This was my first time to Florida and Smokey made me feel right at home. The office was pretty casual, and you could even find a few large items for sale inside, like a grandfather clock and small upright piano, so it wasn't he traditional West coast office I was used to, but the service Smokey provided was top notch and I would 100% recommend others to rent from him.
DENNIS VOwner came in on the one day it snowed in Tallahassee so I could still pick up my trailer. Made things very easy.
ROSS PIt's not the location of the pick-up that was the problem, though they forgot my moving blankets and caused my time and gas to be wasted. Nor did they tell me everything I needed etc have with me when picking up the equipment. HOWVER, those things I can over look because it was the very least of my problems from U-haul. It is your entire digital check-in process that's the problem. It's the largest, most frustrating pile of dinosaur shit that I have ever experienced from U-haul. Just when I didn't think my experience with your company could get any worse, you invented NEW WAYS to introduce me to Hell itself and make me want to carry each individual box and piece of furniture 12 hours one way by hand. It actually took me LONGER to get to where I was loading up because of your digital ineptitude than it did to actually load your damn metal-box-on-wheels. What's crazy is I am the one doing all the damn work when it comes to registration, checking-in, filling and unloading the truck, and advertising your sorry business driving down the road with your logo on the side of the vehicle, and your prices STILL go up? The U-haul company is fucking useless, and I will pay more somewhere else just to never have to deal with your sorry asses again.

Jessica BFirst time using contactless pick up. Will never do that again. Truck was clean. I ordered 60 moving pads. Called customer service and they had me go to another location to get the pads, they only had 6. Called customer service again (people at other location would not help) and they sent me to a 3rd location to get the pads. They had them and were very helpful. So 2 hours later and about 15 miles out of my way I was able to finally use the truck.

Amy PGuaranteed reservations are very important for us. We rent trucks and trailers for specific uses and dates. The $50 rebate is useless to us if we cannot get the equipment we need. Therefore, we normally use other companies that do guarantee our reservation.

Ahmet SThe owner and worker were professional and nice. The location is extremely small as I did not feel comfortable driving on their lot but they were helpful to move things around. When I dropped the trailer in Auburn, apparently the trailer was damaged and should not have been used as the brake system failed. Thankfully, the drive was ok.

JOVO JI ordered my uhaul from a third party group. My experience with the uhaul help line was TERRIBLE the guy told me my truck was gone and he hung up on me when i was perfectly polite. I went straight to the third party uhaul dealer and he was amazing. Literally a wonderful human being. ❤️ I couldn't recommend that place enough, the uhaul help line guy needs to get fired though he sounded high and literally hung up on me. The guy I met in person tho was great.

MICHAEL BThe truck that I reserved was not available and there was only 1/4 tank of gas in the truck and the reading for the gas was false and I and put more gas in the truck then there was in it when I picked it up. I was still wrongly charged for it.
Michelle Yit’s a crappy building full of trash… when i returned the trailer no one was at the location….. i personally had to unhook the trailer… then yesterday they billed us for days after we returned it…. i want a refund and someone from u-haul to call me

Kyle RBooked two months prior, ordered 15 foot truck, with no notice email sent stating that we could pick up 15 foot truck at 12 noon. We had movers coming at 9 am. Which we paid for with uhaul order. No consideration for that. Had to use 26 foot truck to keep our original time line.

Brian LI rented a truck from a location that was closest to my home and Uhaul moved the location twice before I picked up my truck. When I picked up my truck, the milage and gas level were both wrong on the app so I had to call in. The first representative was very nice and helpful. However, the back of the truck was clean but smelled like cat urine. Then on returning the truck, the app would not work again. It was tring to say I ttraveled 810 miles instead of 29. I again had to call in. This representative was also very helpful.

Donald LDid not have and could not locate the moving dolly that I had reserved. I took the small dolly based on them agreeing to add a day to the term going from four days to five. Rather than doing the extension on the trailer and the dolly he only extended the dolly. I was subjected to additional days charge on trailer at drop off point. Thank goodness Teresa there straightened this out.
