Trailer was missing the applicator for the lights. Owner let us drive off without a working trailer and required us to buy the part to make the lights work. Should have never rented us a trailer without working lights

JULIO HERLANDAZGetting advice on the drive a routes to avoid based off pot hold on the road. A rear view camera, lights on the bottom of the uhaul so I can see the lines in the road when it’s raining. More lights on top of the U-Haul’s to drive better at night for roads with poor lighting. Save me time on returning the uhaul by having a contact with storage locations , employ more truck drivers so they can give more helpful advice for being cross state travels an share conmen sense road etiquette to have with 18 wheeler truck drivers

LesaGaye FrancisStaff was a little rude and parking was unclear. The sun visor in the truck wouldnt stay up and a piece of it actually fell down. The place said open til 7 online, but they locked up at 530. Was overall confusing.
Rhiannon MinettaCustomer service needs improvement, the guy when we were returning had a bad attitude and yelled at us. Trailers needs to be cleaned before you give them to customers it had a nasty rag with idk what on it. Also breaks and lights need to be checked to see if they are working and they just hooked it up and walked off. And when checking in to get trailer the guy made a sexist comment like he being a women I can't drive a truck with a trailer. Will never return back ever. It was a dump, the building I was in need to be repair , the ceiling was caving in some had already fallen. It had bad water damage. I was scared to be in there.

Ralph DoucetteFirstly, upon arrival I noticed there is absolutely no where to park your car?! & no one mentioned that! How inconvenient. Secondly, on the application I was instructed to remove my key from the box on the gate. I spent 20 minutes trying to just unlock the thing, until I called and a representative stated the key is inside the truck. Also, not communicated. I was charged for a utility dolly, furniture dolly, and furniture pads. None of which I selected, needed, or wanted. The day prior I sent the location a message, and upon arrival, there were no dollys, or pads in my truck BUT I STILL GOT CHARGED. I am extremely disappointed in this experience. The trucks visor was ripped off making it difficult to drive. I had to pay for extra time because of misleading information. I had to wait for someone to come pick my car up and unable to locate key. Very poor experience.

Rick TorresTruck was relatively okay. The location is poor, very small and doesn’t have the right equipment to be dealing with uhauls. They also over charged me stating I drove over 80 miles when I only drove 60 at most. Overall, I would never use this location again.
Bryan CorraoThe inside of the truck was filthy, looked like the dashboard/front seat area hadn’t been wiped down…ever…and the gas tank was completely empty. I’ve been in some rough U-Hauls but when you think it may not start for you every time you try to get it running it’s a little nerve racking. I like the location though super easy to pickup and drop off.
Michelle ShawThe gentleman I spoke with in the morning was rude and acted as if it was an inconvenience to deal with me, which I guess it was since they were understaffed, or so it looked. The van smelled of cigarettes and was dirty. The guy that checked me in, while being kind to me, made racist comments about Hispanic people and their inability to speak English because a customer walking up looked to be Hispanic. He wasn't. I understand that this is a cheap car repair shop, and I genuinely don't care about how you treat me to an extent, but racism is never ok and I will never go back or recommend them.

SHALONDA WHITTAKERThis place honestly looks like a junkyard. There are Uhauls to rent amongst broke down cars and boats. The Uhaul truck smelled like it was burning and I was just glad to make it home.

Marvin ThompsonMy original invoice for 24 hours of 20' truck was $43. I returned it in less than 24 hours and refilled the tank as it was, by the time I returned i was charged more than $120. It's misrepresentation of the service when you advertise low prices but charge clients way higher.

Daniel JarrettThe place was filthy and uninviting. My wife was scared to enter, so she stayed in the car. Equipment was clean, but not well maintained. Headlight button was loose; visor was falling out. I was invited to return it in the evening and given the protocal. Never did they mention that there would be a $20 fee (more than the initial rental price!!) for returning it after 5pm. This, I am still fighting.

David ChandlerDropped off the trailer after hours since it was listed as a 24/7 drop off location. There is no room in front of the gate to place trailers or trucks easily without blocking the gate as requested. The instructions are vague and it’s almost impossible to get back on the street after drop off. I will not be returning to this Uhaul location again

pamela MackeyBe very careful with this location although my reservation excluded the rental insurance she completed the rental contract on their end with it included. This is no so when you use a uhaul branded store as you have to agree to the terms on the terminal and you the customer have the option to decline the insurance, when confronted about the charge the manager is not in and can’t answer the phone as he is on vacation I guess all the fraudulent fees tact on is paying for that everlasting vacation. Never will I use Smokey’s location again I prefer to drive 30 miles to another location than have them get any money from me.
