who helped me was very helpful but the truck itself broke down on me and when maintenance came out for roadside assistance I was left without the vehicle until roughly 1100 the next day and it put me way behind schedule for moving. When the rear brakes went out on my truck I was informed I would be able to get a replacement but not until 0900 the next morning and even then the location I was sent to was closed until 1100. From there my wife and I had to contact other U-Haul shops to get assistance because the customer service we called couldn’t assist us. Over all I had a bad experience and I am unsure if I will ever use or recommend U-Haul because of my experience. It was very frustrating.
