I was informed 2 days before pickup that a truck was unavailable at my preferred location. I was told I now had to drive half an hour away as there were no closer uhaul locations. Okay fine. I get there for a 9am pickup and there was no employee on site. There were 2 other people there waiting to get equipment as well. Finally someone showed up at 9:15 to open the location. Once I was actually seen the pickup went quickly enough.

I got to my place to load the truck, opened it to find it was very dirty with grass and straw and dirt, and was filled with dirty, grass-covered moving blankets. 23 of them to be exact. I had to unload them all, load the truck, load them back on, drive to the new place, unload them unload the truck, load them all back on to return the truck. I was covered with dirt, grass and straw. I was extremely unhappy.

The young staff member was not trained (not his fault as he was clearly new)and had a terrible time getting the system to work. There was another customer who had been there for an hour prior to me arriving. When I got there, I was there for an hour. They were not able to use the reservation and had to start a new one. The information was not put in the system correctly and while in the middle of moving they called and changed my drop off location to place 30 miles from where I wanted it. I had to call the customer service line multiple times to get credit for miles that were promised to me, and to get the drop off location switched BACK to where I selected.

I will not ever recommend this U-Haul location. Very very poor customer service coming most especially from the Manager. He was rude from the moment I called in to confirm my reservation that's was transferred to this U-Haul location!

I have rented from Uhaul several times. This was awful. The guaranteed reservation for the tow dolly was a joke. The first email confirmation sent me to a dealer several miles away, only to be told by the clerk that it was gone and I'd have to get it from another dealer who ended up being nearly 30 miles away. When I arrived at the second Uhaul location i found a small muddy lot with no one around. Finely a young man came out of a garden type shed and waved me over. I said I was there to pick up the tow dolly. He said it was reserved by someone else, but since I was there and they weren't I could have it. He then proceeded to attempt to complete the paperwork. He had really no idea how to do it. He didn't even know how to log onto the computer. He had to walk to the gas station to ask a question a couple times and was on the phone getting guidance for the entire time. I waited 40 minutes for him to complete the paperwork. I was the only customer there. He gave me the paper contract finely. I signed a copy and he said keep it. I told him don't you need the signed copy? He said he didn't really care one way or the other and said I could go. It was raining and he didn't help hook up the tow dolly or check the trailer lights or anything. I have a disability and needed help, but had to do it all myself. He offered no instruction about how to use it safely either. When I returned the tow dolly there was no one there again. It was raining and I had to unhook it myself. When I was driving away a different young man asked me my name from the same shed and said I could go. Untrained workers, no service, muddy lot, no help, 60 miles out of the way, nearly 3 hours of time due to this poorly run location. Its too bad the guaranteed reservation didnt work as promised. It seems the equipment goes to whom is standing in the door, not the one it's promised too... You have some work to do to win me back as a customer.

Iv'e used Uhaul many times in my life but this locations is far the worst experience to be had . The equipment is often dirty and the younger employees that seem to run the operations have absolutely no idea how to provide any kind of meaningful customer service. A ho-hum sarcastic attitude, confrontational and lazy demeanor and employees that couldn't give two s**** about their effort, presentation or your needs as a customer. Car wash attached is no different. The gas station run by the owners is the only saving grace. This can be a good location but the staff needs immediate training on how to interact with customers.

No fault of the location, but I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a Kent, WA pick up. The Friday night before my Saturday pickup they contacted me that I would have to go an hour south to get the truck. What's the point of a reservation system if the truck can't be picked up within a reasonable distance away. Also a Friday night change to make a Saturday morning pick up doesn't allow flexibility on changing times for hired movers, etc. as it was after business hours.

There is no office on site, where the equipment is, so they need a sign there that tells where to find the guy in charge of handling the transaction, or a number to call.

