My reservations were for 5 o’clock I didn’t get my vehicle until almost 6 o’clock and I still had to bring it back the same exact time 11:00 PM When I made reservations for my vehicle it’s stated that ifif you didn’t receive your courtesy call the day before and if your vehicle was not ready when u arrived U will receive $50 refunded back to you so hopefully I will get that $50 refund

The attendant was very prompt and efficient, and the truck was clean and running fine. The office was inside a convenience store, which was unexpected. Maybe some better signs to say where to go would be helpful. There was a lack of seating, but that's understandable considering it is foremost a store.

Had to travel to 3 different locations to pick up my confirmed reservation that wasn't a the confirmed site

Do not change reservations from In-person at actual U-Haul dealers to mobile at locations with no real people to be found. Horrible pickup experience which took an hour longer than it should have. And before a long drive from Maryland to Massachusetts, an hour is hugely significant.

Two texts were received the night before pickup with conflicting pickup locations, neither at my requested pickup location and both at the incorrect time (30 minutes AFTER movers were to arrive to load a U-Haul I didn't have). Neither phone number provided answered when called immediately after the text. The next morning, 1 # said "I have no idea why you got that text. I don't even have the truck you need." The other never picked up. Get on hold with 1-800-Go-U-Haul for 30 minutes to be instructed to download the app, which would "Give [me] step-by-step instructions to pick up a U-Haul immediately." App downloaded, account managed, address acquired. Go to the address, and there's absolutely nobody there. App provides no further instruction whatsoever, just the address. Get back on hold with 1-800-Go-U-Haul. Eventually get a keycode to access truck key. Truck does not have the (absolutely essential) equipment I requested several weeks prior (and paid for). Get back on hold with 1-800-Go-U-Haul. Eventually given another destination to drive to at which the equipment can be picked up. New location was even further away from home, and entirely unfamiliar with my situation. Needless to say, we did not get home in time for the movers. Terrible experience all around.

I was charged more for the truck than my my online reservation confirmation ($79 vs $69) and given 12 less miles from this location for a one way move (30 vs 42 miles). This resulted in me paying an extra 10 dollars for the rental and an extra $3.46 for mileage. In sum, I was charged an extra $13.46 for the rental than the online agreement. This had nothing to do with the man who gave me the keys to the truck (he was very kind and tried to be very helpful), it had to do with the man I spoke with over the phone while I was at the store picking up the truck who took my CC# and charged me the extra fees.
