My truck was not in working condition when I came to pick it up, it had flashing flat tire indicator. One of the tires had leaking valve (was replaced later by roadside assistance), and all other tires had low pressure. But gas station employee (Deep) was very nice, and helped to pump tires.Igor C.
Convenient location. However misleading rent rate, not mentioned $1.59 per mile not including gas for miles. Surprised to pay more gas charge.Charles C.

There were no parking spots available in the small parking lot - I had to park on street/sidewalk. Also, the Uhaul app directed me to drop off the key at a key drop-off box, but there was no box - I had to go inside and give the key to the nice man at the register.Brian P.

We requested two dollys and only got one. Additionally, the location we requested "did not have trucks available", but we drove by and they definitely did. We did not get a call until the night before that we'd have to drive 30 minutes (one way) to pick up at the new location. The customer service representative was late to meeting up and giving us our keys. I have called to issue a formal complaint but no response yet.Brendan W.

The truck we rented was not available at the location we reserved it at. we were sent to a location in Fremont for a 15' truck then to Campbell for a 10' truck. We were supposed to have the truck at 10:30 and had workers standing by 3 at $30.00 per hour, and we did not get back until 2:30. This caused us an extra $360.00 for the loaders as well as putting us behind schedule by four hours. The truck at Fremont was filthy and I had to clean the windows before I could drive the truck. Would not have used them had I known this was going to happen.Timothy M.

The person I went to drop off the rental did not seem to understand that I had a rental to drop off, not to pick up. My boyfriend and I repeatedly tried to tell her different ways and phrases of "drop off" or "leaving a rental" and explaining that the drop off address was this specific address. It's not that she didn't hear us, but she wouldn't listen to us as she repeatedly told us "some people will pick up uhaul but a different guy will come and bring you a uhaul". She eventually called someone higher up and seemed to be arguing with him in a different language about the drop off process of uhaul rentals at this place. Eventually got to drop it off but the drop off was a confusing, stressful and irritating process.Sehra B.
Key pick up process was not straightforward, I had to wait for 30 min before the key was handed over to me. They insisted on booking with them again at first, then took 30 min to hand the key over to me. There were no equipment I asked for rental in the truck. I placed my order on June 23 for a 10' truck that I would pick up at June 30. On June 29, just one day before, your customer gave a notice my pick up location was changed to a different location which I am not familiar with. When I went to the alternative pick up store I noticed it was a gas station. And the drop-off options are far way less than what I saw when I was placing the order. When I finished my moving at June 30 night, I was trying to drop off the Uhaul Key at the mission blvd Uhaul site. Again, I found it was a gas station and I even can not see a Uhaul Logo over there. More, when I realized the gas station is the site I was supposed to drop off the key, I found there is no drop-off Box. I had to park the car at the site and bring back my key back this morning. After I bring back the key early this morning, i was charged for one more day ($56). This is not reasonable. I was trying to contact the mission blvd for a reason and his altitude is so un-friendly. I will never rent at or recommend this mission blvd Uhaul site to my friend again. I felt this is kind of insult. I used Uhaul many times in the past several years and do not expect Uhaul became like these. I am not willing to accept this additional one day charge.Changlin Z.
Not the clerks fault, but the system didn't work! We were there for almost 45 mins, they had to do the process over the phone and it wouldn't let us add anadditional driver. Then, they said I would get the contract by email (I didn't), so they had to call back to have whoever did the process overr the phone send it again. Too long!Wendy S.

It was an extremely bad experience. We booked the rental with a dolly and 2 set of moving blankets at Santa Clara location, went there been told no rental car available, asked to go to Fremont. Fremont location was hidden in a gas station, one man show to operate all: gas, snacks, car rental. He was rushing to take gas money, then snacks... at the end came to us, this gas station have no equip for Uhal, all manual paper, he had to call someone to activate the printer to print out docs for us. We waited more than 2 hrs and he told us to go elsewhere for a dolly and blankets. We had wasted more 2 hours, gas, mileages and time from Fremont back to Santa Clara where we live. I extremely upset, moving is very stressful that was why we booked it in advance, Santa Clara did not honor his booking and pushed us to some place that he knows has no equip to help customer move forward faster. Hope you could help us to fix it and makes it right.KieuHanh N.
Not all of the equipment I had requested was ready. I had to go to a service center (~30 minutes round trip) for the furniture pads I'd requested. The store also was not aware I'd reserved a dolly and thought they didn't have one - though they later found one in a storage shed. Gentleman was helpful and apologetic. Just seemed like a lapse in communication. He was not aware of the add'l equipment I'd ordered.Rufino V.

This pick up site was 15 miles away from the site I requested 3 weeks in advance. It took me over two hours of time to get to the lot rent the vehicle and get back to the loading site. At the loading site, West coast self storage, Santa Clara, there were more than two similar sized vehicles parked. This was exceptionally inconvenient to say the least. The Uhaul customer service agents were absolutely unhelpful to say the least, the first person I spoke to, 48 hours prior to pick-up said the Mission boulevard pick up site was a temporary site and the truck would be moved to the a site with in a miles radius of the preferred site. The second agent I spoke to 24hrs prior to pick up made no effort to secure a favorable pick up site.Satish M.

It took over 40 minutes to check us in and get the truck checked out to us. Upon check in they were supposed to discuss other rate options (according to the individual who took our order over the phone). After this lengthly check in we figured she wouldn't know how to do this and couldn't afford to spend anymore time check in.robin T.

First off I had to go to 2 different locations to pick up the truck and then the tow transporter. Truck has a transmission problem so any slight incline in the road the truck could not go over 35 mph. A trip that should of taken 6.5 hours took 10.5 hours do to the truck's mechanical issues. Then I was upgraded by U-Haul from the tow dolly to the auto transporter. I was charged 79.99 instead of the 59.99.Manuel M.

no, the person working the counter had limited english skills and took forever to process my paper work, had a hard time swiping my card & had to spend 15 minutes with 2 cards before she could make one work. this person had to wait on at least 10 gas customers while i waited. not a good experienceGreg S.
