I was told the store opened at 6 am ....not the case. I was at the store ready to drop the dolly at 5:50 am. The store didn't open until a few minutes after 7

The attendant was very busy running convenience store single handed and repeatedly had problems with the Uhaul web page. Despite having verified the auto transport transport trailer as well the pickup and drop off locations with a Uhaul staff member over the phone when we arrived we were told we had a 26' box truck reserved and the drop off location had changed as well. The trailer pick up took over 1 hour. I has to put air in all 4 tires and 1 of them was completely flat, registering zero psi on my tire pressure gauge.

the woman working there couldn't get the rental to work on her computer, i was charged for a dolly and furniture cart which I never received, the the truck wreaked of cigarettes in the cab and there will ashes all over the cab and cup holders which we cleaned up so I wouldn't be charged, there was residue from spilled drinks on the console and floor, which we also cleaned up, the back was dirty and smelled heavily of moth balls.

Website was not working properly, so we had to call Uhaul Customer Service. On multiple calls, the call was dropped or we were on the line for extended periods of time of 15-30 minutes. Though I had Uhaul Customer Service on my phone line, Uhaul Customer Service would leave my phone line to call the Service Agent that was standing directly in front of me, rather than just speaking to both of us on the same line.

This location was in a convenience store and I had to wait nearly 30 minutes while store customers were making purchases during check in and check out. Truck needs mechanical attention and was not clean

THIS IS THE WORST LOCATION EVER PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRUCKS AWAY FROM THEM! THEY OVER CHARGE PEOPLE AND RENT THEM OUT TO FRIENDS TO COVER THE MILEAGE! THEY ARE RUINING THE U-HAUL NAME!!

Be honest with the customer when he or she comes in to rent a uhaul truck on how long they can rent a truck for before accepting a payment also doing the uhaul rental paper works .Also have a better knowledge about the uhaul rental system

I wouldn't know where to start. It wasn't so much the store as it was U Haul staff they would tell you to hold and never come back phone. I spent a total of 3 3/4 hours trying to reat a car towing dolly what kind of service is that ? Then I went to where I was supposed to pick up my car and the shop was closed. So I had to go back this morning and was late for my job and I have a time sensitive job. It may cost me my job. I'm very disappointed in the service I received. Richard Hollifield

I was told that I would be charged for 3 days. If I returned the trailer earlier---in Nashville---I would be credited---for the days I did not use----pro-rated. When I returned the trailer---- the return location said that was not the case--- I needed to contact the original rental location--in VA.

The store manager did not connect the auto transport nor assist testing the lights. The paperwork was not the traditional U-haul documention. The one wheel was not made for heavy towing. Worst experience ever.

My main issue with the truck was that the back was not cleaned out when we rented it. Having rented Uhauls many times before, I know that you are supposed to completely sweep them out and remove and trash before returning the truck. The back of the truck we were given had a lot of debris and bad odor so before we could start moving our items, we had to clean the trash out. Aside from that most glaring issue, the location did not have the dolly we had reserved with the truck so we had to find one at the last minute and the clerk at the time of pickup was rather rude, for lack of better word. The clerk at the time of return was friendlier so I can’t say that would always be the experience but compared to our last U-Haul rental, this location could do much better. Overall though, they had the truck we needed for the date we needed it and after cleaning it out, it functioned well so I can’t say not to use this retailer. I just wouldn’t say it would be my first choice when renting again and therefore I wouldn’t recommend this one over others available.

Make sure dollies are available for moving large or heavy objects. I was informed dollies are standard with all trucks. However, it was not the case with renting from this company.

It took forever to get checked out and when she was done she looked at me and said "ok thanks" as all I had to do is leave her the key...why did she make me wait so long?!?!

What a mess U-Haul is! We had pre-ordered our truck. We were sent to a U-Haul location out in a rural area in the middle of nowhere (thankfully we had a GPS or we would never have found it), only to get there and be told they had NO trucks! We had ordered a 10 ft truck, but the location we were then sent to (in the middle of the city, another 30 minute drive), only had a 26 ft available. So we had no choice but to take the 26 ft truck, which then cost us more in gasoline to refill the truck when taking it back. Totally a lack of U-Haul knowing their business. If we ever have to use a moving truck again, we will definitely reconsider another company.

The truck was clean enough but it had damage to the passenger side that hadn't been turned in. The brakes on the back right side had turned the wheel brown and were squeaking some on the trip. When called from the Longs, SC drop off location the man at Smoker's Choice did tell them that the damage was on the truck at pickup. They didn't even do a walk through on the truck before I left. When I got home there was a U-Haul hand truck in the back that I didn't rent and I drove it back to their location on my car. I had rather rent from the usual location in Martinsville that I had used twice before "The Storage Center". Never had a problem dealing with them but the online reservation changed my pickup point because U-Haul had not sent any oneway rentals to The Storage Center.

I would like a reimbursement or pay for the movers I had scheduled. I had to wait over 2 hours to get the uhaul I had scheduled because the employee could not find my order. I even gave her the confirmation # and she said she still could not find it, which caused me to have to pay the movers for additional time waisted.

The inside had drink in the floor and drink holder, the inside of the bed had cigarette butts, pieces of wood, and trash. I told them and they just looked at me like I was crazy for telling them. They did not say they were sorry or anything , just stared at me. Will never go back to this location again.

The first day I drive an hour to get the uhaul I talked to them at around 9 am. I get to location around 1030. The computer system was down so it was a wasted two hours. The next day I come back and they get both the address I’m at and the one I am moving to. They were in different counties. They did not enter my move to address and charges me for in town rental. I call the drop off line and arrange to drop off in Stuart. This should have been the sign it was not in town. This location cost me an extra 40 dollars. I am not happy at all with this experience.

When i showed up at this location they did not know how to Adjust my change of location they had to call a superviser to find out what to do.uhaul it self should have informed me about the change and notified the new location l had to go to two locations spending more fuel and time

When I went to pick the uhaul up at the place web site wasn't up and lady kept getting my information over and over ID and credit Card number That was very awful service and then after returning the uhaul 2 hours after picking it up the women at the place tried to charge me twice.she said there was no record of my being there after all the copies that was made of my information and I did it on line two days before through website I will be changing all credit cards because of this And make sure no one rents from this place
