No-love-lost for the customer; but then, who needs it. Shitty, real shitty lot (don't wear your brand new sneakers) and trailer is the worst of it's kind...but for me, great location. Would I wish this experience on anybody else? If you care, NO!! if you don't care, at you own risk!!

The truck was not operating at the standard necessary for the reason rented: moving. I received the truck already-started and went through the prompts to 'accept' the condition of the truck before pulling away from the pick-up/drop-off location. Unaware of this dashboard 'alarm' lights purpose, I drove to my new apartment awaiting the mover company to arrive. Once they arrived, I attempted to restart the truck to go to my old apartment. The truck would not start. I spent 20 minutes trying to restart the truck on my own before calling the U-haul customer service line. There, I was informed roadside assistance costs including a tow if necessary would be my financial responsibility. Now 30 minutes into my 1-hour window with the mover company, I was luckily able to restart the truck and cancel roadside assistance. This is when I noticed the message corresponding to the dashboard 'alarm' previously mentioned; the left RR tire was low. So, knowing the tire was going flat and it was unreliable to start again, I immediately returned the truck to the pick-up/drop-off location. It was not logical for me to continue using this truck knowing further complications could follow, especially after loading the truck for my move. Not only that, I would not have time to load and unload the truck with the moving company at that point because the truck would not restart when needed. None of these conditions were due to my use of this truck. When offered another truck upon return of my rental, I declined as the reliability of the location was already clearly compromised.

Rude employee. When reserving the truck I had the option for 7 hours, returning it by 6 pm. When getting to the site I was told they closed at 4. The lot was filthy, the truck had no dolly or moving blankets. Uhaul should be ashamed to have their name on this business.

Fill the gas tank up to full please, so annoying to get a Uhaul with 25% tank. It just doesn't drive as well and adds extra stress of having to fill up before instead of after moving everything.

iI rent a dozen of blanket & there only have 6 . Also the truck was with drash . I have to clean it before I put my furniture. I always rent a UHaul . Buy this time I was disappointed. Also the truck & windshield where dirty.

Whoever checked us in was extremely rude. In addition, the uhaul app is unusable/confusing. Last time I rented I could not get past the gps page to check into the location. This had something to do with my phone which i could not fix even after adjusting my settings. It was fine because I was able to drop off my keys and though I didn't say anything, I fortunately wasn't charged the additional fee (the customers were also very rude the first time, at a different location). At this location, my second time, I used a different phone & was able to check in my location however I couldn't take a picture! It was just a black screen. Either our phones are what's wrong or the uhaul site is not compatible.There was also not a key drop off & was told by someone (not sure uhaul employee) to leave it in the ignition. Also, the close the gates after they close preventing you from doing an after hour drop off & we had to hold onto the uhaul until morning. Also it was due at 9am but the office didn't open until then... Just an extremely stressful experience overall and I will probably not be using uhaul again. Each time it has made getting the uhaul worse than the actual moving itself. If I do decide to give it another try, I will be taking off work to be able to drop off before closing. Then at least I can save myself from using uhaul mobile which i have never been able to successfully use.

Most importantly, your agent was not wearing a mask despite many signs telling customers they must wear a mask. Everyone in the office was not wearing one. Absolutely why I will never return. Also, the truck was absolutely not cleaned in between customers. There was a used dirty sock and someone else's uhaul contract sitting right in the cab.

The rental was fine, but the location was dirty and not a place I would go to for a rental again. The woman helping me was very pleasant and certainly helpful, but the location has limited rental and utility options and I know there are better places to rent from.

Employees were generally not very friendly or helpful, especially 1 of them (the older lady). The other one (younger lady) was actually quite helpful over the phone after I returned the rental. Plus the van was not cleaned at all. And then after telling me I wouldn't be charged an extra day since they were closed on my return day, low and behold I get charged...

Diamond is always so sweet, helpful, and professional. Always happy to go back to this location! (Van Nuys location is another story though. Not only did they confirm the availability of an unavailable furniture dolly, they sent me to another location to pick it up - delaying my move while wasting time and money - and they gave me a truck with a slashed tire and a glowing check oil light on the dashboard. Will not be recommending that location - ever).

The truck was filthy when I checked it out. The staff was rude and dismissive. I could not get the truck back at 4pm yesterday but had it back at opening this morning, just as I had told the service person when I took the truck out. I was charge an additional day anyway, which is terrible business on U-Hauls part. A terrible experience from start to finish and I will never use this outlet again. Terrible.

The truck was in horrible driving condition. The steering was difficult since the truck needed an alignment and there was a wiper blade missing on the driver side. Also, the truck had a dolly in it that I didn't ask for and the employee made it sound like it was free but they charged me for it. I didn't ask for it in my original order.

When I picked up the car there was no gas in the car hadn't been cleaned and employee notified me that he was sorry the employee who usually fills up the gas and clean the vans isn't there. When I had returned the vehicle they charged me a cleaning fee. Absolute fraud. I need my money back and an explanation.

Better organization. Whoever was in charge of the location wasn't there. I was sitting outside the unit for 10 mins and who ever helped when in to fulfill an location order when I had already completed it online and was just waiting on the key. The furniture pads were just sitting outside on a dusty dirty table. When i returned, the door was locked, there was no drop box to leave the key. The guy happen to be returning right at that time so I could give him the key.

