Unbeknownst to us, we were assigned a 20' truck with 2 slits in the inside of driver's side tire. Driving several hundred miles had to add air to tires several times and also encountered rain midway through the move. We did call roadway service halfway through the move, waited over 2 hours but they didn't show up so my husband added air again. The truck had leaks in the body of the truck that we did not know about until we reached our destination. Mattresses and other household contents in the truck were soaked and ruined. Also, had to call the roadway service to fix the tire which was almost flat at our destination. When roadway service arrived the man had to remove the flat tire upon telling us of the 2 slits in the tire and that we had car tires on the the truck. Roadway service man said we were lucky that we made it to our destination because of the faulty truck issued to us. Our U-Haul moving experience turned out to be a complete nightmare.

Worst experience of my life. I sat in the parking lot for 2 hours before I was finally able to get the keys. Now I see I was overcharged more than what was suppose to be paid. I will never use a u haul again.

I think you should give more than 30 miles. There was NO WAY we could do our move and return the truck and not go over the 30 miles. Plus, there were closer authorized Uhaul dealers closer than Sign-a-Rama to drop the truck off but apparently your system needs to be updated. If it had been, we would NOT have gone over the 30 miles. Needless to say, if I move again, I probably won't use Uhaul again after being charged for extra mileage when it wasn't necessary

They billed us for THREE MILES after we drove way out of our way to turn the truck in at this location. We rented another truck after this one, the lady at the rental location gave us an extra 10 miles, and we didn't need them, but was nice to have had them if we did. Sad that Uhaul needs to bill less than $2 more. SAD SAD SAD

The key drop box was extremely hard to find. It should be located on the building near the door, not on a post in the middle of the parking area. We walked around the property several times before locating it. We were tempted to just lock the keys in the truck.

You can end your contract with Mike's Go To Crew in Tullahoma. I was scheduled to pick up at 9 a.m. By 9:30 the business owner had NOT shown up to open the business and that is why I had to go to Sign A Rama. In addition, I called about this and was relayed from a regional manager that ‘with everything going on, this business owner is often running late so that's probably what happened.' UNACCEPTABLE. You are a regional manager. He is a business owner. Get your crap together and take care of your customers. It was with my second call that a proactive representative set me up with the truck at Sign A Rama. That should have happened with the first call. I will not be renting from you again.

The location and phone number left in the voicemail and message from Uhaul had the wrong address and phone number. I had to look on the website to get the correct one.

I was not in a hurry, they simply DID NOT HAVE a pair of pliers to undue the c-clamp. They also DID NOT HAVE anyone available to assist me with the connection of the trailer to the truck. I had to figure out how to back-up the truck to match to the hitch on the trailer and attempt to connect the trailer with zero assistance. No safety check was completed to check for lights or anything, I did not know how to connect the plug for the lights and again they DID NOT HAVE anyone available to assist me. I was told this multiple times. The trailer did fall off the truck when I went over the train tracks. Thankfully there were some gentlemen available to assist me with making a proper connection. I thought I had to go buy a trailer adapter for the lights to work, but these friendly folks who just happened to be in the right place at the right time were able to assist me. Bottom line for me was to let you know that if anyone needs a trailer and if this Sign a Rama dealer doesn't have anyone to assist, they should NOT BE RENTING Trailers. Major safety issue, at least it was for me.

They should post a sign inside by the front door to help people from out of town figure out where to go or who to talk to, as there was no one in the entry area. There wasn't even a bell on the counter, just one person yelling from another room telling me to watch my step. Which, at that moment, I didn't even realize they were talking to me, so it was awkward.

We were hit with a gas charge even though we only drove truck less than 10 miles and put a gallon of gas back in the tank. When we questioned this we were told it is in our contract to verify how much gas is in truck when we first get in it. We didn't think to do that and then were hit with the charge. It is disappointing policy that doesn't give us the benefit of the doubt and will definitely cause us to shop other rental companies in the future. We think we should have been given benefit of the doubt in our situation.
