Original location for the rental stated "computer glitch and sent me to Shooters Alley for trailer pickup. Original rice quoted for two day rental with insurance was less than $90, but new location wanted over $120. Ended up with one day rental and no insurance due to your companies bait and switch greediness.George T.
Initially they mentioned they will fix the car free and They have charged 45$ for fixing â€œtow dolley â€œ to car. I will not recommend this location to these money eaters.Venkat G.
They went home early and flaked on me. Gave me the wrong keys and forced me to use a smaller trip making my move harder then making me pay for additional mileage because of it! 1.5 hours on the phone with uhaul that day to pick up in the dark absolute shit experience. Shooters Alley location is closing unfortunately. They sold their 55k sqft location to an indoor climate control storage company. The new purpose will be successful but the staff and facility will be missed. They've been so cordial and professional.kalyne W.

I showed up the location was closed the truck did not include the appliance Dolly I specifically asked for. I had to go to anther location and call 20+ locations to find one which was a hour out of the way. The whole debacle cost me 2.5 hours. Would not recommend this location.Clay H.

When I had to turn in dolly lot was dark. Also I couldn't turn in on line cause your phone had a waiting time and your website kept kicking me off. So therefore you charged my card 20.00. I need CustomerService to contact me on charging my account 20.00 for after hour service when i got there I return the truck by scanning the barcodeâ€¦.. And plus the truck was due back on Tuesdayâ€¦. They are very rude and try to talk over you when you call themâ€¦.Samiko M.

Cellular data reception was very poor at this location for Verizon. While there is a 5G tower in the parking lot the signal quality was low resulting in a frustratingly slow app experience.Ted W.

Have a back system for customers in a low signal area your network response time was to slow for my online check and delayed me from my schedule arrival time.WILLIE B.
It was good service. The lady was very professional but I only traveled in the uhaul for roughly 40 miles. (Heather) the lady of whom was very nice claims I drove it 74 miles. Ended up costing me $178 and I had Already been charged for an estimated 40 miles the day I picked the uhaul up. I had the uhaul for 2 days. The $178 isn't right. I feel it needs to be looked into and a itemized receipt needs to be presented. I got no receipt to even show me how I was charged. Funny thing is. I wanted to pay in cash and they was ok with them. Just saying I should have paid the $39.99 twice and I only traveled around 40 mile. I wa charged twice. Do something please. People are struggling and trying to move and uhaul ripped me off. It is not right to cheat people just because you think you can get away with it. I have worked and rented U-Hauls to people for many years. Person checking me in charged me $46.92 fuel charge I made him take it off, I put more fuel in truck than what was in it when I rented the truck I had my fuel receipt and a picture of the fuel gage on my phone and mileage. This is the second time Shooters tried to rip me off.Brenda C.
My boxes were late. They were returned by Uhaul movers but I am still being charged with late fees added for 2 of the boxes. These boxes were rented to another person under my account. I have contacted this facility as well as Uhaul corp. I was told I would be contacted by upper management in 3 to 5 days. I have not been contacted. My original concern was placed Dec 4. I have made several calls since. I am still being charged. I have yet to be contacted.Lisa P.

I was directed to this location by Victory Fuels because they 'did not have room on the lot'. They did have at least two easily accessible places I could have parked the trailer. The dealer on Hwy 78 in Oxford, Al was closed, but Ieft the trailer and called customer service who was very nice and said she would make a record of my drop off. The Victory Fuels dealer and Ed Higgins Jr. need to take some training on proper customer relations skills!!!!! Please put me in touch with someone higher up in management than Ed Higgins Jr. so I can continue this discussion. Thanks.JAMES B.

The truck and trailor were of age and should be retired. The whell cover on the trailor came off in transit and I believe I was charged and shouldnt have been.MARVINLEE P.

The lights did not work. I went back to the location and they couldn't fix them or replace the trailer. They told me to call Roadside Assistance. Roadside Assistance SAID they fixed the lights during the night. They were not fixed. We traveled 600+ miles in storming rain with ONE taillight, no running lights, no blinkers, no brake lights....tried to get the trailer exchanged at other locations in the area before our trip, none available. We were stopped in 2 different states because of the lights Uhaul will not talk to us. WORST experience EVER with uhaul and their customer servicer has tanked apparently.SASHA H.
Our equipment was not available, and not as much as an apology was given. Additionally the staff was extraordinarily rude. The associate raised her voice at my wife, suggesting that she shouldn't be upset for the fact that the associate was more than ten minutes late. Additionally, the staff seemed to be more concerned in catching up with a local official than getting my truck out on time. To add insult to injury, the oil level was barely sufficient, and the gas tank was between 7/8 and full, just to the point where the staff wouldn't have to worry about it. Go down the street to the other Oxford location. Go to the location in Weaver. Drive to Atlanta or Birmingham. But avoid this Uhaul location.KEVIN N.

The self-dispatch option is an absolute trainwreck & nightmare!!! Called the "800" number posted & sat on hold for 35 minutes. Once we got someone on the phone, it was approximately another 20-30 minutes to get equipment rental completed. Total time from arrival until equipment rental was completed...1.5 hrs. Hope to never need a U-Haul again.Joshua B.
