Your systems were not working when we came to pick up our rental. You caused us to be late and the sequence of events preceding our pick up were then delayed. I lost out on help, I lost out on time, everything became rushed. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with that because it caused more stress on a stressful day. Plus our dollies weren't given to us. Yet I paid for them. I paid full price for this. And I'm not doing it again. This has nothing to do with your representative at Skyways; this has to do with you as an overall company. By the way, the representative at Skyways was extremely helpful and courteous through the whole thing.

Pick up of trailer was easy. However no one came outside to do a walk around the trailer or show me how to hook it up to my truck. The trailer 12x6 didn't have a tongue jack so it had to be lifted onto the ball. Not An easy thing to do.

cab of truck was filthy. I wiped down the interior dash, steering wheel, seats, doors with disinfectant wipes and they were black. Dried coffee was in the cup holders. It just wasn't clean. Back of truck was clean. Truck ran well and felt solid.

We had an incident where our car did not work to go home. We needed to rent another truck so we could get home. It indicated that Uhaul was closed at 2 and it was 5 pm. The staff tried to help us and called Uhaul directly and did get us a truck to use. I am very grateful for their help.

We really like the Skyways Motel for the convenience of the location, BUT most of all, Hem and Surbhi are wonderful people who have been very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We have rented from U-Haul a number of times over the years, but Skyways is the best one!

Because this location is a mobile only site with no personnel, we had booking issues. We visibly saw the van we wanted to rent and were stood out front of it, and fully booked and paid online, only to receive a call saying there was no rental available. So disheartening as it seemed as though everything was processed online and we were trying to get the keys from the drop off. We had no issues with drop off!

Truck could have been cleaned inside. Always rented vehicles cars trucks moving vans and they have always been full of fuel ready to go and cleaned after every customer.. This was dirty inside and only had just above a quarter tank. Only used for 3 hrs 45 min no deal. Charged full price on km abd full day rental But service from attendant was great and I would go back.

It was not the location, but rather the people on the phone “helping” with the reservation prior to pick up. They changed the reservation 4-5 times in a week (nearly every day), and were rude and inconsiderate while doing so. I had made a “reservation” a week prior, but it was not even available. Then they went on to change the location and trailer multiple times, affecting my time and plans, right up to an hour or two before I had to pick up the trailer. I was very disappointed, and will not EVER be renting again from Uhaul again. I will actually go out of my way to use a different company, because my experience was so bad. And I will be making sure none of my family or friends use them either. Horrible costumer service. Why do you even have the option to make a reservation, or preferred pick up location if you are not going to up hold it at all, even after an agent calls to confirm (4-5 times)? Very disappointed. Not to mention the trailer was very dirty when I got it, and it got all my belongings dirty.

The truck itself was great. I wanted to pick it up at 7:30am (the remote mobil option) and was called two days before to say it wasn't available till 9:30am. I had movers booked for 8:30 & couldn't rebook them. The remote pick up wasn't an option. Also no ratchet straps available. There were blankets though. I had to take an extra day because of this (1pm a day prior). At time of pick up the truck was almost not released to us because systems were down. Even with the reference number and proof of Dr Lic of my alternate driver they almost weren't able to pick up. Thankfully systems came back up. Just added more stress to an already stressful situation.

The service was awful in Gravenhurst. The uhaul drop off man yelled at my mother and I for 30 minutes straight as we attempted multiple times to put the trailer in 3 different spots he wanted it at. He refused to assist us all while yelling at us. Upon walking into the office there was a hand written note from the hotel to uhaul customers saying that if the trailers are improperly put you must pay the hotel $10 for the inconvenience of dropping off. Overall the experience was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had in my entire life, I don't normally have to ask people who are providing services to stop yelling and laughing at my mother. I would have rather driven an extra hour out of my way not to deal with this man and his establishment. We walked to the gas station next door and the owner of that establishment said he gets complaints all the time from uhaul customers about that man.

The heavier trailers should have a built in jack to lift it on and off the ball. I was lucky the gentlemen at the location was there when I picked up and dropped off or I never would have been able to get it on/off my hitch

Overall a fine experience at this location. In my contract I was due to drop off the truck at 2pm on a Thursday - to which when I showed up they were closed. I had to call customer service to get an extension until morning as I would have to hold onto the truck to get my deposit back. I had to deal with a major fiasco from the previous place (Barrie location gave me the wrong truck!) and the representative at skyway was very helpful in contacting customer service with me so that I could try to leave to get to work on time. This location was helpful...but my overall experience with uhaul was not.

Uhaul at skyways motel is a joke! Rude and lazy no assistance when asked plus they charged me extra money for kilometers that i was told i already was paying g for. When head office called operator was not helpful and didnt answer any of my concerns. NEVER using this joke of a business again!!!

Rates are extremely high. 141 miles driven, only had truck 7hrs, $200.53. Rented countless time with Enterprise, always a cube van, $90 a day zero mileage charges. Will never rent from U-Haul again or recommend them. Truly highway robbery.

One star is way too much for this location. The agent there who I believe is also the owner and operator of the motel is extremely rude, not only to me but also to the U-haul customer service rep that I called to sort out a problem. As he has a sign on his counter that states any problems to call U-haul as he just hands out the equipment for them. During our conversation with customer service that he had on speaker he got mad and actually said, "This is why I don't like U-haul customers there all stupid" The only way U-haul could improve there customer service at this location is to pull all of there equipment.

The vehicle smelled like cigarette smoke. Not sure about your policy on smoking. Also, the vehicle didn't have snow tires. We had a bad ice storm and couldn't drive the truck on our driveway without risk of getting stuck. I think you should put snow tires on your trucks in the north country.

Absolute worst customer experience ever. First time we tried to rent from here we had a confirmed reservation and he gave the truck to someone else because they booked for more days. This time we wanted a trailer and he insisted we must take it 2 days early or we couldn't take it. Upon return he was rude and began yelling at me for returning it an hour early. Worst customer experience ever. Beyond disgusted.

The owner was intially unhelpful and said he was closed even though it was 445 pm on saturday and the motel was open. I showed him the wet moving blankets but he just shrugged and did not give me a credit when my invoice was emailed to me.

I left the truck *exactly* how I found it. The manager there then calls me to tell me that he's unable to open the combination lock. I'd forgotten it so I called U Haul... after 6+ calls I still haven't been able to speak to someone who knows the code and now the manager is threatening to charge me. How does a company not have a database of the combinations to its own locks?! NEVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION OR USE U HAUL 24/7. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a nightmare it's been... still trying to resolve it... and have been on hold for 25 minutes....

The attendant seemed distracted and uninterested. He hardly spoke to us. Showed us where to drop the trailer, when it was in place he walked away without telling us what he was doing. He did not inspect the trailer. As we were about to go to his office he came running out with our receipt then walked away. He did not sign it or have us sign the confirmation. Such a difference from the pick up location!

The agent at Skyways was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, he had to correct and deal with the ongoing mistakes of the previous 3 days. Brampton, the regional HQ, tried to overcome the appalling service we got from Chris in Coldwater, who I had first phoned on Sunday for a trailer. She failed to return four phone messages and still didn't call even after the Brampton agent had assured us she would. By the time we picked up the truck (a comprise), we had received 3 email confirmations of bookings, all of which fell through. Although Brampton did grant some compensation, we still spent 3 days not knowing whether we had the transport required for our Wednesday deadline. At least we would expect a follow up from Indira in Brampton.
