No body was at the location when I went to pick up the van, I had to go around front and back for 20 mins or so before finding the owner who took about 20 mins to hand me the van keys even though I was pre-registered. Worst experience ever, would avoid using UHAUL in future and will save my time and money

Service was good but the truck was not cleaned. There was a used face mask, cigarrette pack and food crumbs on the passenger seat. It made me very uncomfortable not only because of hygiene but also because of COVID. Additionally, we did not do a walkthrough - I simply got an email a while later stating existing damages to the vehicle but the link did not work.

It took a bit to find the location of the store even though there were numerous U-Haul trucks in the parking lot. The U-Haul store was located inside another store. Other than that, the rep was courteous and knowledge. The 15 ft. truck handles flat terrain well but there is an automatic governor that kicks in on downhill terrain which pulls your speed back causing the engine to rev high. I'm sure you burn more fuel when this happens and vehicles behind you will beardown on you as you break unexpectedly. With that said, I was happy to get the truck on a Friday at the beginning of the month when others were sold out. It served it's purpose well and I will still rent from this U-Haul location again.

1. If there is no proper guidelines and assistance for self-service pick please don't provide that option because I am searching for the vehicle a long time and the number provided for assistance is completely waste, tried many times no one is picking. Only help is provided by the live chat agent but there is long delay between messages which resulted in picking a vehicle which doesn't have code lock and again time wasted. More than 45 mins I have roamed in the parking lot where the temperature is single degree and very cold. 2. Please give some respect to customers and please let us know where the vehicle is parked. Till 10 am I am searching for the truck and No luck finally the Smart Vacuum Plus got opened I approached the staff and said that I am searching for the vehicle, he asked my name and gave me the keys for the vehicle which is not there in the parking lot. I told that I couldn't find the vehicle but he simple said, it will be there and moved back to his desk. I was asking him to help finding the vehicle but he is not ready to show the vehicle and simple started doing his work which made me more frustrated so again I tried opening the wrong vehicle that live chat agent told me and finally saw a message outside the shop saying there are key boxes back side of the the complex so I decided to check those and finally the vehicle is parked back of the big complex. Overall had a very bad experience, I never expected this kind of service from uhall and after this bad experience, I saw the Google reviews for this store which is very bad and still they are continuously providing this kind of bad service and I am clue less why still UHall is not taking any action... which makes me feel bad about Uhall. Also, one last thing I have returned the vehicle at 3:30 PM and handed over the key to the store and the store person said that I will get an email with the final closure but till now I didn't get any ..

It was a very frustrating experience from start to finish, don't know where to begin… 1. Issues with key lock where key was stuck. Last moment issues while picking up truck are awful as movers had arrived but truck was getting delayed. 2. No blankets were included nor prior intimation that they would not be 3. Return was so difficult and stressful as app did not work well 4. I had to call 5 times to try and close out the transaction which was only done 2 days ago a full 10 days after truck was returned 5. Every call was over 60 min wait time and even upon leaving call back number the system would call and disconnect. Terrible system. Overall experience was very poor

This location is inside some other store. There are no big sign boards outside the store to find it easily. I tried calling the store number but no answered. I had to inquire from other stores on the address and I was pointed to the right store. I really suggest to put big enough sign board so that customers can find the store easily.

Hi, Couple of issues, 1- Customer rep keep saying he doesn't have my order and keep complaining about Uhaul company like they overbooking him. 2- The gas tank was empty and he said I am giving you $30 credit which he was lying he gave me $30 so I fill the tank first then I can do my move. I think this is bad customer service. I won't recommend this location to my other family or friends.

Despite of promising a guaranteed booking and reserving a dolly, I didn't get one because all dolly's were rented out by someone who came prior to me, so what is the use of reserving one? How uhaul expect to complete a move without dolly? Why guarantee is given at the time of booking?

Person that works there doesn't know how to complete a reservation , I was not sent the email explaining how to register online for picking up , he did not mention that Monday they are closed , and I was lost when I got there because I seen they were closed and wasn't sure how it works because this is my first time experiencing this which delayed my move and made it inconvenient , please they should do there job 100% not 80% , not recommending this location or uhaul for that matter because this is my second bad experience with this company

Firsttime I used u haul. Based on my invoice receipt, I understood that this dealer wants to rob people money by adding more kilometres even when the client not run those kilometres. I driven 30kms max only but this dealer charges me 113miles which is around 180kms. It's a shock for me. Pls don't rob people money.

