Not a fan of the 24/7 pickup. The location was closed. Had some trouble with my credit card because of my bank's fraud prevention lookout and being a cross country move the charge was high. After the bank took the block off and I was still having trouble U-Haul customer service got it to go through then offered to finish the check in with me over the phone. She was wonderful!,BARBARA D.
I find it amusing that I am rating the location but not your software or your process. I thought the online process was going to be simple but it was pretty nightmarish. I had no idea it would take over 30 minutes of struggling to rent the truck in the morning. The worst issue was i could not check out the truck until I created an account. Nowhere was this ever mentioned. If the software had worked better, this would have been a much better experience.Wayne W.

Pave the parking lot! It was a mud hole. Since I dropped off after hours there was no personal there but I did eventually learn how to use the drop box.Ken G.

I was originally to pick it up in Fargo ND. I'm so grateful that once again they didn't have the equipment I had reserved because the place in Alexandria was SOO much better. The people at the Fargo uhaul places were all rude and disrespectful. I will NEVER attempt to rent from a Fargo U-Haul again... EVER!!PATRICK P.

I had to return the U-Haul truck late in the evening. The U-Haul return business was closed. Unfortunately the place was small with very little room to park a 26 ft truck and was poorly lit. Then, the mobile app to check in and return the vehicle was not functioning correctly. After some time I managed to complete the return through the website. That went smoothly :-)Robert M.

Couldn't locate my drop off. I was charged a drop off fee for the wrong drop off. No drop off address on the contract. My drop off date was on a Sunday. Bad combination all around. I contacted the regional office and they told me they could not help me and my situation. I was charged for two rental trucks in two different directions at the same time. Uhaul, as a company really screwed us over. We made our reservation for pick up in our town over a month a head of time and the day before they told us the closest pick up for the size truck we needed was three hours away. When asked if they could get it closer we were met with a firm no. They didn't even comp us the gas it took to drive their gas guzzling truck 3 hours back to where we actually needed it. Huge disservice and will be using Penske next time even if costs more. Shutters towing was great, with nice staff and empathetic, but uhaul can pound sand as far as I'm concerned.Angie H.

We do NOT have any idea how uhaul could ever improve on these two Dealers..... Both Shutters Towing made the pick up so extremely easy and Sparky's Repair was exceptional as well!!!! Seriously, if uhaul has or recognizes any kind of "Dealer of the Year" award BOTH of these Dealers should be honored!!!CONNIE C.

I returned the trailer after work hours (on Labor Day), so I did not interact with any staff members. However, the staff at the drop off location must have quickly processed the trailer, since I got the receipt shortly after start of their work day.ROBERT H.

I reserved a truck online and had the location changed twice in two days including the day I was scheduled to pick up the truck. I had to drive an extra 90 miles as well as make other changes to my moving arrangements. In addition, the original pickup site in Morris MN is unacceptable. They are not open any posted hours, have no answering machine and when you go there in person the doors are locked and the cell phone isn't answered and voicemail is full. The person running this site is also unable to answer basic questions or trouble shoot situations.Rhoda S.

Let them know with â€œwordsâ€ when they pick up what time the truck must be returned by to avoid being charged an extra day. What a rip-off. I'm sure it was on the emailed contract but you need to make it more obvious. With all the texts and emails, why don't you make it clear upfront? Really pissed me off having to pay another day then you probably made someone else pay to rent it while I was still paying for itmarta M.