The truck had very small pieces of wood and wood dust, which I cleaned the walls and floor, my truck was rented under another name other than my own, I needed a larger truck instead of the truck I was directed to rent, I received harassing call to bring the truck back because of a problem that originated from there office and another employee, I brought the truck back the same day and was told I had the truck for two days and I was supposed to be charged for two days but was given a break, My card was charged the first day on the 19th then again on the 21st. I have never experienced anything like this....ever

My appointment was given away to another customer at 11 am. I was overcharged twice. The agent said that a reservation guarantee was to take effect after the truck return, only to be overcharged again causing my account to overdraft. Please fix this.

This is not regarding your Speed E Mart store. I made a reservation for your Rainier Valley location over the phone and it shows on my Uhaul account as Speed E Mart in Steilacoom, WA for a date in August of 2015. Obviously this is wrong since it is 2017 and Rainier Valley is no where near Steilacoom. I called your Rainier Valley store to get my reservation figured out and she forwarded my call to "scheduling" because she couldn't figure it out. I also needed to see why my confirmation was not coming through to email and the person I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. Saying to me that she doesn't have time to sit on the phone with me while I figure out my email is not acceptable. My email is not the problem. You obviously are having issues with your system and it would be great if your staff would learn how to be courteous and helpful. I spend a lot of money with you guys and this is just ridiculous. If I could give you zero stars I would. I still have no idea if my reservation is correct. I'm supposed to show up at your facility and hope that the moving truck is there because your scheduling department can't be bothered? This is really poor service.

When I agreed to a larger truck because the size I needed was not available at this location, an increase in cost was not mentioned. The mileage was wrong too. I admit I neglected to check the mileage when I got in the truck as I was fuming about the additional cost. However, I did not drive anywhere 12/13 miles. At the most 6. I have used u-haul for personal and work purposes many times over 25 years and never had the lousy experience I had yesterday

Very easy drop-off, big lot to park truck.

There was only one person working, who also had to operate the car washing service they had. This location is independently contracted, and the boy who helped get my materials ready was not properly trained on how to get the trailer attached to the trucks. The parking lot was also a dusty, gravel-paved road with random debris on the perimeter.

Took almost two hours to get my rental truck due to the computer system, the truck was the worst vehicle i have ever drove, the brakes did not work, check engine light was on, parking break did not work, pulled to the right made horrible sounds when pressing the gas pedal, gas gauge was broken. Overall the truck was horrible and took a long time to actually get the rental and on tje road. Was not satisfied what so ever.

I was charged for TWO days when I was only gone for about 4 hours because I "was late" when I wasn't even given a time to be back by, OR told I was going to be double charged for not being back. When I mentioned this to the guy, he told me there was nothing he could do about it. Poor customer service, and they stole from me. Would never EVER go to them again or recommence to anyone.

Confirm that the equipment the customer ordered is actually available at that location. I ordered a furniture dolly and 20 furniture pads. They had some furniture pads but not what I ordered and they said they never have a furniture dolly. They did have a utility dolly so everything worked out anywY

Trucks break down and I understand that, but I was on a time limit for the movers to move my things and was not able to meet that timeline. Being 26 weeks pregnant moving with 3 children and only having my husband left to help us move our home due to the truck breaking down and then having to scramble around searching for another truck to borrow was horrible and overly stressful. The silver lining was the kid working at the Uhale stand, although very young and I believe employed with the 76 gas station and not U-hale? He did try to attempt to make things a little more right and try to help us stream line this process by calling U-hale for us.

The worst service ever, the guy rented our uhaul i reserved to someone else and sent us to another location. The guy who helped us had the worst service ever, rented us the wrong truck then on oyr contract then preceed to try to xharge us for a fulk tank when the car didnt have a quarter tank. The service was poor. The attendant was also running the car wash and we had to wait for him to wash cars before he rented us the truck we'd reserved. The truck and garbage inside, the primary brake warning light on the dash stayed on, the truck had all kinds of funny noises and the it sounded like the tires on the passenger rear were rubbing whenever we went around a corner. Very poorly maintained!
