The gas amount was off, but the coordinator took care of it quickly and professionally.

ALLISON LWhen we picked up trailer we hook it up to hitch, but wiring was broken no pins to plug into my truck . No other trailers, so we took it down back roads to tractor supply and bought an adapter and extension wiring, a additional $40 . All this made us very late starting. I call location he was thankful for me telling him, but no refund.
Bobie BWe arrived at 9 am to pick up the truck, but the staff member on site did not know how to process U-Haul renters. We had to complete our rental over the phone and we did not leave with the truck until 9:40. The staff member on site indicated to us that she did not work there, but was just helping out a friend. I was not comfortable giving out my credit card number to someone I did not know over the phone, however, this was a business rental for a scheduled office move and we needed the truck so we continued with the rental.

jim oThe truck was not available. We had to go to another location to get it. Store clerk said they have barely enough staff to run the desk. They don’t move trucks around. Thankfully there was a truck near by but I was charged extra mileage for it. I reserved my truck 2 weeks in advance. Poor service

tony sIt wasn't the location it was the people we talked to that wasn't no good. Why should people go far from there home to get a uhaul truck? No good! Not just that my daughter in law called 2 weeks in advance to hold a truck for her and your company couldn't even do that for her. So no in CT the uhaul companies need to do better because ya not good at all with renting out uhaul trucks and sending people to location that there's no uhaul trucks at. Had us running around CT for no reason. This company should get there act right in CT because ya horrible out there. So you know uhaul in CT not all there you can't even get nothing right out there. Yes I'm an upset set customer with you guys in CT. Thanks for your services but we won't be needing them no more.

Nora SThe process of Uhaul setting up reservations is poor. We received a text the night before pickup that our truck would be ready 40 miles away from our requested site in Andover, Ct. ... After a few phone calls we were able to get a smaller truck 12 miles away. Very stressful and disappointing.
ROGER PUHaul relies upon deception. The website declares a total amount due at counter, but upon arrival at the counter, the bill adds on taxes and surcharges. UHaul provides no warning about this by not even sending out a reservation that lists charges. No other vehicle rental company employs such a shady business practice. On top of this, UHaul has outrageous prices, a result of having its particular market niche. Go with Hertz or Pennske in South Windham instead.

WILLIAM Ka 26 foot truck was reserved for a 6-28 move on 6-17 was assured it would be Columbia ct for pick up . Received a call from U-Haul @ 10am the 28th informing that there was not 26 footer available in the state of ct. Last minute Budget rental truck saved me. I will never do business w/u again
john fI tried to rent this unit through the Plainfield CT office but was not available. While satisfied with service I am disappointed that I could not take advantage of a more local franchise
Gary BPer registering online did not decrease the time it took to pick up vehicle at all, and the mileage allotted for the one way trip did not cover the distance expected at all.
