The pickup location is extremely congested. When I returned the truck I had to leave it in a traffic area and was asked to move twice by other customers. The issue I had was that I had to drive 150 miles to pick up a truck that ordered on line. I was told by U Haul in Fargo that they would forgive the mileage charge and give us an extra day to keep the truck. I returned the truck a day earlier that they requested. My final billing was three times the amount that I was quoted on line. The gas gauge was in the same position when I return the truck as when I picked up the truck. Why the extra gas charge? My next rental will not be U Haul and I will not recommend anyone else to use U haul.Ron R.

I called to verify everything three times and was given different locations and different sizes of storage units. I verified my pick up time for the uhaul truck and was called stating that my reservation would be canceled if I didn't pick it up within 15 minutes. That was at 2 pm and pickup time was scheduled at 4:30-5pm. I was given different answers each time I called, and when I went to claim my reserved storage unit at the address I was given, I was informed there was no record of my information on file. I was also told they did not have a unit for me in the size I ordered. I was informed that it was also not climate controlled, which is what I ordered. The price I was quoted was 124.99, but the actual price was 139.99. I am beyond frustrated, and this experience proved to be more stressful for me than actually moving itself. This complaint has nothing to do with this location for pick up or the owner!! It has to do with Uhaul management!!! When I went to pick up the vehicle I had to deal with a speeding ticket that you did not let me know that you had received or paid on my behalf... instead you said you had sent it via email (which your records show that you didn't) and you wasted this owner of Sheyenne Storage time. It took your employee more than 45 minutes to work through this ticket, when in August of 2019 you could have sent the info. By Uhual dropping the ball they created A strained time frame for both your customer and the owner renting the truck. Management should relook at their processing's guidelines in securing that tickets are taken care of promptly. Less headaches down the line for all people involved. I have never had a bad experience and Uhaul has always been helpful and courteous, but management should reassess their procedures in contacting clients!!Cheryl G.
I booked the UHaul at 4901 13th Ave and had it reserved for 8 AM. I changed from Main Ave so that this location would be closer to my home, north a few minutes. I went to pick it up and the lady sent me to the above location, south a few minutes. She did not mention that the place opened at 10 AM. First, she should have told me that she does not have any one way trucks on her property at all. Not ever. Next, she apparently forgot to send the order to the above location so that personnel there had no idea until minutes before he arrived at work. Fortunately, he got there early so we were less than an hour behind time. I had people scheduled, then asked them to come later since I couldn't get truck until 10, then again earlier when I was able to get it. My labor help came after 10 because of the confusion. I not ever ever rent from 4901 13th Ave ever again. The lady just talked around in circles and did not admit she messed up. She implied that is just how it works - customers get the runaround.Corina C.

I was not provided with Dolly and furniture pads I notated this on my check out and left message with location. I want the refund for these items $27 + tax. If you can not help me please let me know who can. I also reported ck engine and gas light were on and truck shook whenever there was a bump Or I came to a stop. I felt very unsafe. The location was closed on my return day even though their posted hours said they would be open. I went to another nearby location that was open but was told that I had to return it to the location on the reservation even though it was closed. I did not like having to return the equipment to a closed location since I then had no proof that I returned it within the scheduled time.Anthony P.

Return time for the trailer was after hours of the office. The place to drop off trailers was in a gated area needing a key fob. This resulted in me trying to return online. Due to technical difficulties I spent about 1.5 hours in the U-Haul parking lot on the phone with different U-Hauls around the City and 1-800 number trying to return my Uhaul trailer. I offered to bring it to different locations that were open but told I would be charged for not bringing it back to the correct location. Finally, I was told by the 1-800 number to leave the trailer in the parking lot and they would put a note on my account that it was returned on time (Saturday). Received my bill on Monday and they billed me for 3 days instead of the 1 day that I had it. Called the location I rented from about it and they said they were the ones who billed me but couldn't credit me anything but to call another phone number. After another 30-minute phone call and 3 days waiting for my credits, it all worked out. I had to spend way to much time trying to return my trailer and then to fight for my money back. On top of that, the exterior of the trailer was very dirty.anthony S.

The gentleman waa fabulous answered all questions and we got excellent service here. We actually stopped at a uhaul location by Sam's club on 13th ave the day prior and was so disappointed with the service we waited til someone was at Sheyenne storage because they are not rude like the other place was. Door opened twice during travel, handle had been checked prior to opening. Windshield wipers were not particularly effective during normal interstate truck speeds. Required driver to slow down in order to effectively and safely clean off windshield.James M.

We had originally selected the site on Veteran's Blvd, knowing that it could be changed. The time for pick up was 9:00 AM. The site was changed which was fine but the time indicated the same. We arrived at 9:00 only to find that Sheyenne Storage doesn't even open until 10:00 AM, so all was delayed-not acceptable.Kenneth D.

I made my reservation online. I received a phone call from 'corporate' to confirm the pick-up location, date, and time. The gal on the phone confirmed an 8 AM pick up - however, we are lucky to have called the location because they do not open until 10 AM!! I feel the person calling me to confirm should have had all that information! When we arrived to pick up the trailer the night before, the person didn't know how to access the reservation. He cancelled it however, and then needed to 're-do' it a couple of times. The pick-up took over an hour! The price was right, however, the process is painful!Angie H.

The truck broke down due to an oil leak they should have spotted before I left the dealership. I only drove 2 miles before the truck was in poor enough condition where uhaul deemed it needed immoderate maintenance. However, they did get it fixed and back on the road in a very timely manner of e hrs between the call and repair to back on the road. They gave me other options like willingness to give me another truck to put my stuff in if this truck was bad enough. I told them I just loaded my 26' truck by myself w 3 kids and a breastfeeding mom and I absolute not touching my stuff again. They offered to hire a moving crew to do it but ended up repairing my original truck. Upon renting my car transport, the employee did not connect it correctly and if I did not check it it would habe fallen off and been a big problem. 150 miles into my trip, a tire blew on my trailer. I'm lucky my car did not end up on its roof. I again contact uhaul via the website (they don't have an ample call center so you better hope you have reliable Internet access) and they sent a pomps truck out to me to fix it. Of course they sent the wrong tire after I told them it was for the trailer not the truck. The tire guy had to go back a d get the correct one so that was another delay. I am not satisfied about the poor condition of their equipment but I am very happy with the customer service and roadside assistance.NATHAN D.

I was very irritated that you sent us to the wrong drop off location! Initially we were told to drop off the trailer at 1508 4th Ave NW in West fargo. WRONG!!! So we had to call in to find out where to go. So we almost missed the drop off due to it was almost 5:00.
