Parking lot was all mud and not lit at all. Potentially very dangerous. Trucks were left all over and made it difficult to safely drive my truck off the lot. Location doubles as a gas station, but was closed before 8pm, causing me to incur fees because I couldn't put gas back in the truck before returning it. Very poor experience.

No dollies available even though I put one on the order. Also took over an hr for mobile pick up to work. The order was completely incorrect. I placed the order online and it was completely changed when arriving to the place to pick up the truck.

The owner was not there to sign off for the trailer pick up, was nearly an hour late and only arrived because I had to text his taxi service. Spent over an hour in total waiting and going back and forth on my trailer size even though my reservation was clear. Would not recommend this location

When going through the mobile pick-up, I spoke with Carlos and he was incredibly rude to me and did not explain that he only needed one of the options and not all. i repeatedly tried to explain that ii did not have a passport or a job for him to call and he refused to accept that and told me he still needed them. he caused me to have an anxiety attack and then was extremely rude to my husband and friend on the phone when he called them. He needs to be retrained immediately if he is going to work customer service.

I reserved a location 7 miles from my home so I could ride my bike to pick up the truck. At the last minute the location was changed and I had to take and $80 1.5 hour Lyft ride and spend more on gas to get the truck to my home.

Owners are very rude hand you the keys and tell you to find the truck in the lot they don't inspect before or after. They couldn't give me my cost at drop off and didn't report my return until the next day

I tried to do the no-contact check in, and they put the incorrect vehicle key in the lock boxes, which were not labeled with numbers. The inside office of this business is extremely dirty, and when I came in to get the correct key, the man doubted me at first and then laughed when he realized their mistake. They also park the vehicles extremely close together and I was nervous about trying to maneuver the truck out of the lot. The location was convenient, but that's the best thing I can say about them.

Customer service was disgusting place so stinky dog inside of store, and the van was supposed to be clean and sanitized but was so dirty and they charge me for afther hours and I returned it on time 3 hours early

I didn't know that you charge for gas mileage and I put back more gas that was in it previously. I went to Home Depot to pick up some things and it would have cost me the same to just have it delivered to my house. I was charged $33.00 for gas which I already replenished

Had to ask to have somebody come out to verify that I was dropping off a tow Dolly. the lady said " Just put it over there in the lot next door we'll check it out later. She couldn't even see where I was parked and she could not see I was actually dropping off a tow dolly and this is why I had to have somebody come out to verify it

The app gave me a lot of difficulty at this location. I had to try several times to upload the final pictures and eventually could only do it on the internet browser, not the app. I think the internet/phone service there isn't adequate.

Sue the operator of this location was great. She was so professional in the way she handle me. Unlike the u haul place at 161 Southbridge Rd N Oxford. I would highly recommend Sue to anyone that needed to rent.one.

I had originally scheduled to pick up a van in Brookfield, MA. Instead I had to pick up in Southbridge, MA. Which at least added over 20 miles to the average. Sure okay, just $20 more, but it was really out of the way for me and my boyfriend on a stressful move day already. The place to pick it up was easy to find, but it was bumpy and dirt. No pavement. It was also a tight parking area so that already just is more stressful. Everything worked out, just it was more stressful than it needed to be in my opinion.

The guy who ran the place didn't seem to want to and actively seemed uninformed about my order and annoyed when I asked for help. He mentioned that I should have received a key code for my order so I could just get my own truck keys and not be a bother. When I was confused about that unexpected process he seemed irate. He punched in a new order for me, ignoring my previous one, and didn't include anything else I asked for in my order. My advice is go to an actual U-Haul place for your trucks.

The rental experience went well and I was pleased. The only thing I found that I would change is that I could not figure out if the van had a working odometer so I could track the actual miles I drove vs what I was charged for.

Horrible customer service by some guy name Josh H from the regional dispatch team. If thats his real name and team as he hesitated before telling me. Straight up called me a lair and also told me there was no equipment available. I ended up finding a trailer myself. Never trust the people who call you from +14135352432. Never again.

two days before our scheduled pickup I called all three levels of contact: the local pickup point, the regional center with a regional area code, and the 800 number to inform them of a time change in our plans. All said "fine, it's logged. No problem." We showed up: they had given away our rental. No acknowledgement, no fix to the problem. Astounding.

I called to tell them that I could be up to 45min late picking up my truck. My reservation was from 11:30am-3:30pm. I was told that I would have to return the truck by 2:30pm because they overbooked the truck to another person. I could not get the tuck back by the new time, and they charged me for a full second rental. This is a breach of contract because my original reservation was not honored. I should not have to pay for a second reservation.

I reserved a trailer and was notified less than 24 hours before my reservation regarding how it wasn't available. When someone makes a reservation it “reserves” a product so they can have it garnered on a certain date. I spoke with customer service snd they didn't help or have any care for the issue that was put on to me that wasn't my fault. On top of this they couldn't find any available trailers for me as a replacement. Then I asked if they could get me a truck and they charged me double and I had to call to fix the price because they were charging me for a location I wasn't moving from. Absolutely horrible experience where I had to jump through hoops and sit on the phone for over two hours to resolve this snd it wasn't even resolved in the end as I had to spend extra money than I intended to move my things. I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone after this experience.

The Southbridge location manager, a woman was very helpful when I hitched up. Her cohort, a man was extremely rude when I returned the trailer. He refused to help me unhitch or move it. Finally is helper who was working on a truck repair helped me, It was extremely poor service.
