The U-haul app needs a major revamp. When returning the truck, the app did not respond at all. Spent 20mins trying to figure it out while calling customer care. Not the most seamless procedure.

I selected an ‘over the counter’ pickup when I booked a van rental on the U-Haul website. I did this because I didn’t want to complete a pickup online. I recently experienced a serious hack incident and want to minimize my online ‘footprint’ When I got to the location it was closed! No staff were in sight. I phoned the company involved and their only response was to tell me the keys were in the back of the van so I had to download the U-Haul app and complete the pickup online! I called U-Haul’s customer service line. Their advice was to do the same or they could find another van at another location! At no point did anyone apologize that I did not get the ‘over the counter’ pickup that I’d requested! I needed the van urgently so I had no choice but to provide my personal details online and complete the pick up online. U-Haul should not offer an ‘over the counter’ pickup if it is not, in fact, available!! I am one very dissatisfied customer, who is unlikely to return for future business!!

Truck was full of melted chocolate ega and not swept out. The cab absolutely stunk and made my son who was driving want to vomit. The whole thing was more bookings fault as we were to get a cart and blankets in the rental. I booked ahead for these things and the booking made a mistake not knowing it was closed on the Monday for stat Canada Day holiday. I was sent to this location. Not far but it took us over an hour to deal with the phone to change the location and find a truck for 24/7 pick up and then they wanted it back for The original time out time frame. I was very agitated by the whole process as I bad people waiting to help and they had places to be after as well. All and all not a great experience for the 24/7 pickup

There was nobody at the location to help us. It took more than 20 minutes for somebody to reply to us just to say that we should do everything online. The truck was dirty and the parking brake was broken. Besides that, the air pressure of all tires were flat and the truck was with a low fuel level. Horrible experience.

This location was indicated by the reps as open however, it was closed. This delayed our move by 2-hours. Not satisfied.

The store would not let us is and told us to check in online and give us a code which it never did. We then had to call the owner multiple times to assist us with issues such as opening the truck and after check in as no information was provided. The gentleman was rude, short and made the pick up process very difficult. This also cut into almost an hour of our pick up time. I would NOT rent from here again

I don't think this rental office could do any better! I called to see availability. And in 30 minutes he had me behind the wheel of what I required. That's service.

I ordered 1/2 dozen of furniture clothes, there was none in the truck. I still got charged for it. Also, the place of the store and the truck is far away from each other. It took 15 mins to find the store from where the teuck was parked for pick up.

The location is paperless which is environmentally friendly but their needs to be a working internet that doesn't delay getting you vehicle for over a half an hour . On drop off it was the same , representative wasn’t there , argumentative when requesting a copy of the bill and took almost an hour to drop off the vehicle . With such difficulty we would NOT rent from this uhaul location ever again . Being late on a moving day which is already difficult is unacceptable when it happens st both ends of the day ! We hope thF other customers aren’t treated this way . There are other rental companies ….

I felt unsafe dropping the vehicle back off after done. There was an unknown person there watching me drop it off and was on the phone I believe trying to book the uhaul for a rental. It made me very nervous that a uhaul representative was not onsite to monitor the transaction and ensure that person did not interfere with the vehicle I was returning in a way that I may be held accountable for. I am a single female and the situation and unmonitored location made me feel unsafe. I will not be using the mobile pickup again as I didn’t realize it would be a completely unsupervised site and not just a no-contact or curbside pickup type exchange.

Charged $206 for 2 hours?? Gas tank was at 1/4 tank I drove 11 km / 7 miles and was charged a $30 fuel service fee and $30 for fuel. $30.66 for 14L is $2.19 per litre. I’ve never been charged these fees using this service. $200 for 2 hours is insane

The place where this truck is being kept was pure ice. I fell multiple times and the truck could not get up the hill due to the ice. The truck was dirty and the back was frozen shut. I contacted Uhaul, who said this is an issue with the property it is kept on. However, I told them it could be a liability as their property is being stored at this location.

Well when you give a receipt for $101 and then check your visa and you actually took $122. This does not sit well. Your receipt authorizes what you say your taking. I suggest you put the rest of the money back.

Had scheduled a 10am pickup, but dealer did not arrive until 10:45. Equipment was placed on my vehicle incorrectly resulting in the trailer coming off my hitch. It luckily caused minor damage to my vehicle and trailer. Would not recommend this Uhaul dealing in the future.
