The dirt and gravel is the only real complaint. Cement will better accommodate customers vehicles from being damaged by gravel.Thomas M.

UHaul failed to notify us of a change in pick up locations. (3 changes). The location was an extreme distance from the original pick up spot. There were no moving pads. It took 1 hour to complete paperwork so we could leave with the truck. The truck did not have any gas.Eli H.

No employees present when I showed up on Saturday. When someone did show up he then had to take time to find his laptop computer in order to complete the transaction. Also I had ordered a 15' truck and a tow trailer for my car. The inside of the truck had broken Christmas ornaments in the back and my trailer was not at the location. Next I had to drive to a different Uhaul location in order to pick up the moving supplies i had ordered that were not at the same location as my truck. The second location I was at did not have a trailer either so I had to drive the 15' truck across town in order to pick up the trailer and then drive back across town to get my car which i had to leave at the first location. Overall, my scheduled pick up time was at 11:30am and I did not get to even start packing the truck until after 3:00pm.Morgan L.

The rep at the store marked my trip as a one way after he told me specifically that I could drop the truck off at the UHAUL location near me, so imagine my disbelief when I was told that I'd have to return it to the original location or be charged a $200 fee. Not a good experience.Michelle C.

Office was cramped and hot..a/c not working, bugs. Nice people but the facilities were not even close to comfortable. Almost got stuck in mud trying to get trailer from the lot.cameron G.

This was the sketchiest business location I have ever been to. After waiting for the owner to finish up selling a car, I was led into a dilapidated trailer where the owner's son set everything up. They obviously haven't but any money back into the business and don't seem to care how dilapidated the place looks. I would go with a different company than U Haul rather than having to go back to this location.BENJAMIN F.
First of all prior to making this reservation, i was not sent to the nearest location that had my rental available, per management at the location, where i rented my previous truck from. so i called sky rocket prior to picking up truck, which i had to reschedule due to weather until Monday 10/30/2017. He stated that they opened at 10:30, which i said was fine, ill pick my truck up then, i get to the location on Monday around 10:15, no one was there.Mind me though, My appointment for the customer was at 11:00 am, so by the time they show up, i am already late, after having to call uhaul, who then tells me my reservation is at 11;30, when i specifically told sky rocket i would be there at 10:30. Hmmm, so now my day was already starting off wrong. eventually i get the truck after they inspected it and told me it was ready. so as i left i noticed , the check engine light was on, after two failed calls of calling sky rocket back, they returned call and said just drop it off after you are done, and they will take care of it, so now i'm driving from houston to galveston with a check engine light, and after finally making there to the customer and just about finishing up, the customer stops me, because now its after 9:00 pm, it was a one way trip, but i had to return customer items back to houston, causing me to have plan another trip, go over my mileage and spend more money on gas. Really not happy about this rental at all.bobby S.

I was over charged for the fuel. They also make car deals at this location and it was difficult to get their full attention to finalize my transaction. The guy didn't seem to really know what he was doing.Suzie B.
The guy who rented the Uhaul told me the price would be the same on a one way rental or if I dropped it back off at his location. When I returned the Uhaul. I was informed that the price would have been cheaper. He didn't have to lie, poor customer service was provided. I will never use Uhaul again.andrea D.
I actually have a complaint out on this location and waiting for uhaul corporate office to call me back this week. I want to start off by saying this place caused me stress and delayed me for 3 hours with situation still not handled. I booked a uhaul a week in advance to move. On uhaul website I put that I wanted to return the uhaul to a different location. The place uhaul sent me to said that I had to bring there truck back to them because it's there personal truck. I looked around before I agreed and no other uhaul had a truck for me, so I fought uhaul for directing to this place to begin with. So I rented the uhaul. The owner (Vernon) didn't attempt to give me a view of the truck, the mileage, nor the gas level. I had to ask him to give me a tour around the truck so I would know what damage was already on the truck. On the contract he gave me I noticed it said the tank was on 3/4 gas level which was incorrect. It was a line before the 3/4 mark so I called him back to the truck to tell him and show him. As I'm driving the truck, THERE IS NOOOO AC WHATSOEVER!!!! Im in Houston and the weather was beaming!!! He never mentioned that to me, otherwise I would not have took that truck. I called him immediately and told him it was not any air. He acted as if he didn't know and honestly did not care. So I rolled the windows down, total discomfort. Then I begin to feel tons of heat on my feet, that I could barely keepy feet on gas petal. I look down and the entire transmission is showing. I could see the ground as I'm driving so I start to panic. Remind you this is a huge 26 in truck. I call him immediately again. He said he don't know nothing about it. And threw me off and said OK he will call me back. Never called me back to make sure everything was okay. My husband had to latch down the piece in the middle of truck so heat would stop coming in on my feet from the motor. VERY DANGEROUS!!!!!! The worst part of all in this situation is when I returned the vehicle he told me I went 166 miles. That is crazy. I wrote down everything address I went to and how many miles from location to location I went. I only went 63.9 miles. I immediately called uhaul and gave complaint in his presence because he made me pay for 100 + mileage for someone else's trio that must have had the uhaul before me. I paid $277 for a uhaul I went 63 miles in. Im waiting on uhaul to call me this week to get my money returned back to my credit card and investigate this place. Never did he show me the mileage on the truck. And I know for damn well I didn't go 166 miles. That is crazy!!!! I don't have money for people to play with, nor do i have money for someone else use. What I believe is Vernon or someone else used that truck for personal use, maybe a family member or someone he knows,and he did not put it in the system. But what I do know is I'm not going to pay for someone else mileage. I will personally take uhaul to court and sue them for my 100+Lesadia H.
