Lights were not operational on the trailer and no way to repair. Stephanie was polite and offered to reimburse. I needed a trailer. Was directed to a nearby UHaul location to fix the light problem. When we arrived at 10am, the establishment was not open. I called and the responder informed me they would be there in ten minutes. When they arrived, they informed me that the truck I reserved was had not been returned. They offered a larger truck for the same price. When we inspected it, there was a padlock on the rear rollup door. The attendant was going to unlock it but never did. Therre wasn't any review of the charges or any paperwork, I was told it would be e-mailed to me. After leaving the site I remembered that the lock was still on the door so I returned to the site to have it removed. The establishment was not open. I called and was informed that they had no way of removing the padlock. I was told to take it to another U-haul establishment, and they would cut the lock off. I was offered a day of free use for my trouble. When I arrived at the other U-haul establishment, I was informed that they had no way of removing the padlock. After several phone calls and threatening to return the truck one of the attendants at the other U-haul establishments retrieved a bolt cutter and I cut the lock off. After returning the truck and checking my e-mail I discovered that I was given a free day of use, but I was charged for Safe Move, which I assume is insurance that I declined when I made the reservation. I was charged for all of the miles driven on the truck even though about a third of those miles were from driving to another U-haul establishment to have the padlock removed. Overall, the whole experience was upsetting and disappointing. I think I was overcharged. This was not the location that I had requested to rent a truck from and due to the fact that the location I wanted to rent the truck from had several trucks the size that I wanted, I don't understand why I was sent to different location. The next time I need to rent a truck I will be looking into other options.ken A.

Terrible experience. Owner of franchise was noticeably high and remakes of Marijuana. She wouldn't get out of her car and made me come to her car and it smelled of marijuana. She called me 5 times prior to the pickup time asking when I was going to come because she wanted to go home. Tires were low on air, I had to immediately drive to put air in them. Truck wasn't clean. Truck only had less than 1/8 tank of gas. Owner of franchise was very unprofessional and not friendly. Worst uhaul experience I have ever hadAdam P.

The local manager (corporate) called me to complain about Ms Stephanie, which was extremely unprofessional. I had updated my rental with Ms Stephanie, but corporate had changed my destination to another location without explicitly telling me. This felt like: - a bait and switch on my rental - complaining about a franchisee to a customer, which is frankly unacceptable Uhaul is built on franchisees and their customers. Corporate should be training regional managers to respect their customers and franchisees, not bash them or harass them on the phone.Jeff H.

I was charged way more than I was to be charged. I drove 10 miles and returned the with the gas exactly where it was when I left ( I took pictures with the time) and was charged a 30 dollar gas fee plus the gas charge. I called the manager of the location and sent her the picture which she said she would fix and when the payment posted still was charged a gas charge and for gallons that were replaced. Cost more than the actual rental. Never had this problem at any other locations in the past.Rica G.
I made reservations in person at one location and did not like having to go to another location for pickup! I had a horrible experience with my move! Uhaul caused me a lot of time lost and I was paying workers. Equipment wasn't available to pick up twice. Drove around trying to find it. Sent to several locations. I prepaid a reservation. Should of never happened. Then I rented a trailer the next day and same thing happened. Then I didn't get the dolly and pads Prepaid for and then got charged an extra $100 on my card after the fact fir no reason and O have to call to find out why. Ridiculous experience.Sheri L.

My experience was terrible! The owner showed up late to the location after I had already been delayed at the first location over an hour because they didn't have the trailer I had rented. So they had sent me to this location because they were the only one in town with the correct size trailer. Then, when I showed up to pick up the trailer with my buddies truck they wouldn't let us tow it away because they wouldn't allow us to put the safety chains around the bumper or through the holes in the frame of the vehicle. Nowhere on the website did it say that they would not allow you to put the safety chains around the bumper of the vehicle. Lastly, when I was forced to upgrade to a 15 foot truck instead of a trailer they did not offer me any discount for the upgrade even though I asked (because I was now two hours behind schedule with family waiting on me who had come into town to help me move). So I was charged the full price for the upgraded 15 foot truck. The owner or the helper of the owner who checked me out and upgraded me to the 15 foot trailer was very abrasive the entire time and rude. They never apologized for the inconvenience at all.Patrick C.
