The place is in a great, accessible location. It has a useable 'drive-around for entry and exiting [if they leave it unblocked]. The contact number left was manned, and a reasonable time for her return was met. The explanation and offer to just leave the equipment for subsequent email confirmation of its return was clear and successful [I just prefer face-to-face, for the assurance that my equipment return will be properly credited and acknowledged- but that's my personal quirk]. The site is really quaint, fruit-bearing pecan tree and all, and could be much more inviting with a moderate investment of time in some minor maintenance of the 'grass' and re-arrangement of the other, non-U-Haul equipment on site. First off, someone should be there. Second, they told me to put keys in drop box and follow directions to turn it in. I did and got billed an extra day. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REIMBURSEMENT. U-Haul in general has had THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced booking something. I highly doubt I'd ever use them again, nor recommend them to anyone.Carmen G.

Packed location with a sign on the locked doors that says to call a number for help if you want it. The number does not work. We had to manually return the truck with the app in pouring rain even though the business was open. When I was almost finished with the app the worker comes out and yells at us to just leave the key in the truck. (They didn't have a box to put it in) which showed that he knew what we were trying to do! Just didn't want to come out in the pouring rain with us. Never again. Customer service was nice though when I told them we never got our dolly and had to change it over the phone BEFORE returning the truck to this location.Earl W.

It's already hard enough to move and get a rental truck to do it. But this U haul location is just unprofessional, rude, and greedy for money. In the picture I didn't approve the damage insurance but the man made it seem like over the phone I did. I tried to explain to him hold and charge are the same thing when it comes to making payments with your bank account. He was trying to tell me it isn't and he refused to hear what I was trying to say what so ever. He made it seem like I was doing all the taking over but it was my turn to talk after letting him give his spill. I told him I didn't want it and I asked him will I be charged again if you do this contract again and he said yes and immediately said don't do it. Crazy part is that he did it anyway not caring what he had just did because my account went from 500 to less than hundred dollars. He already put a CHARGE of 236 and now another which was unauthorized because I'm asking him questions, so 180 is now out my account. Then on top he hung up in my face and blocked me on both numbers now making it hard for me to contact him ever again. I got in contact with an U Haul representative who explained it much better and squared away that it has been credited back to me. The man did confirm that my money won't be back to me until the truck is returned on top of it taking maybe a few business days. Honestly I will never use him again because he was a jerk and didn't know how to handle the situation. I work in customer service and if I ever hung up in a customer face I would be fired. So I filed a complaint against him and now leaving this review. Only using legit U haul place that LOOK like a U haul location and not a place where it seem sketch.Raymond H.

First of all the reservation was made 3 weeks before the pick-up date, then 2 days before pick-up I called to confirm that they had a 26ft truck, and a utility dolly, to which they confirmed. On the day of pick up, they assigned a different truck than the one that was assigned to us by U-Haul, they tried to give us an old busted up one instead and the owner's wife still kept trying to push it on us. On top of that they didn't have any utility dollies at all on site!!!! My pick up was for 7:00am, we didn't manage to leave there until 8:45am - a needless 1hr 45 min delay!!! We had to drive all the way to Lake Ella just to get a utility dolly, what an absolute waste of gas!!! The worst part of this ordeal was the owner's wife; she was extremely rude in the background when we were talking to her husband and then again when we had to call back to ask how long it was going to be until he showed up to fix the issue. The owner said he would be refunding the utility dolly straight away, and of course that didn't happen either so I called back again and unfortunately the wife happened to answer. She then showed her ugly attitude yet again by trying to be a smart ass when processing the refund (after lying by saying it was already done) please B I can see ALL pending transactions straight away on an Amexâ€¦not quite sure who you were trying to fool. After all this, not once did either of them even bother to apologize for the MAJOR inconveniences on the day of movingâ€¦but they were quite happy to take our money. Non-existent customer service at this location, U-haul should reconsider using this as a pick-up/drop off location. We honestly feel bad for the owner having to deal with an such an obnoxious wife. Do yourself a favor and use StorQuest in Southwood for any U-Haul needs.Pritesh P.

The staff there was not friendly at all. As the worker was parking the vehicle he ended up damaging the front right bumper near the light by hitting a trash can and running over a flower pot and nearly hitting their sign. When I confronted him about it he stated that it was already damaged. I told him it absolutely was not. He then corrected himself and said that it had already been patched up. The entire fiberglass front part of the bumper was broken after he hit the flower pot, trash can and went over landscapig bricks.cristy C.

This was the dirtiest uhaul lot we have ever seen. A creepy feeling to say the least. You cannot go into the building as there are signs everywhere telling you to stop and NOT enter. You have to call repeatedly to get an answer and wander through the dirty, cluttered lot to see if you can find someone. The gentleman who finally helped us was knowledgeable and nice enough but that lot and building were honestly an embarrassment to UHaul. We will not be renting from uhaul if we are sent to that location again. A representative for uhaul truly needs to visit this location.Shannon K.

We had a reservation for an appliance and box dolly. When we arrived they didn't have either. But they had enough for the lady in front of us who did not have a reservation for one. We were sent to another location that they said had the dollies but when we got there they did not either. After that they wanted to send us to a different city just of get them. At that point I was not driving around another hour. I had to move my son out of his apartment and he had appliances and large furniture. I had to go PURCHASE a dolly myself in order to get him out of the apartment by the end of the night. Barley squeaked by and finished around 10pm. All because of a lack of process on U-Haul's part. This is not the only time this has happened. last time they didn't even have a trailer for us, but that was a different location.Bill W.

Truck was a danger. Outside mirrors would not adjust and stay in place. Brakes were very soft and dangerous. Seat would not adjust forward so I had to drive sitting on the front edge of the seat. No dolly was provided as requested. Gas tank was empty when I got the truck but a credit was issued to cover cost of getting gas immediately which was appreciated but I did leave the truck with more gas than was requested to leave it with. When I returned truck same day (3/31/22) at 330pm there was no one there so I parked it and left the keys in the drop box marked for that but then 2 days later I was contacted and asked if I intended to return the truck! That was quite discerning and very upsetting considering I returned it well before the contracted time of return. Penske for me from now on. This is not a professionally run business.Cindy C.
