I had to drive 2 hours to Columbia SC to get the truck and then 2 hours back to Charlotte NC. It pushed our move back majorly to St Augustine Fl. Where me and my family got caught in 4 fatalities accident and was on the highway for 16 hours for a 6 hour trip. Had we got the truck at 7am when it was suppose to be there we would have avoided all of that bad traffic.Kertrena A.

First, I was called the day before to change preferences on pickup location and my scheduled time was pushed up an hour. Not a big deal but then everything else was awful. The truck was over an hour late (2 hours later than the time I originally scheduled) and was filthy. I had to remove trash and a used face mask prior to driving it. Also, the drivers door had been damaged, was super hard to open and didn't shut well. I was afraid it was going to pop open while driving. I was given possession of the truck and was about to drive off when the previous renter knocked at the window and indicated he needed to put gas in it. I then had to wait for him to replace the gas before leaving. I was given a truck with just over 1/4 of a tank of gas. It was returned with 7/8 of tank. This was the first horrible experience I have ever had with UHaul. I will be very hesitant to rent again from the company and would certainly never recommend to a friend.Hope M.

This was a tiny gas station near two large Uhaul lots which confused me; only one small Uhaul sign in window, otherwise I would have thought I was dropping off at wrong location.Peter H.

I was supposed to pick up the truck at 10:30 am and the owner didn't show up to open the store until almost 12 noon on top of the equipment I requested was not inside the truck! Horrible!!Patrice B.

Location was a run down convenience store. Clerk did not know how to process the rental. I was given no paperwork. Clerk did not go over the vehicle with me. I don't understand why UHaul allows places like this when there were two UHaul dealers in the immediate area. Truck had poor brakes and steering. Worst UHaul experience I have had.JIM A.
