They rented my truck out to someone else, they had to call them back to bring it to me 🤦🏽â€â™€ï¸ that had me behind on what I had to doAlexus P.
I reserved a 15 foot truck with a ramp. This was the size we needed to get everything in one load. I reserved by phone and they said everything was good. I arrived at the location and got the truck. Put the truck in drive and the whole rest end was making such a racket that I thought it was going to fall out. I called the front office immediately and they sent a mechanic who got in and put it in drive, Dane thing. He said they would take it out of service.. the only other truck they had was a 10 foot truck. When we got in that truck, the check engine light was on but we were told to go ahead and take it and if it breaks down just call uhaul.. needless to say my patience was wearing thin. That was not big enough but at that point, we were out of options. We ended up having to make two trips.. these were 75 mile round trips.. plus it took an extra day. We were completely frustrated and exhausted having to lift the furniture up instead of having a ramp plus having to pay extra for extra miles.. never again. Beware and do not use Uhaul or this location.TERESA M.

I made a reservation for the Collierville location (5 minutes from my house) and the night before I was to pick it up I got an email telling me that the pick up location had changed to the Hernando (45 minutes from my house) location. I was told to call the traffic line and see if they could assist. When I called they kept picking up the line and not answering. I could hear someone in the background speaking with someone and then never answering me. This happened each time I called. Not a good customer service experience.Alyssa M.

Have the information in the drop off locations computers before the customers show up to the drop off location. And not have people make 15 phone calls and wait on hold for hours to get things straightened out again, because U-Haul screwed up everything.Hewlett L.

Back of truck was clean, the inside cab area was a little dirty. Truck had some issues starting at times. Needs service. Was a local move, so no worries about being stranded on interstate or anything.Sherry H.
Highly recommend using Snapbox instead of the actual U-Haul store on Pepperchase in Southaven. The U-Haul employees should all be fired for their complete disregard for customer service. My guaranteed rental was not available and no one called to tell me before I arrived. The two employees could not get off their cellphones to assist and only advised â€œthat's not my jobâ€. I asked where I could find a truck because I had movers on the way and they again advised â€œthat's not my jobâ€. I finally found Snapbox on my own and had a very pleasant experience with very friendly staff.Joseph S.
Ensure that all reserved equipment is present for truck pickup. I had an appliance dolly reserved, only to be told this location didn't have any and had to sit and wait on a refund to be sorted and processed. That hiccup was an unwelcome start to my day of moving and luckily I had enough help to get the appliances without the dolly. I would've been furious if I had a fridge to move though as the 2 others I had helping me wouldn't have been able to move that. However, the staff at this location helped get the refund processed quickly and did the best she could.William F.

Well you could start by keeping the word you say to your customer. I was giving a day free by Miss Leslie because I had a friend that committed suicide and I wasn't able to move my belongings. So she put a note saying that the following day I was to return the vehicle no later than 5:00 p.m. . Well the following day in Oxford Mississippi where I was moving my things we got snowed in due to the hills we were unable to even leave his driveway. I contacted you all and I told you if you wanted me to I would take the risk when driving and I was told not to and that I would not be charged for that day as well and to return it the following day. I drove all the way back we're next day and since it was Sunday the place was not open and I was unable to put the keys in the Dropbox and told them I would leave the keys in the van sorry 10ft. But it would not be my fault if the vehicle is taken once again I was told not to drop the vehicle off and I do it first thing in the morning and have it back no later than 12:00 which I did but when I went up there to pay for the U-haul services when you first try to charge me through the full four days. I then told you to look at your notes and that I was only supposed to be charged for one day even with the notes that were there and you all saying that I would not be charged your manager and your field manager Richard decided that I would be charged for 2 days regardless of what was written down. To me this is unacceptable not for the fact that I was charged for 2 days but for the fact that you're lying to me and that even though these notes were written down your company does not stand by their word. Therefore I will not be using your services ever again and the first chance I get I will be sure to post this on your page I'm telling my story and also contact whoever is in charge of the region. And if I can I am going to be sure to inform as how I have to change if I can break the way that you treat an individual after you tell them what you're not going to do even though what the notes in the system say. I'm going to enjoy even more telling them how you treated 100% disabled, veteran who did Four tours overseas and hostile sounds just have someone tell me no matter what was said or done I will pay at least two days and they're lucky they don't charge me for four. Well I'll say this with a smile I didn't have a problem paying for all four days I have a problem with your bleeding disrespect towards people and an even bigger issue that y'all think you can do what you want to a person because if they don't pay you then will use police , collection agencies or whatever you choose to once again and get what you want I'm making that person look bad women in all actuality your so-called managers are blatantly impatient an more concerned with how there quarterly reports look like than actually making your customers repeat users and treated respectfully and shown that your companies word is worth something good day and I hope your manager and field manager. PS that's where your customer service and your reservation teams even though you're hires not on air thank you for your help and your class and don't listen to a thing those two have to say about this if they even do say something like he said he would cause there word for doing something is untrustworthy. Truck was dirty when I picked it up, obviously not cleaned from last user. I also rented a furniture dollie but was sent to another location to pick it up. I initially booked an olive branch pickup location but it was changed to horn lake (30 minutes away) the day before my scheduled pickup. I ordered packing supplies that I never received.Robyn G.

U-Haul put a dangerous truck on the road. Truck had two tires with large bubbled spots on the tires...at least 3"x3-4" a piece. Maintenance is a joke if this made it through as a roadworthy. Fortunately, we made it after giving up on trying to get roadside help/advice.Trudy D.

The people were great....my problem was with the truck....the shock's were so bad that a slight bump in the road would cause the truck to bounce endlessly.truck should not be on the road in my opinion.probably needs more frequent maintenance checks. Where as the location where we rented the truck offered awesome customer service. The difficulty we had in renting the truck took more than an hour and we had still had to leave and come back due to issues with the website. Also payment was processes incorrectly. All in all it was a mess.Desiree M.

We we sent to 2 locations to get a tow Dolly the first location told us they didn't have a tow Dolly and reserved it at another location for us when we got to location 2 the system did not see the reserve and made it difficult to get the transaction taken care of. We sit in the waiting area about 45 minutes and someone at the regional office was called and had to work with the reservation in order to get it to take. We were not compensated for the system mishap and delayed the transport of the vehicleIrving W.
