The pick up location is sketchy on the side of a small corner store. If pick up had been at night/after dark, I would not have felt comfortable picking up my UHaul there. I know the area pretty well, and this corner store is frequently robbed and held up at gunpoint. This corner store sells drug paraphernalia and alcohol, so it does not attract the most wholesome crowd. It is also directly next to a homeless encampment, and I had a homeless man yelling at me from the woods behind the store while I was trying to unlock the box on the side of the building. The lock and the box were easy to find and decode with the instructions on the app, but the location of this pick-up box is just one of the sketchiest places you could find in Concord, a pretty safe city. I would suggest moving this location somewhere else in Concord because as a single female trying to pick-up my UHaul, I would not have felt safe if I did not have my dad with me.

All I did was drop the truck here so you'd think there wouldn't be much to go wrong, but when I returned the truck I got an e-bill for $65 for not refilling the tank enough. Luckily I had taken a photo of the dash when I left the truck showing that there was significantly more fuel in the truck than there was when I picked it up, but come on people. I shouldn't need to complain to you about a ridiculous bill and then send a picture proving that I'm not lying to you in order to not be overcharged. Thankfully I took that picture or I would've had to eat that cost.
