The trucks aren't in the best of shape, but the owners know that and are way more easy going about the rentals. It just felt way less stressful than other uhaul places I have rented from. But please don't use that as an excuse to abuse a good thing.Ian L.

Equipment was very clean, returning the car at a different location was easy and the cost was pretty good. One issue we had was I had rented a 20foot truck at least a month ago at a specific location for 8am. I was told the day before during the confirmation process that it would have to be at a different location at 8am since they didn't have those types of uhaul rentals there. Then on the site for the new pick up place, it said they didn't open till 9am. Just threw off the morning a little bit since I had people coming over to help put items in the truck at 9am.KAITLYN E.

-After carefully picking the location closest to me, they switched me to this location after my original truck was broken down. Uhaul charges by the mile, and I still had to pay for the extra distance. (Also, this parking lot is sketchy AF, and I had to leave my car there all day.) -Online Check Out took 30-45 minutes, instead of the 10 minutes advertised. I tried the -chat with an agent- function to ask how much longer, and no one ever answered. -Once I actually got the keys, I saw the passenger side mirror was shattered. I took the truck anyway, because I didn't have another 45 minutes to wait around for them to respond.Hope P.

The truck had debris, broken glass, & a toy on it. It also has a strong foul odor. I had to clean it before I used it. They also gave me a truck with a little less than a quarter tank of gas. I brought it back the same way. The charges me for fuel.JAZMYN P.
First off we were on time but the truck wasn't there. And then tell us to come back and we did and then try to get us in a bigger truck that we didn't reserve. Started being rude to us cause we were late picking up and we did the online checking once the truck was there. We would highly recommend not using this location at all!!William J.

Their was very little gas in the truck and had to go straight to the gas station . When returning the truck and doing the check out the app was not working . For one the millage was over 100 plus miles off from what it actually was and the gas was the same way to like someone had been driving it but not using the app to update it . Which makes sense seeing how when checking out it would go to let me take a pic of the dash but would not let me take a pic and I kept restarting the app and same results everytime . The truck was a complete mess, and had a terrible smell even with having the windows down the entire time, also due to several accidents I was an hour late to pick up the truck and an hour late bringing it back so I used my 4 hours yet I was still charged double, the gentleman that I had to receive the keys from and check back in with was not very personable. I would not recommend this location to anyone and if you do happen to go here, make sure you take pictures before and after your usage. I was very disappointed in the service and condition of the truck!Amanda S.

When I got into the uhaul it was disgustingly dirty, there were dirty masks and left over personal belongings so you know it wasn't cleaned out after the last use. The front left tire was almost flat, the psi was at 20 and it needed to be at 80. Well not worth the money.Corey K.
The truck had multiple pallets and trash on the back. I had to return to ask them to take off and was told l had to take them off myself. Which put me behind on my moving process, not to mention they were pretty heavy. The only accommodation I was given was $10 cash after returning the truck. The inside was also not clean. Overall it was my worst uhaul experience. I will not use this location again.YALONDA T.

The truck ran good enough but it was extremely dirty in the cab and somewhat dirty in the box. The on line checkin was terrible. I did everything a head of time but when I got to the location it took an hour to check in. The little store I had to go in was a horrible representative for u-haul.Stephen S.

Agent was so arrogant, gave me the keys without the code to open the lock to the trunk. I called him requesting the code. He said the code is "road" , I didn't get the word well because of his accent so I had a hard time entering the code. Asked him to spell it, and he made fun of me saying " simple road you cannot spell, look for someone to help you, I don't have time to waste. " Over the phone I heard other customers in his store laughing, as he made ridicule of me. It was a sad experience because he failed to understand that not everyone had the privilege to attend school to be taught how to spell, or to have English as his or her first language. Instead of helping a customer, he chose to ridicle the customer.Mathias T.

The representative was rude. When I picked up the truck it was just barley on a quarter of a tank and I had to put gas in the truck. Did not get compensated for gas. Was told my loss. Never use again.ROBERT S.

When I went to rent the Uhaul I realized that the place has a lot of people coming in and out. The guy didn't really care and safety or take precautions. The truck was not clean. The steering wheel was sticky.Zaki H.

This uHaul rental location is located within a convenience store that is very, very busy. This made the experience less than subpar. There was an incident where the representative that assisted me started to help me and then went to help another patron to play lottery numbers. I thought that this was unprofessional. U haul over charged me on Saturday by 85 dollars and I have NOT yet received my down payment/holding fee for truck rental. I want my money now or expect to hear frim an attorney soon. This is ridiculous, the man at The Smoke Outlet had no idea of what hw was doing amd just keep telling me..."just give it a few day". Well its been more than a few days and I WANT MY MONEY!! U haul had no problem taking my money...now give it back. HORRIBLE!!!!Trina S.

I arrived at 8:45 for a 9 am pick up. The guy arrived at 9:02, and needed to "open' the shop before getting to help me. I had movers at my house at 9:15. I was not able to leave the pick up location until 9:27, ridiculous! The return process was just as difficult and annoying. If Could have given 0 stars I would have.Theodore G.

The truck was filthy, they didn't have the appliance dolly that was on my order. The only reason I will still use U-Haul in the future is because the location on Sinclair and Morse in Columbus not only gave me a dolly but the manager came out and personally cleaned the filthy truck for me. He was so kind and if I ever need a U-Haul in Columbus I'll go straight to the Sinclair rd location in the future! The woman who answered at the 800 number for U-Haul was also very polite and understanding of what was going on and made up for the huge inconvenience the best she could. Was my experience worth $107 dollars no because I have never got a filthy truck from any U-Haul reservation in the past, but at least U-Haul restored my faith in the company as a whole without a hassle. I'll never use the location at the smoke outlet on Dublin Granville ever again though!Ashley D.

The pick up location was not of my choice. It was a relocated area the day before. It was a smoke shop with marijuana smoking bowls for sale. The area is town was not safe. It was trashy and messy. Very unorganized, the teller said his brother owned the store and he was out of the country so he was filling in.Angelo B.
I've sat on hold for a total of 57 minutes trying to get help I was unable to obtain thie original reservation that was for 3 hours prior so I had to drive to another location This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had and I will never rent from U-Haul again. I made a reservation for today at 7 p.m. at one of the locations near me the reservation number is 25133 799. When I got to the location the technology kept malfunctioning I downloaded the app after about 25 minutes and I also call customer service and stayed on hold for a total of 40 minutes with no help the app told me that a vehicle had not been attached to my reservation I was late picking up my item because I had to rush to another U-Haul store nearby to get an additional truck I just spent 1 hour attempting to return that truck contract number 93358328 and the app would not accept any of the pictures this is terrible and once again when I call customer service I sat on hold for 17 minutes before I could let someone know I was having issues returning the truck it's just unacceptable service customer service all around everything was bad but I do want someone to know that the truck was returned at 9 p.m.Cassandra T.