Rep was too lazy to come outside and check over the truck with me. Sent me an email picture that I was not told about. It had a time limit which had expired when I got home. Store was supposed to be open until 4pm. I returned truck at 2.45pm and Store was closed. Not pleased about having to leave it in public parking lot without having had it checked over with me..

This company needs to have much better communication. I was booked for a 9:00 am pick up and I received no instructions on how to access the keys. I was on the phone for over 45 min waiting for someone to answer, the person who finally answered was so stoned, he could not even talk. It was a terrible experience, very, very poor customer service, very inefficient way to access the keys and finally, the dolly that I ordered was not even there. I didn't get access to the truck until 10:45 am. The truck had a huge dent on the side. I will never use this company again until they fix their service, their communication and their representatives, who are terrible at what they do. Terrible, terrible experience.

The digital odometer worked intermittently and I believe something was wrong with the gas-gauge. I drove 78 miles and put $35 worth of gas into it and was still charged another $23 for gas and a $30 gas fee.....????

Only downfall was I booked a truck for 9 a.m. that morning I got a call the day before saying the truck won't be ready till 12:00. Is completely threw out my day with such short notice. I live in a condo and I have to select a slot for the moving elevator. This short notice time change really made my move a lot harder. Please don't offer times that you cannot keep. And if the time does change please give notice ahead of time so we can make changes to our schedules.

My experience is not the location's problem. I booked in a location near my place. However, when we arrived, there was no truck available for our booking. After almost an hour on the cell phone with U-Haul reps, we were referred to this location which is about 15 km from our place. The reason for my rating is for U-Haul which did not honour our booking or informed me earlier that the truck reserved is not available. It took me about 2 hours just to get the truck. Again, it is not the review against the pick-up location (the person there did a good job helping us to sort out the mess created by U-Haul), but an unsatisfied review for U-Haul.

I went through a horrible experience with the location and overall U-Haul experience. I booked a truck for June 1st but when after completing online check-in, found out that no keys were left in the truck. Started calling customer service and there were 40-45 minutes wait times. Spent 2 hrs and finally was able to get hold of someone who assigned a different truck. Had to pay extra for my movers and then had to request my move-in location to extend the window. But it didn't end here. At the time of return, the system didn't accept the adometer as turned out it was comparing against the first truck. Had no choice but to drop off keys and leave. Called customer service who advised to visit the location next day. Went there next day but the guy was completely unresponsive. Told me he will get back but never got back. Received the invoice which showed charges for both the trucks. Since then I have been calling customer service and emailing the local manager but have received no responsive. The calls always have more than 45 minutes wait or they will forward to another department who never pickup. I tried online concern but it always shows "an error has occurred, please try again". Its completely pathetic and very frustrating. Don't know where to go and who to contact. Very disappointing.

Most arrogant and unfriendly person I have ever dealt with, each of my credit cards has 10k on them, I gave him 3 different ones and he kept saying declined, absolutely no way. As I have no balance on them. I had to call my unfit 90 yr old uncle to come down and try his. He was rude the min I walked inside, also door was locked and took him a while to open it. Very strange place.

The process to pick up the truck with no one available in the office was patchy at best. The truck could not be located, I can to call U-hail to find it (it was in the back of the building). There were problems getting the pad lock code by way of the online process (which is not all clear or intuitive), and then the dials on the lock would not turn easily.

Simplify fueling - at the end of my move, prior to returning the truck, I had to refuel gas three times. After each refuel I had to turn on the truck to check that the fuel gauge was at the right spot.

In my initial online request, I've requested drop-off at the Milton location. However, when I received my contract, I found out that the drop location in Oakville. That was my only disappointing item.

I had an after hours pick up and drop and the app didn't work both times. During pick up, I had to remain on call for 30+ minutes to get a representative to sort my issue. During the drop off, the app didn't work again but luckily, I was dropping it off during work hours and could go into the store and return the keys. Why have an app if the customer can't use it? Also, the bottom of the truck was dirty. A quick vaccum clean would be well appreciated.

had 24/7 pickup scheduled with $50 booking guarantee, arrived at the pick up location at 9am and found that it's a handoff only pickup and the store opens at 10:30am. I had an elevator booked for 10am-12pm and lost 1.5hrs on my elevator move. Store agent was rude and unfriendly - will never use that location or similar again
