I rented this self service truck online. When I got to the location and completed the online process, it did not give me the combination to open the box and get the keys. I was working on chat trying to resolve this (on hold for about 10 min) when I accidentally lost the screen, and there was no way I could find to return to it. I called and was on hold for about 20 min of advertising, got transferred and the call was dropped before the issue could be resolved. Had to call again, another long hold before we got the keys.

Make sure the location has what it is supposed (drop box). It is not convenient to wait on hold for 20 mins when you have a schedule to maintain, which is why I went with mobile check in to begin with.

The shell station was awesome. The attendant did everything he could to help me get our U-haul. Uhaul on the other hand was very upsetting. Took 1.5 hours to get our rental. Then finally received a phone call to help expedite my rental. Got the rental finally then went back to open house, by that time everyone was gone and missed out on getting a couch. Still nobody cared at uhaul.

The truck was a little dirty. The last persons use of dollies and blankets were still in truck. We did not use them. There was no drop box that would fit the key and the service station attendants didn't really know what was going on. I got the key from and attendant and Returned it to him.

I had one problem after the next checking out the uhaul and even checking it in. The website referred me to call and when I would the staff would refer me back to the website and did little to figure out why I was having trouble hours later it was figured out the last person never checked it in and after I explained my trouble to the Garret he seemed to frankly not care he gave me a discount but honestly due to the whole experience I will never rent from uhaul again.
