Back tires both 8 lbs low. By the time I had it loaded which was only a baby crib 1 kitchen table and boxes with glassware all 4 were low. I was told the light was on because it had 1 tire that was new. Thank God my dealer took pity. As anyone would be as a 66 year old woman I was terrified trying to get it to service center. I had men load it night before. I missed 3 hrs getting on road to SC trying to get out of Atlanta late Friday afternoon it was extremely disappointing. Called your center no answer and no return call. The van was filthy also. After 46 years of using your company never have I had a problem. This manager has totally no customer service intelligence.Kathy S.

I think the location itself was really nice and the lady who helped us was great, but the location around the building is very unsafe. A lot of homeless people wandering around.Haille W.
The truck was dirty and the OBC kept registering low pressure on the RR tire. Checked the pressure several times and no issues, but the error message remained on. Was missing the furniture dolly that was supposed to be in the front of the truck. And was unable to check-in using the app. (don't know what that was about). Overall - was very disappointing.Lance M.
When you called the place you get a answer machine,no one never called me back,I went and dropped my truck off,and had to call back equipment recovery sent me an email stating I never returned the Truck,so I called them back and a young lady who helped me,had to call another number to reach the manager.The person who had my keys never put that I returned the Truck until the manager reached the person who was suppose to do it on the 3rd of Sept.,when I actually dropped it off,and on the 6th of Sept,I get my receipt finally,but was to get it on that same day which was on the 3rd of Sept No not a happy customer and would not recommend this location.Crystallynn L.

This was the second location we had to go to that morning. Our truck was originally reserved at the location in Brookhaven on Peachtree. When we arrived, after waiting in line, we were told that they did not have a truck for us. They did not have a key for the truck we were supposed to rent. They had a key made that did not work. They found us a truck at the Buford location, so we headed over there, about 3 miles away. Had to wait again and got the truck. Very inconvenient as we had hired people to help us move who were standing around for over an hour waiting due to this situation. I assume the key situation is not uncommon. They should have more sets of backup keys available and should at least have given us a phone call to make us aware of the situation. The people at the second location were very nice.diane B.

No staff member there when I arrived. Closed sign on door. No signs about where to park truck. As I tried to get U-Haul truck checked in on my phone yesterday after 20 minutes, staff member showed up. I asked if he worked there and could help - at 4:21pm, his only answer was â€œat 4:25pmâ€ - I was shocked he treated a customer that needed help like that even though he may have been on break. Extremely rude - not using U-Haul ever again.Danielle C.

That was my worst experience ever . I had to speak to 4 agents to find the right process to pick up the truck. When we open the lock box there wasn't any key. A manager called me back to ask me to go to another location and pick up a bigger truck and gave me a credit. I finally pick up a truck 2 hours after the reserved time. This mess me up big time. I spent more money finding movers late that night because my help had to go to work at 11pm and I had to return the truck . I'm very very disappointed and I don't think I'll deal with you again in the futuremarieme N.

The cargo van had so much "play" in the steering that it was actually dangerous on the highway.I was trying to stay in the lanes between the endless amount of large trucks was it actually a challenge. Someone need to maintain that vehicle. I would not rent from here again or from U-Haul. The van was in need of a vacuum, as well... The good : the man doing the paperwork for the rental was very nice.Susan D.
I showed up at 9 am to pick up a cargo van only to learn that they didn't have one and the closest one was well over an hour away. I was forced to take a truck which was oversized for the job and drank gasoline. Good for UHAUL! I'll longer be using you for rentals. When you reserve a car/truck you expect it to be there. I was informed that UHAUL does not guarantee one will be at the location that you make a reservation? What I can guarantee is that you have lost a customer that has rented no less than 6 times in the past 18 months!Kim A.

None of the equipment I rented (Pads, Utility Dolly, Furniture Dolly) were included with the truck. Was charged anyway. Would definitely not recommend this location or Uhaul.Brent G.

The gentleman was very nice and professional my complaint was the location, the Uhaul office was in a tiny storage facility being a janky carwash behind a dumpster and along side a garbage can overflowing. I am highly disappointed being that I reserved a truck days before and confirmed a ten foot at the location of my choice, however was sent a text the day before pickup from the storage facility. My displeasure is 1) confirmation is pointless! 2) I have PTSD, one of my triggers is the unknown, unplanned and chaos, so having to go to an area of town that is undesirable and not so safe...unknown to me made me very stressed out tense the reason someone like me went online to reserve a truck at a location I felt safe at and knew well. Perhaps your company could invest in employees that can go get equipment from one location and take it to one where someone reserved it so as to not inconvience your customer. Next time I will just save and hire movers. When I rented from Uhaul never did I expect to have to go to a third party vendor for my rental.Sebrina L.

The only person onsite had no clue about how to unhook the trailer from from tow hitch. He just told me to call a Uhaul facility to get instructions and left (while telling me they were just a third party doing it for the money),Walter R.
The guy was super nice and very accommodating I accidentally left my work phone in the U-Haul truck and he called me personally and stay late and waited for me to come back and pick it up excellent excellent guy my U-Haul experience was a 10 out of 10 thank you guys so muchruss A.

No one was at the location when we arrived to pick up at our time of 11:15am. At 11:25. We did not leave from the location until 12:15 because they stated that they didn't have the truck when it was the only truck sitting on the lot. No one mentioned we would receive an email to check our truck back in after hours.Our time to return was 11:15pm. However we returned the truck 7:30pm. I received an email around that time to how to check the truck back in after hours. Since I don't check my email while I am driving I saw the email and called and left a voicemail that the truck was dropped off at 7:30pm with the gas filled back up. We dropped the keys in the key return box and the same person that rented us the truck was on top of the roof when we returned it. This was the only truck in the lot. After a week and half we got a phone call that we had not returned the truck. I let them know that I had left a voicemail that we had and that we had filled the gas back up. After tellthing them I left a voicemail it took a few days and I still never received a phone call but a final invoice. The final invoice stated we did not fill the truck back up. The location lost the truck for a week and a half (obviously drove it some) and then charged us for the gas. I have my bank statement to show that we paid for the gas and filled it back up. Since we had such the issue with saying we didn't return the truck, I didn't even go back to argue about the gas, because would have been a totally different issue. When the man called us to tell us we did return it, he was very rude with us when we informed we had and continued to think we still had the truck. Clearly this location has an issue with keeping up with their vehicles.monica M.
There were several things wrong with this pick up that I never had with previous rentals. For starters, my appointment was at 8 AM and the shop did not open until 9 so I had to sit and wait for them to open. Even the person who called to change my truck size the day before said 8 AM. When they did open, they were having computer problems (no big deal it happens). While waiting for the computer to start back, 2 other people came in to pick up their rentalâ€" only to find out that location only had one truck. They were turned away despite having a confirmed reservation like me. Finally after over an hour and a half of being in the office (10:30), I get the keys. Every other rental I have done, through Uhaul or others, I did a walk through with the person to check the van, mileage, and gas. When I asked for this the manager said â€œit wasn't neededâ€. Finally, I called the hotline to report these issues only to be told that at least I â€œwonâ€ the truck and could move. Seriously?? I may have won the truck but you lost a customer.Alexis C.
