Everything was great. I was able to get a UHUAL at the last minute. Mrs.Freddy was extremely respectful and knowledgeable of how many miles I would probably use. Store was clean and tidy. Smelt great. Felt like a family environment

What made the difference for me was the accountability the Area Mgr took because when I arrived to get the Uhaul it was before the location opened and I was guided to use the app to complete my rental reservation and get the truck. The app did not work properly and provide the process to rent the Uhaul at my designated time.. The Area Mgr called me directly and apologized for the inconvenience and proceeded to upgrade my truck and give me the $29.95 price for it. I really appreciate the time he took to resolve my issues with my rental and make the process smooth

Everything was almost perfect, except the rep fail to disclosed that there was a mileage limit and charge per mile after that limit. Although customers technically have a contract with the details, not every customer has the time these days to sit down and read through every word for very important information such as the mileage limit, when it literally takes a few seconds for a representative to disclose that information. The sad thing is, my wife and I would have traveled the same amount of miles regardless, because it was a military move, but at least we wouldn’t have been caught off guard with a significant additional charge.

The people who manage it need lessons in communication. I was told to go to the trucks to see if the individual was there because the vehicle had just been returned and they weren’t. The lady kept calling his phone and he wasn’t answering and when he finally did he very nonchalantly said “I’m right outside.” I was told I was being given a $14 credit to put gas in the truck and it needed to be over 1/4 because the person before me didn’t bring it back with 1/4 in it. The truck itself in my opinion was unsafe and I expressed as much. The check engine light was on the WHOLE time. When I checked in I mentioned it and the lady said “the mechanic said if the gas cap isn’t on fully it will stay on.” The gas cap wasn’t even attached to vehicle - had I not been paying attention it would have went flying. The seats were ripped up as well as the roof upholstery was a mess. The visor on the driver side didn’t even stay up. It fell down multiple times. Breaking was also nerve wracking as every time I did the vehicle shook a lot. I decided to only do one thing and take it back so I didn’t even finish everything I needed to.

Just had issues with truck pickup. Didn’t know I had to use truck share and I had a 7 am pickup and they confirmed on the phone with me. I show up that morning and no one was there and they didn’t open till 10 and the manager didn’t pick up when I called. I was disappointed that uhaul didn’t offer to discount my hitch after the whole 2 day ordeal. I was very reasonable but you all didn’t offer any discount on my order. I hope you all reach out to refund a bit of my order out of good will since you all messed me up

Truck's interior wasn't cleaned. The gas stated to be in truck was 3/8 but was 1/4. The mileage was not correct either being 2 miles under than listed. I tried to return the truck via app but the location service was working so therefore I couldn't do it myself causing an extra $20 fee for them to return it. Bad business. I had to sign the rental agreement before seeing the truck. 😒

Vehicle was clean , but needed traction control and stabilitrak serviced,( warning notifications were on when vehicle was running) also A/C needs service (selector buttons and knobs not working correctly)

Location did not have a utility dolly like we needed that would have helped us a lot with moving. It was a smaller location but I’ve always used uhual for moving and every location has had the dolly either in the truck or extras in the store.

Store hours online were conflicting between a 1 pm and 5 pm closing on Saturdays. They are closed at 1 pm and I showed up 10 minutes after closing. I left a message on their voicemail, took photos and sent to the pickup location’s office cell for proof. I left there with high anxiety not knowing if I was on the hook for the trailer.

Find an easier way to get a key before you open. I was unable to get my key and had to wait till 10 o’clock to get my truck cause a problem but not a big one.

My issue is with big U-haul. The night before my scheduled pickup, the location was changed and it was marked that I had requested mobile app - - I did not request as I specifically picked a larger U-haul location that opened at 7 am as I like to deal with a human. The new location didn't open until 10 am. Specific issue with this location is I had requested 60 pads and none were in the truck - - and couldn't resolve as they were not open.

Truck was in bad condition. I was charge too much . Drove the truck to 14 miles Tabbacco Rd to Stevens Creek Rd. Was charge $ 84.00. There 'no protocol, gas tank was almost empty.

Truck was dirty inside and outside . Gas tank showed between1/2 and 1/4 of a tank of gas so that’s what I returned the truck with . Also I was charged for something extra and I had no explanation of what the charge was for

The u-haul website listed locations within 2 or 3 miles of me that actually turned out to be 20 or 30 miles from me. I found the drop off location based on a Google map search of open uhaul locations.

This location was acceptable service. You Gordon Highway, Augusta location is deplorable. Your staff is uneducated on your own organization’s policies and procedures. You’re corporate name is at risk in their hands and you are losing money at that location. Just so you are aware, if anyone reads these comment sections. Not likely. Blessings.

Hire new front desk staff. I was treated horribly all because the front desk agent was upset with the main office. She told me she was “doing me a favor” by allowing me to rent a truck. Yelled and asked “Do you want it or not!” And yes I did curse her ass out. She deserved every bit. Then she tried to apologize later. I should’ve paid attention to the reviews of this dump. I deserve a refund. Reservation guarantee is a lie. Took over an hour after my pick up time to finally get the keys after she was done trying to lecture me about office issues that I have nothing to do with. . Made me late and unable to do what I really rented the truck for. Will never give this place business again.

The van that I used smelled horrible inside from start to finish. I own a small vehicle and frequently use uhaul to transport large items. This was the first time that I’ve experienced anything of this nature.

Fix the trucks up . Make sure they are in proper condition for traveling far. The truck I rented seems to need a tune up etc. Charge customers the right amounts and have correct information available when asking about charges.
