Truck was dirty. It had a check engine light on and empty gas tank. Long wait lines, and they updated my account the night before I was meant to pick it up and it doubled the cost. Now I'm dealing with uhaul customer service to get a refund..Casey M.

The equipment i rented 1 week ahead of time was not available. I had to go find dollies and furniture pads the day of my move in because my reservation was not held up by U-haul. Not good service by U-haul.Caleb H.

When I arrived there were already 5 people waiting at the door because there was only one employee there manning both Uhaul and the storage units. It's was very frustrating to have to wait 30 minutes on a reservation that I made the night before. The location also couldn't find my reservation even though I showed them the email confirmation and everything. The location needs to be better staffed. And Uhaul needs to make sure their reservation services are accessible to themMONICA P.

For people who have moving equipment rented (like furniture dollys) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CHECK IF THEY ARE ACTUALLY AVAILABLE PRIOR TO CUSTOMER COMING TO STORE!!!!!! It is extremely frustrating and baffling to make a reservation weeks in advance only to be told when picking up your rental truck that moving equipment you reserved is not available. And no, "go to another UHAUL" is not an acceptable response. Typically people who pick up their trucks are moving immediately, we do not have time to stroll around town in a huge ass truck just to pick up a moving dolly that you failed to mention was in stock. This would literally take minutes a day to verify the stock and contact the people who have made reservation in the next few days. This isn't the only time I've had an experience like this, I will not be using UHAUL again.RICARDO R.

Had a paid in full, e-checked in reservation, reconfirmed 4x, 2 weeks in advance of cross country trip and they DID NOT HAVE THE TRUCK on pickup day. no warning. they just did not care at all. Then they over charged us for renting a van to get to a different location, 23 miles, 2 hour rental, FOR $678. bucks to pickup an acceptable replacement truck. really. uhaul. never again. No concern, no care, this must happen at uhaul all the time. not cool.STEVE H.

Aside from the truck, none of my reserved accessories were there: cart, furniture cart, or furniture pads. We lost an hour to buy these items from a store as these are necessary for a move. When calling the store, I kept being put on hold to where it was easier to just show up to talk with someone.MICHELLE C.
After I arrived I was told that the vehicle I reserved was not available and had to take a different size vehicle that did not fit my purpose. The staff did not care much about my concern. The property manager Cory Forest is the rudest and most obnoxious person ever. He doesn't possess customer service skills nor clarity of just simple questions. To ask him a question he instantly got irritated. Working in Customer Service myself I could have somewhat understood if I was being difficult but no it's was just him. Just to think a few of my friends suggested that I didn't even go there and now I understand why. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.TENORISS P.
The unit was dirty. Had it less than two hours drove 15 miles and at 3:45pm the office was closed for the second time to attempt to check in!!! Finally used the drop box during office hours. The app did not provide a confirmation! Horrible!!! Check your security tape to confirm! There were many customers stuck outside!!!ERICA J.

I had a last minute request for a truck after being stood up by the movers I hired. I had a very short window of time to have all my items moved. I walked in, in a panic, and within 10-15 mins, I was driving away in the 15' truck. Everything worked out PERFECTLY! My son also rented 2 storage units in the spot. Keep up the great work!JOSHUA H.

There was one person working. It took me 25 minutes of waiting in line to get the keys to my van that I had already reserved a week prior. This location needs to understand the difference between charging somebody's card and putting a hold on somebody's card. In total I was charged erroneously $213 for a 1 day $40 rental. In addition they need to have a better system for charging people with the extras such as dollies and pads that are not in a truck. Regardless if you bring the truck back early, if they check it in late they will charge you automatically for 2 days in addition to "charging" you up front instead of placing a hold on your card. I feel like it's a scam that they use to make extra money because most people probably don't double check their receipts!BOBBY B.
Tell people they should not even try to back a vehicle tow dolly. I learned the hard way it is not really practical even by experienced trailer-pullers. If you have to back out, take the vehicle off and relocate it, unhitch the dolly and relocate it by hand, then hitch everything back up.Douglas S.

I did reservation for phone pickup! I arrived and found my truck and went inside to get key! When I attempted to crank, there was an explosion! The furniture pads I requested were also not in the back but there was a broken truck mirror. As I was walking inside to tell them, the dude walked out and said the truck had problems, gave me another key and didn't care about any damage on new reservation or gas level. No pads were available and he assured me that he would take care of updating the info; when I got my bill, the pads had been charged to me. I called that store and was told I had to call customer service for refund which I accomplished with a second call.Hoyt G.

I got charged insurance that I told her I didn't want, the gas gage was wrong when I got in (the amount of gas they said I had) so I got charged additional for gas. I definitely will ask for paper copies of beginning and ending receipts to double check things are right. Not having this they are able to rip me off. Not happyMARY M.

The vehicles at all uhaul locations are not well maintained; always some light on on the dash and terribly maintained transmissions that makes the vehicles jerk violently. I've had the same experience from multiple uhauls locations; luckily it's a very short hauling solution ...couldn't imagine how nerve wrecking it would be to have to drive long distances in any of these vehicles.MONICA L.
The U-haul I rented was advertised for $19.99. I reserved it for 4 hours and stated I would only go 50 miles. I stayed within those parameters. When I received the receipt for service, the invoice was for $108. Advertising this U-haul for $19.99 and then charging me $108 should be illegal.DEBORAH C.
Staff refused to change to either of two vans in better condition merely because they did not want to go through the trouble of entering change on the system. Also don't care for practice of not giving customers printed receipt at the time of return (before closing hours). I was told the storage company employees are not U-Haul employees therefore don't use their printer for U-Haul receipts.KEITH P.
