Make sure the tires are aired up to the correct psi. I had to air up the tires to the 65 psi spec because they were at 42 psi and was making my truck work harder and use more gas than it should have. Just fixing the tire pressure my truck went from 17.5 mpg to 21.3 mpg.

CHRISTINA PI rented this car dolly for 2 days was done with it 3 hours before the first days time expired and had it back where I picked it up which was a Sunday thought I would be reimbursed for the 2nd day which is the way most rental places do it feel like I was ripped off $ 44.95

Craig FWhat I would do to improve service at this location would be have the representative of your company do a walk around with their customer, right down the odometer reading and when it's checked in make sure he writes down the right gas mileage and gas reading. I should have waited and checked it in with him but he wanted me to have it back early because he said he had another customer. And I think it's sort of a scam that he's pulling having me bring it back before we do it together and check in because I brought back more gas than what was in it when I got it. There is no way I put that much mileage on it I have plenty of witnesses that tell me what a jerk and unprofessional businessman the location is. I should have asked around before I run it from them. I have rented several times from the Freeport Illinois dealership with absolutely no problems. I'd suggest better training consequences when agent lies and listen to your customers because they we aren't always wrong I was always taught in business to listen to your customers first well I hope you do the same U-Haul

RITA AThis is myself and my family's third trailer rental from South Side Service and while it's actually a longer drive for me than several other U-Haul locations, the service level makes it worth the extra travel. I HIGHLY recommend South Side Service for anyone needing a U-Haul rental.

BRIAN PThis is not an issue with the location but a flaw in the check-in process, that when I used my laptop it would only let me upload a file but take a photo of the front of my license and then it would not approve me - even with customer service. Luckily I was able to log in with my phone and raid a photo. But it was a 30- minute process and costumer service's only solution was to wait until the location was open. Not a solution. My movers were en route. There were multiple issues with your platform and ability to resolve issues.

FRANK MI returned the truck on a holiday weekend and the owner was out of town till the 8th. I rented the truck on September 3rd and returned on September 4th. I didn't have it set up on my phone on how to return the truck for after hours, so I called uhaul and was passed to various people that did absolutely nothing but put me on hold. The only way this got this resolved was through a email.
BURGESS YYou can work better to review reservations with the customer and properly enter the request from the customer into the system. The reservation was completely incorrect, and I was never notified of the changes. Then once I received confirmation of my incorrect reservation I called and was given the run around. Unapologetically they made me drive to this Lan ark location where the man was actually helpful however was still incapable of getting my reservation correct and it took almost an hour to get everything squared away. Overall the process was horrible and I will not be recommending uhaul to anyone moving. Charles - needs to work on his listening skills in order for this to not happen again in the future.
