Parking at this location is very limited. The van needed washing. Also, it bothered me to get my final receipt hours after returning the van. It should come to me immediately. Walter, who assisted me at the location, was great!

Unfortunately I had to go to this location because my previous reservation was ” updated “ 1 day before my scheduled move. I was told I could no longer go one way. Long story short I was extremely inconvenienced and not offered any discount or compensation, for the short notice and change in plans which really stressed me out on top of my move.

The office space is basic and adequately gets the pick up process done. Drop off was completed outside. Walter knows about moving and about truck size; he modified my initial truck request to a more suitable truck. Truck size was perfect and the move went very well.

When I first arrived at the location, the person working at the desk told me that the truck was turned in on time and specifically stated that I would not be charged for an extra day. I wish I would have recorded everything. I told him that I put in enough gas that it was more than where it was when I picked it up. I mentioned that I only saw a parking lot on the opposite side of the building and I wasn't sure if it was for the business next door or if it was shared. He said that it was only for the other business and that I needed to move the truck to the curb in front of the window. I said it was no problem and I went back to move it. As I began to back up, two cars came in and parked behind me. I pulled back into the parking space and walked back in. I told the guy what happened and said I was sorry, but there isn't enough room to get it out now. I didn't feel confident that there was enough space left to turn the truck around without scratching anything. He then became rude and told me that he would not check the truck in unless it was parked exactly where he wants it. I noticed a sign on the desk with a couple of phone numbers. One that said Manager and one that said President. I tried calling the Manager and didn't get an answer, then called the President and explained what happened. He said it wouldn't be a problem and at one point said: “I'll have someone straighten him out”. I said “It's okay. I know he's just doing his job”. I was on speakerphone and the employee heard both sides of this conversation. When I hung up, he still refused to check the truck in. I was shocked. I said: “Didn't you just hear what he said? He said it's okay.” Then he became even more rude and threatened to charge me for another day. I said: “Now your going to piss me off”. “If you try to charge me for that, I will call U-Haul and get it refunded or even if that doesn't work, I'll call my bank and they will charge it back”. He called the Manager and lied to him right in front of me. He said that I “refused” to move the truck, even though he knew that I had tried my best to comply with what he wanted. I said “You're a liar and I want to speak to the Manager. The Manager then called me and I stepped outside to speak with him. I explained what really happened and he seemed to understand that I did everything I could. He said there wouldn't be a problem and that I can consider it checked in. I went back to the door to get a receipt, but the guy had locked the door. Hours later when I checked my e-mail, I found a receipt from U-Haul where I could see that he typed in the same lie that he had spoken to the Manager regarding me “refusing” to park in the right place. And... he charged me for an extra day. Which is fraudulent. I really can't recall ever having a worse experience anywhere. It's bizarre. It's as if this guy is purposely trying his hardest to get fired.

The agent at the location is very friendly and helpful. Online app so easy to use, vehicles available at location as promised, unlike some of your competitors , and the van I got was low mileage! Through online app, the whole transaction is almost "contact-less" except for the credit card POS (perhaps you should work on eliminating that), much appreciated during this COVID 19 pandemic!

have the correct truck that was reserved and agreed upon by both parties available and not have the customer running around different UHaul dealers with the false hope of getting a 10' truck only to be told 15' are available while running my reservation time up.

every time I rented a u haul I had a good experience but this truck was horrible and I am asking for a refund of 50% due to the condition of the vehicle and the fact that there almost was no truck because the one that was rented to me was rented to somebody previous and almost didn't return it.

If mobile, after hours pick up is available, make sure that the equipment ordered is placed inside the truck. We had ordered moving blankets and an appliance dolly, and would have had to wait two hours for the u-haul side to open up if the owner of the mattress store hadn't been able to call the u-haul manager at his home to figure out how to get the equipment.

This location was closed when I showed up for pickup. Attendant showed up an hour after I got there and I made several calls to customer service. And at the end, they put in a made up return time. I returned it on Sunday and they put in Monday morning!!

Not sure whose fault this is but you guys gave me a 9AM reservation for a pickup location that didnt open until 10AM. The guy there was nice and professional but I wasted an hour of time that I was paying a crew to sit around for and that cost me more money than this whole rental. It seems inconceivable to me that you have someone booking reservations that isn't aware of facility hours. If someone reaches out to me with an apology and a refund I might use Uhaul again. Otherwise you lost my trust as a reliable partner.

Walter was extremely helpful and understanding at the Arcadia location. He provided fast and quality service! Way better than dealing with the Uhaul self pick-up option at the other location. Uhaul website and self pick-up service was ridiculously unreliable and threw a wrench in our moving plans. The site needs to be more specific that the account needs to match the reservation name. No one and no part of the website told me that until I got there and had to troubleshoot for almost an hour. Also, not everyone has the best cell phone service in every location. I believe it's enough to have the account open with location services on to "check in." We were stuck waiting for the pickup site in an area that was sketchy. The process was a headache until we got to Walter in Arcadia.

there is no parking lot and all the cars are scattered through out the neighborhood. when we returned the car, we had to find a parking space that was legal. maybe they can get a better system going. overall, Walter was excellent and was just wonderful in customer care and service.

My uhaul experience was completely awful. I have been trying to make a complaint which I did yesterday and called again this morning and have gotten nowhere with this. I rented the truck for four hours on Tuesday simply to move a washer and dryer. I also rented a dolly to move the washer and dryer. I drove to property which was 42 miles one way and found out the truck did not have a ramp. The guy I used to rent this uhaul truck did not provide me with this information and the trip was useless. When I called customer service I was told that it would take 24 to 48 hours for someone to get back in contact with me. Today I was told completely different, two to three days. I was then told that I would get quicker service if I can physically go down to where I got my U-Haul from which I did. I was completely blown away with the customer service I received. I explained to the employee who gave me the U-Haul truck that he did not give me the information that the truck I got did not have a ramp, which I specifically told him and asked for a dolly to rent for that purpose. He pretty much said there was nothing they could do about my trip for nothing.
