The lights on the rented item flickered and/or didn't work at all. The pick up location was aware but didn't switch our rental to another one since it also had some issue. Also, the location doesn't take cash.

The trailer and service were fine. Parking the trailer on return was pretty challenging as I had to back it up into a spot between two other trailers while trying not to hit two tow trucks that I had to jockey the car in between.

Cab was dirty. Missing dolly and furniture blankets. Customer service wanted me to drive 45 minutes one way to get them from another location. Asked three times for someone to call me about the experience and crickets.

Friendly staff and quick check out process.I little difficult to see location from road. Pulling into location was questionable as to where to go.

I made my trailer reservations at “Miller’s Auto Center”, Located at 11702 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, VA a week in advance and was scheduled to pick up the trailer at that location. Staff at that location called me the day before pickup to confirm my pickup time an location. When we arrived at that location, we were told they had no trailer and we would have to pick one up at the Genito Road location—quite a distance from the original Midlothian pickup location. This review is for the Genito location. I will NEVER do any business, and I will inform anyone who asks, not to rent from Miller’s U-Haul located at 11702 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, VA. I plan to post this review to Yelp and any other appropriate social media site as well.

I don't understand what the point of reserving uhaul online is, if it does not actually reserve anything. When I booked a truck online I wanted an 8am pick up of a 10ft truck in Richmond. Instead, in less than 24 hours before my move I was informed that the time, truck size, and pick up location (now a 30 minute drive away from my home) were changed. At the pick up location the next morning I had to wait over an hour due to staff having trouble accessing the truck keys and then having problems with their computer system. All of this makes the already stressful experience of moving much more terrible. I even got charged extra for putting on more mileage on the truck than was originally quoted. But I don't think they took into account the extra 12 mile drive from Midlothian to Richmond when they changed the location of my truck pick up. I will not be using Uhaul for future moves. I highly encourage higher ups to change the reservation process to respect the requested trucks/times/locations of customers.
