1. Truck only had enough gas to go 7 miles - luckily there was a gas station right across the street - how do you gauge how much fuel to have it on return?? Why is it not FULL at p/u FULL at return?? 2. Windshield was FILTHY and washer reservoir was totally empty. 3. Out of alignment - steering wheel was off a 1/4 of the way. It is convenient having 3rd party locations but who's responsible for maintenance of the vehicles?
Rhonda GThe app crashed 5 times for pick up. I called the U-Haul # and was disconnected 2 times before finally someone stayed on the line to help me. "Timing out" was an issue. The alignment on the truck was significantly off as well as a tire was very unbalanced. Lastly, the last part of the return process was about the whether the truck would need cleaning. It indicated that there could be extra fees if the truck needed cleaning. GIVEN THAT THE PARKING LOT WHERE I PICKED UP THE TRUCK WAS A GIANT QUAGMIRE OF MUD, SAND AND LEAVES; IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP THE VEHICLE FROM GETTING MUD IN IT!! i WILL FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL IF I GET CHARGED A CLEANING FEE.

Bill MWhile the equipment was clean, the business we got it from was not. The location also doubles as a vehicle repair shop and they sell used vehicles which you could certainly tell when you walk in. The floor and chairs were stained and gross. Either way, they did a decent job assisting us but had system issues due to Ace Hardware who tried to help us after the window incident.

Christopher RI was super upset that I had reserved a 10 ft vehicle and then was told there were no vehicles and would have to go to Topeka. The rep I talked to was nasty and unkind. I’m moving for the first time for a job and will never use Uhaul again after this experience. After calling back a few hours later I was able to obtain a 20 ft vehicle in MHK. This was wayyyy too big but thankfully boyfriend could drive it.

J CThe first part of my rental for uhaul went smoothly. Everything was explained customer service was amazing. I only had the uhaul for roughly an hour. When I dropped it off the gentleman that was there was not as friendly. He was a little too frank and very short. I am not experienced in the process of using uhauls so I'm ignorant on the process. I was not met with friendliness and or willingness to help me understand. It was unwelcoming and even walked off from me while I was still in the office confused on the charging and milage part as I drove less miles than quoted. I was simply asking about the difference and how that is determined since I've never done that before. Just be nice to people. Help them understand no need to be hostile. We all go through things. Just some feedback.

BRIAN KUhaul charged us more when we got to the 1st place, then kept getting text and emails over charges. Then when we dropped off the uhaul they charged us even more. Our 1st charge was supposed to be 344.00 for everything. Then 389.00 then they added 30.00 more and our pick up and drop off was same we even dropped off uhaul off early. So I'd like the extra charges back! I will never want to use their service again. Thank you for your time

ashton gGuy running the authorized dealer on Yuma Street is rude and unprofessional. We showed up and he was talking on his personal phone about medical issues. Stood around and waited 10-15 minutes while he carried on his phone conversation. After that we signed our paperwork. The other guy working was super sweet and went over how to drive the truck and previous damages and sent us off. Fast forward to 11am on Friday we called asking if we can drop off earlier and if so would we get some kind of reimbursement since we did not use the entire time we reserved it for. Same original guy got very cocky and rude to me on the phone. Saying uhaul charges by day not by hours. (Which I don’t understand because you can reserve it by hourly on the uhaul app) Called customer service and they were very polite and told me the same thing but weren’t rude about it. We waited until the shop on Yuma street closed to do the drop off so we didn’t have to deal with the man. So unprofessional and will never rent from this place again. Will take our business elsewhere. Also, poorly designed app on the “drop off screen” it kept showing a different location for drop off so had we not paid attention we would’ve been charged taking it to the location the app said.

BRADLEY SThere should be a better process to receive the products we order online with our rental truck. I bought a box for a mirror online, but in our rush to pick up our truck, none of us (me, my partner, and the rental guy) remembered to grab the box before we left.