The only thing that I would suggest is letting the customers know ahead of time that they can't leave their car in the lot. Other than that it was a fast and efficient experience.

They don't seem to have that much businews at this location and you would think having clean vehicles and not over billin wouldn't be a problem, but seems to be. Love the ability to rent U Hall from there or anywhere , just that they need to clean up a bit and make sure the phone resignation people know they can't accept rentails back on Sunday. It causes issue. Although Sergio M., Area Field Manager did an amazing job of rectifying the problems. Loved the van and don't get me wrong, but that location could use a bit of care and love.

Rude and hostile to customer (myself), did not address me for ten minutes, chased me out the door when I tried to ask if I could at least be acknowledged... Then I was told that they had no dolly to rent, minutes before I had to begin the move - and I was forced to accomplish the loading in the 94 degree heat by using a small luggage hand truck moving 3 boxes or less at a time for a total of 11 hours and more than sixty trips. Then I was contacted about my drop off location having been changed with no further information on the new location beyond an address (which does not appear anywhere on the building.) I had to RETURN to the location to complete the drop off. The attendant here (San Marcos) was polite and thorough and APOLOGIZED for the company's behavior in Sherman Oaks.

The website allows you to book trucks when this location isn't actually open. I needed a truck at 8am, and booked it for 8am, but was not able to pick the truck up until 9am. Was not contacted about this discrepancy beforehand. The employee working behind the desk was incredibly rude and argumentative. The inside of the truck was pretty gross.

Everything was great. Can't remember the lady's name but she was very good and we had a nice chat about the trailer, moving my daughter home due to her work closing with the C-19 nonsense. They didn't have the 10 pack of blankets due to them getting wet during the recent rain. Also, the trailer smelled like someone had hauled a generator or other gas powered machine in it. No stains or residue but the lingering odor was there. Not sure much could be done about it. Otherwise hook up, safety and light check, paperwork was all a breeze.

This was the worst rental experience of my life! When I checked in on my mobile phone (as recommended by the app and company due to the Covid-19 spread), the manager came out (after I had checked in) and told me the truck assigned to me on the app was not for me. She then took the two dollies out of the truck and said I could not have any dollies. When I asked why (I had requested a dolly in my reservation three weeks prior), she said she had none available and I am taking the truck that belongs to someone else. Meanwhile, she had ten dollies in her office. I then had to go to another location and purchase a dolly. After checking in over the app, the manager said she would get me the key, yet after 15 minutes (she was out smoking) she still had not given me the key. I wanted to check in in as contact-less fashion as possible, but I could not because the manager would not give me the key to the truck after I had checked in. So I had to step into the office, where she only begrudgingly handed me the keys, as if I was taking something from her. When I came back to return the truck (as was clearly indicated in the app), she manager's employee came to me and told me I could not return the truck in the lot where I received it! When I asked where it should go, he said: "I don't know". Luckily, the app allowed me to check out. I am horrified by this experience and will have to consider whether I will ever use U-Haul again.

The cab was dirty and full of food and garbage. If you charge a renter a cleaning fee if the vehicle is not returned clean, then the next renter cant be given a vehicle which is this dirty. Same on the cargo floor. Garbage. Not happy if you have an attendant at the station to check returned vehicles. Her comments were “thats ok”. I dont know what to do with that

This was the worst experience I have ever had with UHaul. First off, I walk on to the lot working on using the mobile app for my mobile pick up. A man, who worked there, started yelling at me to go into the office, that there was no mobile pick up at this location (despite the face that that was the reservation I had). Would not listen to me try to explain myself, just kept yelling. Then, I go into the office where the female employee said that there was no mobile pick up, started checking me in, and proceeded to take multiple phone calls, one pulling her out of the office for at least 10 minutes. Not the efficient mobile experience I have come to expect from UHaul. I was also told that I would not be able to drop the vehicle off when I had planned. Again, no mobile drop off, so rather than my scheduled 9pm drop, I would have to find a place to park the vehicle and come back tomorrow morning. If I had known this would be the case I would have gone to a different UHaul. I could have tried to make it back before closing but they close at the incredibly inconvenient 4pm. Eventually, she pulls my truck up. She handed me the keys and walked away. No walkthrough, nothing. I get in the vehicle, it smells OVERWHELMINGLY like cigarette smoke. There are even ashes in the door handle. The cab is covered in soot. Clearly no one has bothered to clean this thing in a while. The vehicle drives poorly. I would guess power steering fluid and a brake tune up we both desperately needed. When I opened the back, there were someone's old ratchet straps and a furniture dolly we didn't need living in the back. (Again, I doubt they had even looked in the back for some time). Upon return, I again had to wait 10 minutes, before the woman looked at me and said she just needed the keys. No walkthrough, nothing. The vehicle was immediately handed over to another customers. This place was the worst.

I was verbally abused by both the manager and the woman staffer. They completely lost it. When I called the Uhaul main number they threatened to call the police. BEWARE. The lot is nothing but loose fine dust which got over everything.
